@Josue Gonzalez your welcome.
Working on my 06 blaster! This video is great! My blaster been sitting for over 4 years so my carb is deff in need of this service! Thanks Built To Run for the detailed video! ❤
You’re welcome, glad I could help.
I appreciate the video man. Was my first time rebuilding my blasters carb. Basically I did it step by step with ya. Lol Definitely got a new sub. Thanks
Glad I can help. Thanks for supporting me means a lot to me.
Nice detailed explanation👍🏻
Thanks for uploading! Very informative!
Thanks man that was really helpful
Awesome glad I could help please like and subscribe thanks
Nice video, just a couple things. Stock air screw setting is 1.5 turns out not 2.5
There is also an air jet in the top of the venturi when looking at it from the air filter side. It's similar to the pilot jet and worth taking out to make sure it's clean. Also the jets are brass, not bronze. You should also verify proper float height while it's apart.
Thanks for the tips.
Great video!
Thanks.

Hey man I have an 03 blaster 200 bought it off a guy who says it has a top end rebuild kit I have only road it down the road and back and it seems every gear right before the powerband kicks in it cuts out wants to shut off unless I pump the throttle. Any ideas on this? I’ve took the carb off cleaned it also did an oil injection blockage kit so I could pre mix my gas it still keeps bogging out right before the powerband and when it does kick it it’ll just wanna shut off can’t seem to find the problem
Still sounds like carb issues or needs a need spark plug.
Any tips for putting the throttle cable back on with the spring and clip? I can’t seem to figure out how to get the thing back together
Works best when you use needle nose pliers, pinch on the cable and compress the spring and now you have more cable length and now it’s easier To install the metal clip.
My blaster won’t start for some reason the gas isn’t getting in and it’s on and the hoses are clean and the floats are fine? Any help
You might have to clean out the carburetor the float might be stuck also make sure you have spark and a clean air filter and some fresh gas and a good new spark plug.
The wires you cut…. What was it to? I just got one of these and I don’t know what that other part is that comes off with the carburetor.
That was the Tori’s stuff it’s basically a safe thing that tend to cause lots of problems down the road. So I just delete it. Please like and subscribe.
Hey man nice video! Do you know what that thing is that you screw the main jet into? I’m having trouble tracking one down. As you state in the video they don’t come in carb rebuild kits. I bought new jets for my blaster and on they won’t screw into that piece because the new jets have a bit bigger threading. The jet that was in there when I got it was a cheap Chinese jet. Thank you!
No I don’t unless up buy a parts carb.
That unit that attaches to the carb on top, the tors unit. It has a big screw on top of it that you can adjust. How far in or out should it be? I see it can turn waaaay in or waaaay out and it changes the length of the throttle or something?
I’m not exactly sure but it works like a idling screw so once you start it, it will help you set the idle on the quad.
Great video, but voice break 10.57
What's the scrow on top for were you cut the wires off
Sets idle.
I was wondering if you seat the fuel pilot all the at the bottom when you installed it
Yes all the way to the bottom.

Thx a lot for the video. Very usefull!
I got a question. Can i reassemble the carburetor without the washer under the main jet? Because i lost it!
Glad you like the video.. You could assemble without washer but it could perform worse. You’ll have to do some adjustments.
@@BTR2018 okay. Well, I'm going to try it that way and if it's not good then I'll get one of those washers. Thx again!!
Ezequiel Lorenzo:
Yeah for sure you never know unless you try it out, let me know how it works out:))
@@ezequiellorenzo6080 how did IT work with out the washer??
where you set the fuel-air mixture because there are screws in other gas carriers
??
Hi! I am wondering what the little clip is called that holds the throttle cable in place where the spring seats down in?? If you could let me know I would really appreciate it!
I call it c-clip.
It's called a cir-clip or c-clip
I am having trouble getting the grommet out that the float needle sits in tried pliers buts its not budging. Any ideas?
If you still haven’t figured it out, I had to spray a ton of carb cleaner as much as I could around the seams and then used needle nose pliers
Let it sit in some wd40.
is this The stock carb? just bought a blaster with a fmf pipe and a carb like this. Having a problem whenever i start the bike it revs really high and then when i kill the bike gas comes out the overflow. I think it is the float needle because when i took it apart before it was already warn. Ordered a new one hopefully it fixes it.
what do you think is wrong with it?
august gudaitis; yes this is the stock carb. Yes sounds like a carb issue. Need to adjust the float so that it won’t leak through the over flow..
Mine idled super low when i got it and the idle screw didnt too anything to the idl when turned either direction
ethan bassett; make sure carb is super clean.
Built To Run ordered a new one should be coming today👌🏽 but now my throttle cable is sticking
I have a yamaha blaster with a fmf gold series pipe on it what jetting should I use? -please help👍
I would go with a 260 or 270 jet.
Okay
Hey man I have a Yamaha blaster with an lrd racing exhaust and boyesen power reeds which main jet should i get?
I would start with a 270 or a 280 main jet. Make sure to do a plug chop.
Built To Run yeah I ordered a 280
Ah okay, so the stock carburetor should be a Mikuni (I was looking for confirmation). I recently bought an 01 Blaster with a mystery, no-name carb on it. The jets aren't labeled with sizes. Do your OEM jets have size numbers on them?
Yes they are marked. Main jet is a 230. Pilot jet I believe is a 32.5.
yes, oem jets are marked
Tengo un Blaster 200cc 2007 El problema es que aceleró y este no revoluciona, en baja se queda bien, cómo en el vídeo pero no acelera nada. alguien sabrá que puede ser? ya limpie el carburador y probé otro es 2007 help help

Where’d you get the kit?
TepusLawnCare:
I got it off on eBay.
i have a yamaha blaster, was unused during many years, i was trying to turn on i clean the carburator but it seems like i miss some hoses, can you load a picture of how and from where to where are coneccted all the hoses ( i can see just three ), i can share with you my email. thanks
Is your blaster oil deleted and you pre mix the gas?
@@BTR2018 If so,,can I use a 4stroke carb on my 200 blaster ????
Hay why dit you cat the whers
D.G D.G:
The reason why I cut the wires is because it creates a problem it’s more of a safety feature for kids and stuff later down the road they can cause problems from not starting it’s just a safety thing for not to over rev.
Hey good video. Can you put a link to the rebuild kit on here ?
