All I know is one time I joined a lodge before I got out years ago and when I was asked who I put my faith in and I said Jesus I was quickly and abruptly interrupted and told not to say Jesus in here but to use the word god. @Ronald It's not specifically that word.... in the ceremony of initiation, you only give the answers that the Junior Deacon tells you to.
In Freemasonry we do not discuss religion and specific religious figures, because potentially, we have men of all religions present and mentioning one specific character, alienates all the others. We are about unity, not division.
To say we aren't Christian, is partly true and partly untrue. How? Because we have men of all the worlds faiths. Some are christian, some are not. In Freemasonry, a man's faith is irrelevant, as we are NOT a religious organisation. It's like having a Christian only football tournament.... completely pointless and irrelevant.

I felt like I was being watched or something, even though it was empty. After the tour he told me that I can join if I wanted because women can be Freemasons, except I would be at a different lodge. He wouldn’t tell me what they do, when I asked him. So I said hell no, what’s the point in joining if you can’t tell me what you guys do. I was 20yrs old when that happened, so besides it being creepy I honestly didn’t think much of it, until the years went by he would say some creepy weird stuff about occult practices that he was into. I’m not sure if all Freemasons are like that but I thought it was weird that he would say he’s Christian but would say a lot of rude things about Christian’s and about God. He suffers from a heart condition and he would use that in order to have his way in order for me and my friends to feel bad and get him things. He would tell my friends and I that he’s going to die soon and yet he’s still alive lol I was 21 yrs old when he started telling me and my friends that and I am now 29yrs old and he’s not dead lol I find it silly. he would use the fact that he’s a Freemason against us all the time, some were stupid and went along with it and still do and well I just got tired of him always saying that he’s dying in order to manipulate people because he still does that. He started changing and well life happens and I just stopped talking to him and cut him out of my life. Claim 1: Joining the Lodge requires Christians to ignore the exclusivity of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. False. Joining a Lodge requires a statement of belief in a supreme being (which Christians obviously do). That that statement could equally be answered in the affirmative by, say, a Muslim, has no bearing on the beliefs of the Christian Freemason.
Claim 2: Freemasonry has a dogma regarding the attainment of heaven. False. Freemasonry allegorically refers to Biblical references to heaven in its initiations, but has no dogma whatsoever about heaven. In fact, Freemasonry has no dogma of its own at all. Your belief is not modified, challenged or suppressed in any way by being a Freemason. If you find that your beliefs change as a result of being a Freemason, then that was probably more about you than the fraternity.
Claim 3: All "volumes of sacred law" (e.g. scriptures of various religions) are deemed to be "equally important in Freemasonry". False. Freemasonry stresses only one book of scripture in its degrees, and even then only allegorically. That book is the King James Bible. It's referred to through quotations to illuminate specific ideas that are not specifically religious (e.g. that a love for all mankind is an important foundational element of civilization). What you're confused about is the idea that the preferred volume of sacred law (e.g. scripture) for the individual is to be used for them during their initiation. That is, it will be displayed for them as a symbolic touchstone of their faith. If that's the NIV Bible or the Bhagavad Gita or the Tao Te Ching, that doesn't affect anyone in the room other than the individual being initiated. Freemasonry has no role in telling you what your faith should be or what text is sacred to you.
Claim 4: Freemasonry requires men to engage in activities which the Bible condemns. False. This arm-waved in the video, but just to be clear Christians of good faith have been Freemasons for hundreds of years, many of them clergy and many of them highly educated in the specifics of Biblical scripture. None of them had any problem reconciling Freemasonry with their faith. Yet, you, an outsider who clearly doesn't understand Freemasonry have decided that it has some sort of requirement that would necessitate behaving in un-Christian ways... I think you might have read too many conspiracy websites.

Bible as Word of God seriously??? We don’t even know fhe language and content of the original bible notwithstanding the numerous translations. As per John’s gospel, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word as God...”. Obviously the Word is the Divine Power. Many cultures call It the Shabad, Kalma, Unstruck Sound, etc. The Word is not exclusive to only a group of people or religious denomination.

