1. Cost of high dose statins are more than what you mentioned. Any new technology is costly initially. But with time cost comes down. As significant public health matters are involved as consequence of high cholesterol, government involvement will be solicited. And if that happens, as we observed during Covid vaccines, cost control is possible.
2. Gene therapy another field of ongoing research.
3. What will be the consequences of loosening lifestyle measures, time can give answers. But other issues, such as diabetes and metabolic syndrome may increase.

Yes, regenerative medicine is a very upcoming field of research, particularly with stem cell therapy. Hopefully there will be some solution for the above mentioned issue of optic nerve as well.

৷ স্যার... আমার নাম.. জাকারিয়া আমি চট্রগ্রাম বাংলাদেশ এ তাকি.... আমার সমস্যা . . টা হচ্চে আজ তেকে চার বচ্চর আগে... সকালে হাটতে গেলে হঠাৎ আমার বুকে বাম হাতে এবং পিঠে প্রচন্ড ব্যাথা সাথে শরীর দিয়ে প্রচুর ঘাম বের হচ্ছিল... আমি আর হাঁটতে না পারি বসে থাকি পাঁচ মিনিট বসার পর আমার ব্যাথাটা চলে যায়... তারপর আমি মেডিকেলে গেলাম ট্রিটমেন্ট করলাম এক সপ্তার কোন চেঞ্জ হয় নাই। আমি চট্টগ্রাম সিটিতে এসে প্রথম একটা ETT.. করলাম.. ETV positive আসে। পরে ছয় মাসের মতো আমি হার্টের ট্রিটমেন্ট করলাম। কিন্তু আমার কোন পরিবর্তন হয় নাই আমি হাটতে পারিনা কোন কাজ করতে পারিনা... আর আমি ইন্ডিয়াতে গেলাম ইন্ডিয়াতে city এনজিওগ্রাম করলাম রিপোর্ট আসছে একদম normal.... এরপর থেকে cordologist neromadicine... Artopadix... Raimotology.... Madicine spacalist.... অনেক ডাক্তার দেখলাম অনেক টেস্ট করলাম সবকিছু রিপোর্ট নরমাল.... Spine MRI করলাম নরমাল... কিন্তু এখনো আমি কোন কাজকর্ম করতে পারি না সকালে ঘুম থেকে ওঠার সাথে সাথেই হাতের গোড়ায় পিঠে এবং বুকে ব্যাথা শুরু হয়। নিডোকাট স্প্রে... যখন ব্যাথা বেশি লাগে তখন এই স্প্রেটা মারলে একটু ভালো লাগে। এখন আমাকে ডাক্তাররা বলতেছে আবার এনজিওগ্রাম করার জন্য আপনার কাছ থেকে পরামর্শ চাচ্ছি...
