    Thank you for translating into Fahrenheit and inches! I use a Husky 3120xp to mill, and my next project is cutting a 62” diameter hickory with a crotch that reconnects to the main trunk (84” diameter at that point). Your video has been the most helpful of any (and I’ve watched a lot of them)!

      I have a 3120xp set up for a double head. As long as you don't hit metal, it will be a breeze. If the log is dry, keep the chain oiled. Lots of fun.

      @@AdamTrautmanBowling Yes I have! Lots of weight and torque, but ultimately slower... Nice saws tough!😁💪

      @@AdamTrautmanBowling @adamtrautman2873 It's only so much that torque itself can give. Hp is king in wood cutting, there's only so much resistance wood can create, after that chainspeed and hp is king. You could put a bigger sprocket on the 090, but its still a less efficient saw; hp, torque and rpm taken into account.

      Thanks for the shout out bud! Its called a Protos there not cheep I have the SENA headset built in. It make a massive difference on jobs being able to talk with the guys on the ground easily, also I listen to music and answer the phone! Cheers Blaise

    Like a blizzard. .kkkkkk lmao..we get blizzards, you can't see and lots of snow...but if you go upstate NY, they get crazy snow, places get feet of snow..by Great Lakes is insane how much snow they get

    There are bandsaw mills cheaper than a pair of 880s...... love it! Hilarious also that you were using a ladder only as the guide.
    That would make SEVERAL nice tables.

      skiSrp Pre hi mate they both pull the chain but if you look there are mounted on the mill different so the work together. It’s a bit hard to explain but basically it cuts much faster. Cheers Blaise

    Man that thing can make some fantastic slabs. But I'm still left with a few questions. 1, still wondering how both saws are kept in sync and 2, the saw bar spans a good distance, how do you keep from concaving your slab? I do think I might build that large but one motor.

      Richard, sorry for the delay in replying to your questions somehow I missed it. You can hear when the saws are running in sync very occationly you need to stop and re sync. Yes you have to be very careful how you set the mill up to avoid bar sag. cheers Blaise

    Quick hack for rolling and adjusting big logs if you don't have a forklift... Screw a wood plank (2"x8"x8' or bigger) on the log perpendicular to the log, the leverage makes it easy to adjust. I've flipped 4' diameter logs easily with this method.
