Imma actually defend the girls a bit here. The whole point is they get one jewel and one recorder and they give the jewel to who they felt the most charmed or confident with. Just because they recognized that he tried more doesn’t mean that it it was an automatic jewel for him. I agree it sucks but he was positive about it and doesn’t seem to hold any hard feelings. The girls chose the guy they connected with the most and it wasn’t him unfortunately quite yet. He will be amazing tomorrow I guarantee it

I think people are being unfairly harsh on the girls. Jeongwoo definitely put himself out there and stepped out of his comfort zone, but the other four guys worked really hard to make an impression as well. Just because the girls didn’t give Jeongwoo a jewel doesn’t necessarily mean that they didn’t appreciate the effort. It seems that they just had a stronger impression/connection with the other guys. IMO it’s unfair to say they are fake or unappreciative when the competition is tough. Also, Jeongwoo is 100% entitled to wind down and have some quiet time, but the reality is that time is crucial and limited and that others will use that opportunity to deepen their connection with the girls, especially before the selection. I don’t think that the girls commenting about JW being quiet at dinner was an “excuse” or a failure to “respect his boundaries”. That was simply their thought process. The ideal scenario would obviously have been for all five to get a jewel, but I won’t fault the girls who were probably unaware of each other’s picks and had a big pool of really sweet guys to pick from. I also don’t fault them for not giving him a recorder as Jeongwoo told them he cried when he got three (I actually think it might have been better for JW if he hadn’t mentioned the recorder situation at the get go of the 1:5 and just focused on charming the girls with the hilarious, cute personality that us Teumes always see). Anyway, there are still 2 episodes left and I’m rooting for Jeongwoo to take it all the way and win the title of Mr. Treasure. Just wanted for people to ease up on the girl hate.

You can only think rational when it is not your bias who experience it. If Jeongwoo did nothing for the whole episode I would understand but I will never get this episode.

Some people who are JW biased are not thinking rationally and are letting their emotions get the best of them, to the point of throwing unwarranted hate at the girls and refusing to continue supporting the show. The situation was upsetting for sure but everyone on the show, guys and girls, are working hard and doing their best. IMO, they all deserve our support

thanks for your reaction as always! i've been really intrigued by everyone's responses to this ep so far. i 100% agree with the outrage, and god my heart ached seeing jeongwoo's reaction 😭 what i think a lot of people forget, though, is that as much as we view the guys as very specific, unique individuals who have their own behaviors bc we've known them for so long (i.e. jeongwoo being the most relatable introvert who needs to recharge), the girls are also specific, unique individuals who we've never met before (i.e. minye seeing yoshi's honesty in a different perspective). i think we have a skewed perspective of who should get what because we see things with the bigger picture. being just one girl and putting one jewel and one recorder into a locker and leaving the room, you're not going to think of the bigger picture. they most likely all had the same thought process of not giving him the recorder because he improved during the date, but then all had the same thought process of just finding someone else better after the whole day. they thought of it as neutral, we thought of it as negative, and there's not a "right" way to see it when you're the one making the decision. not saying i agree with any of them, i would've fs gave my jewel to jeongwoo LOL, i just think it's rlly easy to get caught up in the "even distribution" when the girls themselves have no idea what's going on outside of their individual choices. sorry for the essay haha, i feel like i'm always psychoanalyzing this show.

