For the Cheesecake:
►2 lb cream cheese, room temperature
►1 cup granulated sugar
►5 large eggs, room temperature
►2 Tbsp sour cream
►1 Tbsp lemon zest, from 2 lemons

Natasha here is a little bit of safety information. After you wrap your cheesecake with aluminum foil and place it in the pan walk that over to the oven. Pull out the oven rack. Place the pan and cheesecake on the rack. Now pour your hot water into the pan. Push the oven rack back into the oven. This way you aren't walking to the oven with hot water that might splash onto you. 🤔 😊

Hi Natasha thanks for the cheese cake idea of a different topping❣️ My Mom always made a lemon cheese cake but would make a sour cream, sugar and vanilla topping and put it back in the oven for about 8 to 10 minutes and we love it my daughter is the one who makes it now and she uses my Mom's recipe. I will definitely try the lemon custard topping on the next one, Thank you and Mucho Love❣️🤗🥰
