    Dan, thank you for all your FREE videos. So many take advantage of others desperation to get well and charge too much. Keeping it simple, reminding myself I’m safe. My PDP shifts from plantar fasciitis, low back pain, tight lower limb muscle pain, insomnia and chronic fatigue. I keep reminding myself I’m safe and my symptoms are SLOWLY lessening and SLOWLY getting flares further apart. I had symptoms for years, so this is gonna take some time. When I notice a symptom, I talk to myself, “ ok brain, thanks for being alert but we are ok” and within no time that symptom has lessened or shows up in another form, and I tell it, “it’s ok, we are safe. “ I look back and I have had symptoms for 25 years. Because of you and Daniel from sleep coach school, I believe with all my heart that I will be healed soon of ALL PDP and other symptoms.

    Thank you so much Dan! I really appreciate all your daily videos. Honestly, I'm stuck... I still can't believe my symptoms are 100% TMS, I think some are caused by vitamin deficiencies, or foods that I'm still eating. Everyone I know suffer from digestive issues, so it made me ask myself "Everyone have digestive problems, what if it's something wrong with food or water?" Which makes me reinforce the idea that is not TMS. However, when I just enjoy life, and stop being afraid of food (like last Christmas) I felt really good, I ate a lot of "unhealthy" food and I felt good... And also I had chest pain, and once I put myself an injection of B vitamins it disappeared, so that also made me doubt if it all is TMS 😔😔😔

    • @1STBUCKLEY
      @1STBUCKLEY Před 5 měsíci

      An vitamin B injection is not a solution to pain. Have you actually had your levels tested. Unless you have had gastric surgery or have a inherited disease and you eat healthy food , the injection has just calmed your brain, like a placebo. Vitamin B levels once stable and at sufficient levels don't just fall away. Think you're feeding your brain fear. Been down the same route. Of course rule out the nasty stuff. Not sure where you're based, I'm UK. To get a B12 injection on NHS, levels have to be low. Been there, I have trouble digesting certain foods. I didn't take the injection. Every now and then I take a half tablet of a top quality b12 (there are poor quality types available)that melts under my tongue. Solgar cobalamin . Wishing you calm

      I have been reluctant to post this “story.” I’m not sure why, but I now think it might help. I call it the Double Blind Study.
      A couple years ago, I was suffering from symptoms of interstitial cystitis (IC). It still rises to the surface once in a great while, like a backache does for others, when I’m super stressed. However, with the TMS work and a firm sense of knowing, it abated substantially, 98%.
      One of the things about IC is this concept of substances that make symptoms flare. Foods. Sitting positions. Vitamins are a big one- huge flares when I took vitamins.
      Once I discovered TMS-PDP, how’d I prove it to myself? How did I make myself understand that this was TMS? I bought liquid vitamin D, a very typical flare substance for me. I had my husband add vitamin D to my drink at his discretion. He tracked it on a calendar. Meanwhile I tracked my symptoms on a calendar. Neither of us were able to see each other’s calendars (the double blind part). At the end of a time period, I think it was a like eight weeks, we compared our calendars. What we saw astonished me. NO correlation between symptoms and vitamin D ingestion. None.
      I wanted to try the same thing with gluten as I was gluten free at the time, due to IBS. But my husband said, “Aren’t you bored with this? Don’t you know that so much of this is TMS?” So, I just dove in and ate bread with enjoyment. Pure abandon.
      And I never looked back. My life transformed with The Study. And it continues to be a journey of discovery as I uncover all the ways my mindbody has been tricking me for years. Without needing to organize a study around it.
      I hope this helps. Best wishes.

      I was there too. It’s hard to believe it’s your brain, but it is. The quicker you accept that it’s just anxiety and fully rest in knowing that while living your life despite the symptoms the quicker they leave.

    • @mookymookymooo
      @mookymookymooo Před 5 měsíci +15

      You will not believe 100% until your symptoms are gone. You don't need to believe 100%. You just need to take a leap of faith and try going all in on treating it like it's TMS. It's scary because you're worried that you're wrong, and it won't be helping. But are you really risking irreversible damage? The most you're risking, is prolonging your suffering, but you'll still be able to come back to your non-TMS plan if it doesn't work out. So just give it a go. Go all in, for a while. Do everything as if it's TMS. Give the method time to work, and then see if you start to get good feedback from your body that helps you believe easier.
      Make friends with your symptoms. Welcome them. Change your relationship with them so that when you feel them, instead of treating them with aversion and avoidance, treat them like welcome friends. Then your brain will start to get the message that you're not in danger, and in time will be able to turn down its warning signals.

    • @snowps1
      @snowps1 Před 5 měsíci +3

      Do what you know you're supposed to do, eat healthy and exercise, and just live your life. You'll notice that when you're having a pleasant time and not paying attention, your stomach won't hurt, and that's how you know it's not a real issue with your body, but your brain.