Jeongwoo is an incredible person. Especially when he sings it's so soothing. But let's not hate anyone guys just because Jeongwoo didn't receive any jewels for now. Let's elevate him by seeing the good stuff he has, not just because he didn't receive any. At the end of the day, he's still the MVP and he's more than a jewel. Keep your spirit Teume he'll see what it looks like soon.
😂 I've seen people getting mad at the girls for not giving the jewel to the member they expected them to give, and giving a voice recorder instead. 😂 I also don't like seeing them receiving voice recorders, but those were the rules. These girls didn't have any choice. They had to give one voice recorder to one of them, so I can't really be mad at them for that. And I'll defend the girls here. If I were them (based on what I'm seeing obviously), I'd also give the jewel to the person I find most comfortable and charming, in terms of what I find most attractive, not just because I'm impressed by their singing, tbh. Jeong Woo is indeed a brilliant singer and one of my favorite vocalists in Treasure. However, this is not a talent show. 😂 You know what I mean!
Anyway, I really have high hopes for him to be more interactive and show his relaxed and funny side more. Although, as an introvert, I can totally understand him. But at the same time, I think if I were him, I'd be talking to them as much as I can to avoid the awkwardness, even though I know I'll feel embarrassed after speaking that much, but still. 🤣 also I am aware that everyone is different, so I'll not judge him based on that,

Actually, so true. And as a girl, I can definitely say we don't change our minds that easily. If these girls already have someone (among them) in mind, it won't change based on (other men's) small charm and impression. Also, they're not choosing them based on one thing. It's about everything that has happened so far. It's like an analysis of two days. 😂 And then they're coming to a conclusion.

I agree with you this is bul***it 100%. getting an empty locker hurts more than receiving a voice recorder,i was mad when i watched that scene because he really did his best he even sang in front of 5 girls that he barely knows and that's a big deal for an introvert person like him that's not easy at all and only because of that he deserved at least one jewel.it's so sad the girls didn't acknowledge his efforts. i was like "What else does he need to do?"
My question now is, what does he need to do differently for the girls (or one of the girls) to choose him? 🤔🤔 I don’t care that he got quiet during dinner - after a day of activities and putting in the effort, he should be allowed to wind down if he wants to. Any of the girls holding that against him don’t actually respect his boundaries and that is truly disappointing.

The main point of fans being disappointed is that they judge jeongwoo base on the dinner wherein in fact jeongwoo said he used all his energy on the 1:5 date that he didn't expect either. And as introvert person too it's not easy but he still did try his best. why built him up just then just to judge him base on how he react on the dinner. I don't hate the girls tho. I just don't get them maybe they really eyeing other members already to the point that they cant see the efforts and step that make.
I think the teaming really affected the way the
girls gave the jewels & the recorders. Hyunsuk's
team had 3 girls with only 2 boys so they got
more chances to get a jewel. Yoshi's team got 2
girls with 3 boys so 1 boy is bound not to get a
jewel & unfortunately it was Jeongwoo. Notice
also, the girls gave the recorders to the boys of
the opposite team. The 3 girls in Hyunsuk's team
gave it to Yoshi, while the 2 girls in Yoshi's team
gave it to Junghwan. The teaming was supposed
to help them interact with each other but it
divided the whole cast instead.

feel like even the boys would feel like it was unfair that jeongwoo wasn't choose, he did improve A LOT and everyone noticed, that's why hyunsuk said he was thinking he was the one receiving voice recorders and Yoshi said that if jeongwoo sang it was over for them.
I also get that the girls can't change their options so if they open a cabinet they HAVE to put the jewel in there so they have no way to know jeongwoo didn't get a jewel ☹ but still hurting 😭

BWAHAHAHA tbh, i don't really get the point. like Jeongwoo's actually being himself with those strangers. it's not like they're family or Treasure members so he could go wild. bruh! does he need to pretend just to impress them? that's never been his character. 54:00 the girls have to use both, they get 1 jewel and 1 voice recorder and have to use both of them. they can't choose to use one OR another, or just give the jewel, they are obligated to use both! 😿
But we only see bits and pieces of the whole day in one episode. Yeah, they chose him as MVP and had a good time with him. But what resonates or what was memorable for them can be different. It may not be what the viewers predicted or wanted because we know Jeongwoo gave so much effort and fairly won MVP. But again…different girls..different thoughts..different perspectives. They saw more of Jeongwoo, but then they kept expecting more after the 1 to 5 date. Then compare their time with the other members and those 1 on 1 date, who stood out to them?? Of course it will be different answers because each girls have different experiences. Did I think jeongwoo deserves a jewel? Heck yeah. But also the other guys deserved their jewels too..Junghwan also worked hard in improving his communication and it paid off he got 2 jewels. So that means Jeongwoo will work hard again in the next episode to finally get a jewel and I think he will.

