I've been to Mexico & Panama, but nothing in between. Your videos really show us how special this area is. How fantastic to be able to see so much unusual wildlife right at the lodge! The red-eyed frogs!

@@NaickKim well… we have had a pretty mild winter so far but a storm of 15-25 cm of snow coming our way for tomorrow (Sunday). No thawing for us until May…. Probably. We will just stay warm watching you guys enjoy your adventures. Take care… big hugs.🥰

Family visited Nica through break. Clean, people look after their country. The food is great and very well priced. The beaches along the coast are very beautiful, with very little people.
Our border crossing wasn't as long as we walked through. Rented a vehicle, which is a must.
Glad there are people like them that do all the traveling. I would never go to a place with all those crazy creatures. They put a lot of time in to filming and editing.

Hahahaha. The tarantula's were probably the creepiest. Although that really fast spider in the cabin was a highlight as well. Very close encounters though :D

Depends on what you're looking for. Costa Rica has a bit more modern amenities and is probably a bit more stable. Nicaragua is waaaayyy cheaper though.

Hey guys what you ate in el Parque Central is tipical dish el Vigoron. They say that if you visit Granada you must try el vigoron otherwise its like you never went there..Great video i thought i was watching a documental series in Nicaragua. YES I have, thank you! I ended up being sick for close to 2 weeks and we only requested a 1 month visa when we entered Nicaragua so we did some serious exploring after that :D the next video is going to be great!

I love Granada, It's very historic and definitely charming, but I think I will give the title of Central America's most beautiful city to Antigua, Guatemala. Having said that, if I were given the option where to live, I would choose Granada.

The one on the night walk was a chameleon, indeed we saw a basilisk iguana the next day at the conservation center :)

Your little visitor was a tailless whip scorpion...not a spider, not a scorpion. I have one as a pet. It eats crickets. They don't bite or sting. Glad you didn't kill it!
Yeah we found out they aren't harmful after. I personally wouldn't keep one as a pet though :D

Would you please be so kind to share your thoughts on safety in Nicaragua? We’ve travelled to several other south and Central American countries and didn’t worry to much , but I am reading some articles that make me slightly concerned.
We felt very safe there. People were very kind and very welcoming to us in general. Didn't feel unsafe for a moment. We spend a month there
Of course, like any other Central American country you need to keep your wits about you.
I've read that the crime rate is actually pretty low in Nicaragua.

We crossed at the land border. They asked how many cameras we had and counted them. I think you are allowed two per person.
They didn't give us a hard time about it really.
They did about our drone controller (we had shipped our drone to the next country).
I would love to know how much it costs $ to hike around the volcano in the cloud forest?(Per Person Cost) How much does it cost for a night in the small cabin? I love the nature. ❤🐒
The cabin was about 60ish USD. Highly recommend it.

Eso de pasado violento es tonto, porque peores situaciones conflictivas han pasado otros países y siempre los visitan y no dicen eso o piensan en pasado disque violento, hay países que viven en constantes guerras y aún así los visitan como si nada. La gente de este mundo son locas. Nicaragua es hermoso, quien no viene es porque no quiere, porque acá en Nicaragua hay cosas mucho más baratas y lugares más hermosos que muchos países, pero deciden obviarlo por locuras.

You should have caught the spider in a cup and then placed it outside.
Agreed that that would have been better for the spider but it was very fast, had ‘claws’ (scorpion) and we didn’t know it wasn’t poisonous at the time. We’ll call you next time 😉