      Reading and listening is not a cure. Living your life is not a cure. Teaching safety is the cure. Consciously, you may not be afraid, but the subconscious is still perceiving danger. Being annoyed "as hell"....is that conveying safety or danger? Our response to the pain may not be fear or panic anymore. But we need to move into the unconcerned, disinterested, I'm really okay category. Safety is different than less fear. czcams.com/video/Ez9Ez49M8Ig/video.html

    Look out for me Dan :-)! I was just thinking to myself that I could use the support of other people in the same shoes, without frequenting certain forums and social media groups where I don't feel safe because all people do is catastrophising and making me believe this is a life sentence (I have deleted all of my socials for this reason)! @@galacticwarrior4089That's the best thing to do. Just keep living your life and don't let the back pain stop you. I did physical therapy for 3 months, 3 times a week, for back pain and sciatica. I was even scheduled for a steroid epidural shot on my back, but I stumbled upon these videos and it changed everything. I finished physical therapy and canceled the steroid shot appt. Now I am mostly pain free with a little flare here and there that I just try to talk myself out of it. It happens when I'm really stressed. When I'm having a flare though I'm not scared of it like I used to be. And my MRI showed two bulging discs and an annular tear, but I still had more improvements from these TMS videos than I did from 3 months of physical therapy.

      @PainFreeYou  Před 4 měsíci

      Arthritis is a normal part of aging. As we get older, we all have it. What if the pain is caused by the brain perceiving danger and not the arthritis? Take the assessments to see what is really causing your pain. IsThisPDP.com
      By the way, my mom lives in a senior living home where the average age is 90. She tells me that nobody is walking around complaining about their pains. Yes, they are worried about other health issues and falling and complaining that their kids don't visit enough. But they are not complaining about chronic pain. To me, this means that arthritis doesn't need to hurt.
      The assessment will tell you what is going on with YOUR situation.

      Rike Gr is correct. Substitute your symptom for the word pain. The FIT assessment doesn't mention the word pain.
      Do the FIT assessment below. If you answer yes to even one of the criteria, that is an indicator that your brain creates the pain based on perceived danger. Your body is not the problem.
      FUNCTIONAL:
      -Symptoms begin without physical precipitation
      -Symptoms persist after an injury has healed (3-6 mo)
      -Symptoms are in a distribution pattern that is symmetric
      -Symptoms occur on one whole side of the body or occur on half of the face, head, or torso
      -Symptoms spread over time to different areas of the body
      -Symptoms radiate to the opposite side of the body or down a whole leg or arm
      -Symptoms that occur in many different body parts at the same time
      -Symptoms that have a quality of tingling, electric, burning, numb, hot or cold
      INCONSISTENT:
      -Symptoms shift from one location in the body to another
      -Symptoms are more or less depending on the time of day. Or they occur first thing in the morning or in the middle of the night.
      -Symptoms occur after, but not during, an activity or exercise
      -Symptoms occur when one thinks about them or when someone asks about them.
      -Symptoms occur when stresses increase or one thinks about stressful situations
      -Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent when engaged and joyful or distracting activities, such as when on vacation
      -Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent after some kind of therapy, such as massage, chiropractic, Reiki, acupuncture, an herbal or vitamin supplement
      TRIGGERED:
      -symptoms are triggered by things that are not related to the actual symptoms, such as foods, smells, sounds, light, computer screens, menses, changes in the weather

    I've been suffering nerve pain for years. I've had a multilevel lumbar fusion, kyphoplasty 3 vertebrae and just recently a right SI joint fusion. It has helped with that right sided SI pain however the left side is horrible. Surgery on that in a few weeks. Both legs burn like crazy. Do opiates help? Somewhat....14 years of suffering dt workers comp continuance of denials. My bad habit is holding my breath...I do it unconsciously until it's brought to my attention. If all else fails it may mean pain pump to have any quality of life...sometimes I think I have no brain...70 yr old brain.😒

      Are you aware of the concepts I teach? It seems you are still very much into the medical world. Watch my fast start playlist. Take the assessments in the third video of the playlist. And if it indicates TMS, then apply the concepts in the rest of the videos. DansFastStart.com

      I've found if the pain is TMS and fear based then even the strongest opiates will not touch it. Surgeries help if you believe they will but the pain will just move to another area as you haven't dealt with the underlying issue I.e. the TMS. Your body would have already healed from the surgeries, its just your brain you have to deal with now. It will take work but I believe you can do it. You just need to unlearn all the medical diagnosis and what they say it means. Your body is fine, it's just the mind now.

      I recognize what you have been told is causing the pain. Are you aware of TMS/PDP? Have you taken the assessments to determine if the disc pressing on nerves is the true cause of pain, or if the brain perceiving danger is the true cause. My fast start playlist could be very beneficial even if you do decide to pursue that surgery. DansFastStart.com Assessment: IsThisPDP.com

      Well I took test and scored 20.
      At this time my pain is due to displacement of my SI joints. That pain is very very debilating. In December I had the right side done which resolved the pain however the horrific pain remains on my left side. I'm currently undergoing an epidural on the left and if it decreases the level then I'll have a fusion on that side as well. I have an old nurses back as what my Dr's have stated and I do agree.
