I thought I was the only one rooting for Hayul and Doyoung LOL! They would actually look good together. They match each other's vibe!
Okay but then you talk about the polar opposites and then you have the middle men aka Yoshi, Doyoung, and Junghwan who have a balance of both tbh. Doyoung is actually an extrovert like Hyunsuk while Yoshi and Junghwan are introverts, but their approach towards the girls were all different. We mentioned it and you mentioned it a lot…these batch of girls were very drawn to the members who are in between the two extremes. The balance of approachable and friendly, but also unexpected charms. They also mentioned a lot about liking guys who are more acts of service aka the guys who notice and does the little things. Which tbh Jeongwoo and Hyunsuk has shown that as well in this show, but like I said the girls just seemed more drawn to Yoshi, Doyoung, and Junghwan.
I feel that Hyunsuk did his best and got jewels, but at the end of the day…I felt he was more a support system for his members who were very shy at first. He was more of their hype men for his boys and making the girls feel comfortable. That’s how I feel…he was like i want to see my members do well and support them. I’m
sure he felt a bit sad not receiving a jewel, but he was more happier seeing the other guys jewels at the end of the day.
As for Jeongwoo, of course he should not change himself. It’s more improvement instead of changing his personality. Honestly there was not a lot of time and he’s the type that it takes him a while to get close to someone. But he truly did put a lot of effort and became more honest about his feelings in ep9. I knew Minji would be his best chance, but then there’s also Yoshi..and I’m like aww man..Minji will totally give it to Yoshi. Even though I was hoping she’d give it to Jeongwoo.
I knew Minye was going to pick Junghwan, they have chemistry and I love their conversations..it’s true they’re so comfortable with each other that it seems like they’ve know each other for a long time.
I knew Hayul would choose Doyoung..she always had an eye on him since Day 1.
I was conflicted with Jisoo and Seungji tbh..because they both connected with 2-3 other guys throughout the show. It’s kind of funny how Junghwan is like the other choice of both girls. Both girls walked towards Junghwan and then swerved to yoshi and Doyoung. I was like you did not just do that?! Why did you have fake him out like that? 😆
But yeah I figured with the girls in this batch they would go for Yoshi and Doyoung. Junghwan surprised me tbh..he’s not shy Junghwan anymore.

like when jisoo came every member immediately glancing at doyoung (idk if it's only me who see it or i'm being delusional lol)

Oh! You're right. I didn't notice that ring💍 Hyunsuk wearing. You're so observant of that. I think the girls give their jewels to the person they spend time with the most. Like Jisoo and Hayul to Doyoung then Minji and Seungi to Yoshi and Minye to Junghwan. Anyway, I love that they learn through this experience. I learned from your insights too. My bias is Jeongwoo, but I feel like If I was there I would give my jewel to Doyoung, he is so charming and manly in this program 😂😂
Doyoung is just being Doyoung, he reallly is like that i think as a teume. He can be caring, flirty, cringy in a good way and funny even with his fans and his members. Doyoung and Yoshi deserved the title tbh!
Jeongwoo doesnt have to change himself or for himself to be someone he isn’t just for a show. And in my perspective as an introvert especially we had the same personality type.. u have to gain my trust for me to open up more to people, and in reality dating if Jeongwoo was the girl, u have to work for her if u want to be closer to that person. Not everyone will jive into your introverted personality with just a few days. Jeongwoo might not get a jewel but more people knew his charms.
FYI: i saw a video of Treasure’s backstage at their concert in the Philippines and someone gave Jaehyuk a jewel and his smile is so precious! The fan is so sweet!

Correct and honestly he was always supporting the introverts in the group..he was like their hype man aka wingman for the other guys to get close with the girls. So I don’t really think his goal was to get a jewel, it would be nice and he did get jewels. But yeah I think he was more happy for the other guys tbh.

hiii LMAO we made it!! very nervous to see everyone’s reactions to this episode… i will preface this by saying i have no specific qualms haha
i think the scene that made me laugh was doyoung & hayul hesitating so hard on dropping the formalities because it made me realize i dont think this group did it at all. i dont know the korean language like that but i remember the first group was filled with “noona”s and whatnot from at least haruto if i recall correctly. just a small interesting thing between the two halves
im just gonna end up repeating myself abt the whole minji recorder thing but i rlly liked ur insight on how it’s unfortunate that jeongwoo is a guy who takes in feedback but he wasn’t able to get that earlier from minji who’s clearly very analytical of him. to me, yet again, im trying to see things from her perspective where she probably was just trying to reach out to more of the guys and gave it to someone she hadn’t spoken to (as in her mind that would make things more well rounded)
the same way u wanted to see more jeongwoo 1:1 i wanted to see the doyoung 1:1 stuff haha. he bought the candles because hayul said she didnt like the crazier gestures w/ flowers & balloons, but the gesture in itself would still be considered a slightly “grand” gesture and the other girls like jisoo did say they liked it or didnt mind it. i wonder if they commented on it and that's gonna bother for me forever the same way it does that we didn't see asahi and jiyeon's pepero talk
i know everyone is going to be sooo shocked by hyunsuk’s result but the first thing i thought of was, maybe jeongwoo will feel slightly comforted by this LOL. if his “perfect leader” member didnt get one, then maybe it will really emphasize that the girls really were honing in on a preference that stuck out to them as opposed to the guys having to “do everything correctly” (which hyunsuk is said to have done). i was genuinely wondering if that was going to happen, because i was also curious to see if it would happen in the first group with jihoon & junkyu
also i know u had a slight issue with this LMAO but one thing i guess i “appreciated” this time sort of was how much more lighthearted the final choosing was?? like in the first group only yewon rlly did a fake out (which i still dont believe was entirely up to her but i guess we dont know her like that) which made it much more awkward and feel almost too serious. but this time almost all the girls were joking around a little with their directions. i know it’s definitely still weird to some, but i think the fact that most did it made it silly which is better to me
anyway sorry for the essay and thanks for the reaction!! cant believe this entire thing is over and i dont get to see my 11 girls again haha. guess we’ll all come together again in waiting for the treasure comeback!

do you know what the sad thing for me is, i just know a few of them really caught maybe feelings for each other or started liking each other but bcs of the toxic culture in korea of idols who date WHAT I CAN NOT STAND they are maybe scared or something to really start something
yg doesn't really have a big deal with dating scandals, if they date in a future it may be possible since yg is know for having a good response to that, it's not something that its forbidden by the company, if they want to, they can. but of course that 4 days wasn't enough to like someone, maybe they got interested in each other but started to like is a little bit to much... 😅

Man I respect your opinion but i disagree on the minji stuff. She’s only allowed to give one voice recorder and she decided (maybe do to thinking someone else might have given there’s?) but probably do to wanting to see something from another guy more.( I don’t remember who she gave it to) in my opinion the show should have given them a option to give multiple voice recordings but that’s not the way it came out
Multiple voice recorders would be good, or maybe 1 more episode (each half lol)

I found this final voting SOOO UNFAIR. cause man wdym the man everyone found perfect, that makes everyone comfortable and took care of others since day 1 didn't get a jewel?! feel like this part was really unfair somehow. day 2 was unfair to jeongwoo and this day was unfair to hyunsuk in many ways! they took the caring personality of hyunsuk for granted. 🙁
