Here we are 15 years later and still the best stage performance in history of Eurovision. Their perfect unision during dancing is simply out of this world.
As a Greek person deeply in love with this song+dance+singer from back then, I am still watching this in November 2023 while I have stopped watching the Eurov. Song Contest roughly a decade ago.
As a hungarian who doesn’t really enjoy hungarian songs, this song has my heart. I get goosebumps everytime I hear it. Everything about this is just eternal.
you should be really proud of this song and your culture. recently discovered this song myself and it's been on constant repeat the past few days. love from Sweden
I remember when I was in the Army, back in 2008, I had a couple of Hungarian fellow soldiers and I've literally forced them, over and over again, to teach me the words of this song, pronounciation, meaning... I think they still suffer from that annoying experience. :D Great times. Great song. Great guys. Poor guys... :-)
This makes me so proud to be from a region that is so rich with culture and tradition. Bravo Hungary, what an entry ❤ please come back neighbours, love from Slovenia 🇸🇮 ❤🇭🇺
What makes this performance even more amazing is the fact that it is well known fact that Hungarian dances, includin csardas and many other traditional Hungarian dances, are well known as very fast and extremely difficult to learn dances.
it’s not difficult. u just need someone to show u. steps and moves. then u can pick up the speed. with someone who has the🔥rhythm in their blood ❤💃🏼. it makes u fly 💫
2005 год- прекрасные конкурсанты. Музыка- давала столько энергии, что кассету с этими песнями затерла до дыр и прокачивалась на большие свершения!!! САМЫЕ =САМЫЕ!
I am Hungarian and this contest was the first time I watched Eurovision, I was a little kid when they competed. I remember I thought they were going to win :D Now watching back years later this is still as amazing as it was then.
For me the ESC should have songs like this, I don't say that as a hungarian, but if there are performers from the european countries why they don't send songs with national/traditional meanings? I mean this song also has hungarian folk effects, you can see by the dance choreography and the music instrumental as well, so I am just curious about why there are so many "summer hits" instead of the traditional/national music?
T. Fannie Because Eurovision lost its original meaning. It's no longer the contest promoting different languages and cultures. Now it is about a lot of English-language pop songs, typical radio hits, but every year there are few songs which are different than others. Unfortunately, they usually don't do well at the contest.
MrRavLP I think it's good to have diversity. Pop, rock, country, folk, (yodeling!!???), etc. A bossa nova song won this year and Origo did pretty well.
The name it was " NOX " but they are not togheter anymore.(.from 2002 to 2009 )...the girl name is Péter Szabó Szilvia..the danser are the "Real Action " grupp and this grupp winn 2013 Britain`s Got Talent.. the guy name is Szücs Zoltán...and the singer girl is a danser too
I remember watching ESC 2005 and thinking it was one of the best years ever. There were so many great songs, I couldn't even pick one as favourite, and I always do. What a great year that was. It was probably the best ESC show, ever since I started watching it. And the Hungarian entry was up there among the best of the best.
This song opened the grand final of 2005. This song has the best opening music, so this contest has the best 'opening of the participating songs' in general.
Without a doubt, the best Hungarian entry ever! After 13 years, I still can't believe this didn't win. I remember how delighted I was when it got chosen to represent Hungary in Kiev, as I loved it the first time I heard it. After it got chosen, I must have listened to it at least a dozen times. I was very pleased that it was performed entirely in Hungarian, which I think is a beautiful language. I really liked what NOX, the 2005 Hungarian entry, said at the time: "This is the Eurovision Song Contest, and Hungary will perform in Hungarian. There is no need to perform in English. " Szép munka, Magyarország! 🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺 Take note, EBU!
How did this get 12th??! 30 seconds in, and I'm already captivated. I mean My Number One is an amazing song and a Eurovision classic, but this is incredible
10 points from Greece!!! It had to be in top 7!!!Great performance, gorgeous girl and vocals, the best Hungarian entry but so underrated !!!! We Love Hungary!!!
I honestly have not seen a Eurovision performance as grand as this one. Nox is a very talented group, so much so that I'm still listening and watching more than 10 years later. It's sad to see Eurovision lose its culture and traditions from representing the different countries, nowadays.
After 16 years, I must say this the most intense and super lively opener of all time in Eurovision. That ethnic beat, the tap dancing, sang in a native language, musically lit and though the lead singer's vocal is not as strong, it gives a mellow flow to the song. Go Magyar! 🇭🇺
I can't believe it's been 12 years since this contest! I LOVE this entry! Full of rhythm and LIFE. I think the dancers gave it an ethnic edge that I really appreciated. This song makes me want to go to Hungary.
This was the first song I ever watched at Eurovision. I was 7. I instantly knew there was something special about this, and I watched until the latest before my parents said “it’s definitely your bedtime now”. Easy to see how I became a superfan.

I admire the stamina of those men. 3 minutes of VERY active coreography and not a moment out of coordination or lagging. This deserved so much better if not win. I'd like to think that Forogj Vilag would have a top 3 place today or in the 90s because that's the only way I can find solace with the outcome of 2005.
Can we just acknowledge this performance would be easely top 5 today?

One of the best song, there in the top with Kaliopi.
We’ll never see a better mixage of folk and dance pop like forogj világ
Well said, bro!
The chorus could have been stronger though.
Wow, a lot of power!
