Just curious... i try not to use Cool Whip because I make my own whipped cream. I f I use 16 ounces of heavy cream to make the cream, would it work the same? I'm desperately trying to recreate my mother's lemonade pie recipe from the 60's-70's. I know she didn't use Cool Whip, but everything else sounds just right! Please help?

I use the small individual pie shells sometimes instead of the large ones. There is no mess because you don’t have to slice it.

My Mom makes home made whipped cream as well .she suggests using powdered sugar instead of granulated it holds up better Enjoy!

No we did not bake. We bought a
pre -baked cookie crust. But, you could also use a pre made graham cracker crust.
