  • So I finally finished up the little blaster! Set the Fuel Air Screw 1 1/2 turns out and fin tune from that. This bike has an aftermarket exhaust so that's what made it happy, if your bike is all stock 2 turns out is probably a better starting point.

    My blaster was running really good recently, and out of nowhere I started having major problems with it running for more than 10 seconds. And there was no build up of bad things happening. It just started doing this one day I went out to ride it. Now I can't figure it out. And I'm wondering if this is what I need to do. It will run with the choke all the way on, and then it'll start to stall out. Won't move more than 5 feet before it stalls. And if I try to drop the choke down 1 notch it'll stall immediately. Need help bad please. My daughter loves when we ride it together and it's breaking my heart having to tell her I still haven't been able to fix it

      I would start with going through the carburetor and next I would check the Killswitch and your grounds. If it’s still giving you issues it could be the crank seals.

      Turn the air screw fuel one and a half turns out, make sure to raise the idle so it doesn’t die then slowly turn the air fuel screw in or out, The idle will go up then back off just a wee bit and adjust the idle down to normal it should run great.

    • @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles
      @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles  Před rokem

      I would try cleaning where the float needle is first and if that doesn’t work, you can replace the float needle. It only takes a little piece of dirt to get in there and the car will leak.

    What is that little plastic piece that wasn’t in the hole the right way when u took bottom of carb off mine has been bogging down and I opened carb to clean everything and that plastic yellow little piece isn’t even there lol but I can’t find it to order one no idea what it’s called thanks man

    • @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles
      @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles  Před 4 lety +1

      So that plastic piece is mainly to keep the Jets getting fuel when the carburetor is getting jerked around... I guess you would say it’s anti-splash

    • @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles
      @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles  Před 4 lety

      David Blum I would buy a jet kit with multiple sizes and you can play around (go up one size at a time) with it elevation has a lot to do with jetting.

    • @davidblum_
      @davidblum_ Před 4 lety

      I know but the ones with different sizes is like 30$ and that’s not in my budget do you think I’ll be fine if I buy a 300 main jet?

  • @jamestownsendjrtbees3226

    My blaster carburetor looks just like yours but mine doesn't have the little pin in the barrel that aligns the throttle tube and keeps it in position? Is this normal and can I fix that? Also what thread size jets does yours take? I bought a jet kit and the new threads are just a bit to big? Thanks for the videos.

    Hey I have a blaster and I’ll turn it on with the choke and it revs fine but I warmed it up and turned it on with no choke and it revs to the moon and I put it in first gear and let go off the clutch and it didn’t even stall out what could it be?

    • @sm3199

      Sticky cable or the slid in the carb isnt closing or sucking air

      @MasonGeorgeMotorcycles  Před 4 lety

      David Blum No way! That Tors system is the worst! The previous video to this one that’s what I had to fix to get the electrical is working but it wasn’t revving like crazy. Glad you got it fixed🤙

    • @davidblum_
      @davidblum_ Před 4 lety +1

      Mason George Motorcycles it’s actually super easy to remove my mechanic tought me how to do it all you have to do is cut the 2 electrical wires that are on the carbuerator and you put them together with electrical tape and that’s how you remove the tors some people do a long processed but it works the way I did it