@@abyvoyeah they showed some moments that was not shown during that same episode. But it was moments and actions that stuck with some of the girls that helped them make the decisions on who will get their jewels. For example, we did not get to see the cute interactions between Junghwan and Jisoo during the mini soccer game or the Hyunsuk and Seungji moments. It was kind of glazed over because they had a time limit for each episode. So again we only see what we see in this episode, but like you said missing context on certain decisions or situations. I mean the girls did give their reasons as to why they did not give their jewels to Jeongwoo. I felt bad for him, BUT again the other guys also deserved their jewels too. I also understand Jeongwoo feeling drained, he really did put so much energy that by the time dinner happened he felt he did enough to get a jewel. But lesson learned for him..the gjrls noticed and even though I wished they gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him a jewel. The other members as well put a lot of effort throughout the day too and still was engaging and attentive with the girls during dinner. Hopefully, Jeongwoo will get a jewel in the next episode…redeem himself.
I know there's always going to be more that we don't get to see, but I can only judge what was presented to me....the episode made it seem like Jeongwoo was going to come out on top by the end of it. Not only did he not receive a jewel a second time around, he didn't receive a voice recorder either. He literally stepped up to the plate and impressed all the girls and ended up with an even WORSE result because of it.....by doing more of what the girls wanted from him in the first place! 😭😭
Him going silent during dinner is no excuse to me; he's an introvert and after entertaining the girls during the day his energy felt depleted. I can understand if he was quiet and anti-social the rest of the day, but that just wasn't the case. I do believe all the guys should have gotten a jewel this episode for sure, but if I were Jeongwoo I'd be devastated to think what more can I dooooooo?? 😭😭😭
@@marcogennuso like I said…I wanted him to get a jewel or at least a recorder to get some feedback or reason as to why. But staff kindly told him the reason, which I agree was not the best reason considering he put so much of himself out there, the kid was exhausted. But again…these girls have their own perspectives and feelings too and by the way..they are only granted one jewel and one recorder. They had to give the jewel to the person who they felt more connected and comfortable with throughout the day and they made their decisions. Yeah they praised and were surprised by Jeongwoo because he put himself out there. But like I said different girls and different perspectives of feeling connected/seeing more of that person. I felt Minji would have given her jewel to Jeongwoo because she did spent more time with him both days. But she felt like she got to know more of Yoshi and had a better understanding of him. To her Jeongwoo still kind of has his walls up, where he does show himself and then takes a step back again into his shell. Again..I understand jeongwoo feeling drained..social battery was at low. I GET IT. But the other guys as well put a lot of effort and energy throughout the day and still managed to be engaging and attentive at dinner. Even Junghwan who also had trouble communicating was able to show more of himself that day. It’s a mix bag of emotions cuz you’re happy for the other boys, but felt so hurt for Jeongwoo. However, Jeongwoo took it like the MVP that he is and will do better in the next episode.
I’m just saying I understand both sides and thought jeongwoo should have not gotten an empty locker. But again…the girls only have one jewel and one recorder. I don't think the question "what else does he need to do" applies to this situation because, at the end of the day, it's all about the connection. No matter how much effort you put in, if there is no connection, then there's nothing you can do about it. Just like what happened in part 1 between Jaehyuk and Asahi, Jaehyuk interacted more with Yewon and tried his best to charm her. However, Yewon chose Asahi because she felt more connected to him.
That’s correct, if there's no connection then there's no connection, no matter what anyone can do. Jeongwoo tried and was left with even less than the first time around. So should he just not try anymore? Because for him to get a jewel he is gonna have to do a bit more still lol