😃 ❤️ Amen brother! The Bible is clear on the exclusivity of Jesus Christ as being THE only way to be saved from eternal Hell and the bondage to sin. The Bible states, “This Jesus is the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the cornerstone (of the Saving faith) . There is salvation in No One Else, for there is No Other Name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it (that name)”.
    Acts 4:11-12
“How has Jesus Christ proven His rightful claim as Savior of all people?”, you might ask? Because His arrival, His lineage, His ministry, His Resurrection after His murder; all foretold 2000 years before His birth! And Christ fulfilled each prophecy to each detail. 500 nonChristian witnesses attested to His resurrection days and weeks after His burial. That’s how and why Christ holds this unique position as being THE one TRUE God of mankind. I’ve never known of any religious leader in history that ever predicted his death and resurrection… And then actually pulled it off! 😃

Your statement cannot be true. Your grandmother was never a "Freemason". Women aren't allowed to be "Freemasons". Freemasonry is NOT a religion. It does not tell you what to believe or not believe, other than you must believe there is a God to whom you must answer one day. If you are an Atheist, your oath is worthless because you will never answer for it, therefore, you cannot be a Freemason. There are millions of Freemasons who deeply believe, and are guided by, the Scriptures. Freemasonry does not get involved in each Man's religion, nor does it tell him what to believe, or what his beliefs should be. Our saying is, "We take good men, and make them better." We pledge to lend assistance to our fellow man, regardless of his belief, we pledge to help the needy, we pledge to always "deal on the square" and we hold honesty and integrity of high importance. The World, including most especially Native Americans, would be a lot better off if the Masons ran everything.

Religious or not, every action has a reaction, that’s a fundamental law of the universe.
One can try to hide in the furthest reaches of the universe or in the deepest depths, actions, good or bad, produce energy, a vibration, that’s like a boomerang that will go back to where it was sent from. When one practices being bad rather than being good, it’s just a matter of time for the consequences to come back to you.
If people think they can get away from the consequences of their actions and avoid repercussions by taking someone’s life, or through torture, imprisonment, paying them off, (to silence them) it’s only temporary, it’s only a matter of time. Sooner or later we will face the consequences of our actions.
We will all have to take responsibility for our own actions.
People who have no conscience and no remorse in doing harm to others will have a hard time finding peace in their lives whether in sleep, in their dreams (or nightmares) or in the paranoia and fear that casts dark shadows across their waking moments.
Where do we go when we dream? is this a hint that we are more than our bodies? That we are an energy that carries on after we die?
Even if they could control their nightmares, is death the end of existence?
What did the Egyptians believe? The Muslim, the Buddhist, the Christians, Jews, Hindus, Jehovah’s Witness etc.?
Let’s look at history, even now, what are the implications of choosing the darkness?
When we choose the darkness over the light we might win a few battles but we can never win the war. When we choose the light we will always win the war.
Religion or no religion lets practice kindness. That’s the only way to have peace within.
By the way the atrocities in the world; famines, war, poverty are all caused by humans and not by the energy that wasn’t created or cannot be destroyed. We all have free will.

A follower of Christ? Well, the majority of Masons are too. But it's important to know, that Freemasonry is not a religion, but a fraternity. And because it is not a religion, we have members of all the worlds faiths among us. Every member follows the same faith he followed before he was a Mason. There's no reason to change anything when he joins or take on any further beliefs.
God loves us? Of course he does. One aspect of Freemasonry is take responsibility for our own actions and admit our failings, knowing that if we are truly sorry for our transgressions, we will be forgiven.
So, go right ahead and ask me anything you like.

      @teecee1567 Před rokem

@@hunterkai6416 Good afternoon Hunter. I don't know what you used for research, but if it mentioned "Jahbulon" then it's is total pigswill! It may have seemed like an academic study, but you have my word, it was not.
Jahbulon is a made up word, with absolutely no basis in truth whatsoever. It's often put about by conspiracy theorists to tell lies about us. To prove it, just get your Third Degree under your belt and then join the York Rite and/or the Scottish Rite for that matter. You will then see for yourself that there is no such thing as "Jahbulon".
Nowhere in Craft Freemasonry (commonly called the Blue Lodge) does it state that you need to have a particular faith, you just must have a faith in a deity that created the universe.
However, beyond Craft Masonry, there are some Appendant Orders that REQUIRE a believe in the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost of the Christian faith, though, so you're good to go, if you wanted to join those. But by no means do you need to go beyond the Blue Lodge if you do not wish to.
      I hope this helps.

all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents

This video is extremely misinformed and inaccurate. As a Christian Freemason, I see no conflict between Christianity and Freemasonry. Freemasonry doesn't have a doctrine of salvation, so I don't know where you got the idea that we are required to believe in salvation by works. Individual Masons are free to hold whatever view they wish on how to be saved. I am free to believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone in the atoning blood of Christ.

    • @ukchristian28

@Tslav TV I really do suggest that you actually speak to some Freemasons instead of getting your information from Chick tracts. We don't have "handlers". As Masons we are all regarded as equal.
I am not sure what you mean by "Blasphmet?" If you mean "Baphomet" you should look up Léo Taxil, an admitted 19th-century hoaxer who made up all that rubbish about Freemasons worshipping that idol. It actually had its origins as the alleged idol worshipped by the Knight's Templar and Taxil thought he would make use of it. Most of the nonsense about Freemasons worshipping Lucifer comes from him as well. We worship God at Masonic lodges and no one else.

