suggestion- buy a 6ft rolling scaffold

Yeah those are a bear to lift. Not just lift but hold a screw as well. Looking good guys! Keep rolling along. To hard to sling those with the bucket and hold them in place eh? Cheers, Mike.
Thanks Mike. We gat smarter as the project rolls on. Use pallet forks to lift the sub floor sheets.

Your off to a good start Tod. It's going to be a great use of the upper space. I was wondering if you are planning to run vertical supports along the pole barn post from the floor to under the laminated ledger to carry some of the weight load. Have good one!
Thanks. As of now, I think we have enough support, depending how much weight we put up there. If you have experience and think I am mistaken, please let me know. 2x10 floor joists going in next.
@@MarquithLegacyAcresI think you should be fine with the amount of fasteners and their shear rating for what I could see. I've learned to build not allowing bolts, nails and screws to carry the weight load as their primary function is to fasten, tie and hold objects together. Personally I would run supports along the existing post for peace of mind so I wouldn't have any future concerns about adding more weight, but that's me.
Man i dont know. 2 by 12s to carry residebtial load usually are at a engineered max of 13 or 14 feet. What did you end up doing?

How are you running 2 by 10s to almost 20 feet? Are you framing out rooms underbeath to act as a length breaker and provide support?
We will be adding framing below. May be putting cart before the horse, but think it will work out. Also went with 16" centers instead of 24". Thanks for reaching out.