You know... I tried to think about the girls perspectives of why they didn't choose Jeongwoo and what were the excuses for it... I got it but a disagree at the same time... like saying "I didn't felt his charms directly to me"... maybe cause he's shy and sometimes couldn't even look at one girl for long... but he was trying the hardest to not let this get on his way, even if he has to sing for it or keep the chat going besides the shyness... that for me was more than enough of a growth from the first day, and he deserved at least something.
On the other hand, all the boys were as good as him, especially Junghwan, who is also shy... but I think that that shows how sometimes the first impressions really matters, because the others seems to be more chill about it or more opened... so sometimes when the person is a little more open from the beginning is easier to pay more atention to them maybe... but I feel sorry for him cause he worked so hard though... I really hope from now on the girls will start to pay more atention to him and understand him more... LET'S GO PARK JEONGWOO, YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!! FIGHTING!!!

Some of you are being too harsh not considering the girls' perspective. With five charming boys but only one jewel to give, it's a challenging situation. They've already mentioned how difficult it was to choose, yet some are judging the girls as if they conspired to exclude JW. They can only award one jewel, so naturally, they gave it to the person they felt the strongest connection with, unfortunately not JW.

i think someone times we has fans get over protective which sometimes we need to cool down.the thing we forget has fans is that this girl's are seeing them has just regular boys not idols. Has a girl i dont start liking someone just because they are nice to me for a few hours. jeongwoo is shy which is not a flaw, but has it strength and also has it weakness. but what fans are not realizing is that they might hve had had jungwoo in their mind but during dinner when his energy was down(which he has every right to do) there were others energy who werent which is no ones fault and during that time it was easy for the others that are still socializing to pick the intrest of the girls. sadly thats the way real life is. adding the fact that jeongwoo said he was hurt by receiving three records last night the girls might hve taught since im not giving me a jewl i wont give him the recorder to spear his feelings of getter hurt. it kind of reminds me of myself during my first year at college i was someone who was shy but had friend who were extrovert and whenever we went out i only would talk to other people for a short while but then just get quiet because i was tired but my extroverted friends talked to those people longer and got to know them more than i did. at first i was mad that why couldn't these ppl see i was trying but to them they just got closers to the ppl they talked to more and connected with more. later realized that no one was really at fault but we were all just diffrent and that fine. also watching the show me just how shy some of the members around ppl that are not the members and hopefully the show helped them be fine with talking to other ppl besides the members.

Before I even watch this I’ll say it’s weird not even one girl chose jeongwoo. I can’t understand coz he did a lot and he got an empty cabinet. What was the reason? Am genuinely pissed off soo……
Also they made the whole episode about jeongwoo just to ruin our expectations. I mean I expected atleast one but they seem to have chosen what we didn’t see.
If an empty locker is the worst, would you prefer him receiving another nicely piled stack of recorders? The recorder is for the least charming one and you still want that for JW? He expressed his hope of not receiving any recorder. At least give him that and stop insisting that a recorder is better than an empty locker.
A recorder insinuates that the girl(s) are thinking about him and would like to see more. So yes, an empty locker is indeed worse. But both would have made no sense considering how Jeongwoo was in this episode.

They spent the whole episode being surprised by him and praising him and everything, but in the end none of those compliments were completely sincere to the point where they gave him the jewel, that's sad

This is not an introvert friendly show. The boys were forced to do this. Batch 1 girls are more appreciative than them.
I just dissapointed at how they split jeongwoo with jaehyuk, asahi, and haruto. I mean, at least they split them in half. If at least, jaehyuk or asahi is also in this batch, then it's going to look better. They can became the recorder collecter together. Actually, jeongwoo is better than jaehyuk. But the thing is, the boys in this batch are also so much better than the boys in in the first batch. That's why jeongwoo's social skill looks very bad here.
The girls are so fake, because how did they praise him the whole day then gave how nothing. I'm so upset tbh (he even sang for them)
How are they fake? Two things can be true. The girls could recognize and praise Jeongwoo’s efforts, but also feel that other members put in a lot of work as well. I think people are being really harsh on the girls.