    • @ukchristian28
      @ukchristian28 Před 2 lety +3

@Tslav TV There is a Masonic side-order known as the Order of Knight's Templar and Knights of Malta (I like the look of them and might join them one day) but they have no connection with the historical order. To call them "high ranking" is not accurate because no side order makes someone superior to another in terms of Craft Masonry. As far as Craft Freemasonry goes, the highest degree is the third degree: that of Master Mason. Besides, the historic Templars confessed to belief in Baphomet under torture, so I wouldn't put much stock in that.
A lot of that stuff supposedly from Albert Pike was made up by the hoaxer I referred to and the rest is taken out of context. Which specific statements are you referring to? You should also be made aware that Albert Pike is an obscure figure today (a lot of Masons won't even have heard of him) and he was only ever relevant to the Scottish Rite, which is another Masonic side-order, separate from Craft Masonry. His writings are not considered to be anything other than one man's opinion so to cite him as though he is some kind of binding authority shows a high degree of misunderstanding.

Yes, there was a papal bull issued many years ago (in ignorance!) however, Pope John Paul II revisited many of the issued bulls and changed and altered some of them, as was his right.
The Bull issued many years ago, specifically named Freemasonry as a group of which Roman Catholics may not be a member. The alteration made by JP II, changed the wording to "those that plot against the Church". The effect of this is to remove the blanket ban on Catholics from being Freemasons. The onus is on the INDIVIDUAL to decide for himself, if the group of which he is a member, is plotting against the church. If he believes in his heart that this group or society does NOT plot against the church, he's good to go.

The funny thing is, Jesus was a Jew sent by the Jewish God as the Jewish messiah, rejected by the Jews strung up by the Romans, came back to life and hey presto became the Roman Empire's Messiah and the Jewish God was absorbed into the Roman Empire's Pantheon of Gods. So BULLSH*T.

I am a Christian. My mom is with a man who says he's a man of God but then he claims to be a freemason. I tried to tell him that that is not good he be saying 33 alot without explaining. He actually worships the sun cuz he doesn't have a Bible and always watching videos about solar energy and mythology one asked if God was an alien. I don't want to associate with him he has said my mom is his wife though they are not married and she didn't let him get a ring though he's convinced her that he's her husband. My brother and I don't like him.

@kelviannaepperson3677 Good afternoon Kelviana. Did you know that most Freemasons were Christian, of one denomination or another? You don't HAVE to be Christian, however. As Freemasonry is NOT a religious fraternity, a man may be of any faith. he chooses. Everyone in Freemasonry respects the right for any man to follow any faith he wishes. This being the case, your Mothers b/f probably IS a good man. The fact he's mentioning 33...well I don't know for sure...there's no requirement to do that at all.. so I think he's probably just teasing you.
Of course...from what other things you say about him...he seems to be a bit of a loon!

@TheRealist2022 yes but the bible says not to take oaths and it syncs the religions together so if anyone was Christian they'd actually end up worshipping someone else.

@@kelviannaepperson3677 My apologies for not replying sooner.
So if you think oaths are bad...what do you think of the oath your parents probably took when they got married? The oaths your godparents took at your baptism. What about the oaths taken by priests and nuns? And those taken by members of the armed forces...those that protect us day and night? And those oaths taken by doctors/surgeons? If you need a life-saving operation, would you refuse it because the surgeon had taken the Hippocratic oath? I think that's probably enough to prove that the taking of oaths is perfectly fine.
When it comes to the religion a Mason follows, you really do have it all wrong. Badly so.
The FIRST requirement for any man that wishes to join Freemasonry, is to declare that he has, at the centre of his life, a single supreme being, that created the universe. The identity of that being, is left to the individual Freemason. A man joins Freemasonry, with a particular faith, be that Christian, Muslim, Jew, Sikh, etc. and maintains that faith as long as he wishes and no further religious affiliation is ever required. He is NEVER required to take on the beliefs of others. For example, if you get a Christian Mason next to a Jewish Mason at a meeting, the Christian Mason believes in only "God". The Jewish Mason believes in only Yahweh. Both believe that the other Masons deity is false...but does not use that difference to create division. We tolerate the beliefs of others, without necessarily sharing them.
I hope that explains things adequately.

Hell no, freemasonry would be benefit to society if their were no God… but their is… and putting man in his place as freemasonry does is a curse on this world
