Hope you’re still hanging in there. During my Chemo the best I could do was sit and listen, fearing that I’d never being able to play again. This performance is so heartbreakingly beautiful that it is able to take away the sorrow for a while, leaving peace, a smile, and healing. At least for a while.

I live in Melbourne Australia and I had never heard of Tedeschi Trucks Band but three weeks ago I was looking up just general music and with a lot of luck I found Tedeschi Trucks Band ,I have hardly stopped listening to them ,they have soul sound and the singing of Susan is words cant describe and the guitar playing of Derik is brilliant.
How lucky was I to find them?

in my opinion Derek Trucks is the best guitar of the new century, maybe even the last!!!!!!! he learned from all the greats and improved on them all, you go Derek. i have watched you, your dad, and the allman brothers for a long time. beacon theater 2003 OMG, fantastic. he closes his eyes, lovingly touches the strings, and creates beauty.

Derek and Susan really hit their stride with this group. Great musicians playing INCREDIBLE songs. Quite a rarity these days.

A band is great when you have a singular, unmistakable talent. When you have more than one, you go to a whole other level. That voice and that guitar put this group in the stratosphere. Wow.

This video was my introduction to Tedeschi Trucks Band. I was floored, literally. I held onto the carpet for dear life. That note she hit at 4:11 is unreal!
How Derek transposes Susan's voice into his riffs and solo's is nothing short of amazing. Only a master guitarist can do that. Also Derek's fingerstyle playing is the way I play too. Just cant for some reason get used to a plec, as I initially started guitar with finger style. Can only aspire to play that well. Stunning voice Susan, such a beautiful, rich tone and totally unaffected by other other vocalists.

Man when Derek starts sliding along to Susan belting out the words "why" I instantly smile. Could listen to that all day. This song is a perfect example of how amazing this band is.

I watch this video regularly. The whole band is amazing Susan’s vocals are awesome but special props go to the drummers. The percussion on the tract is awesome.

Hard to believe, as was mentioned, that many people have never heard this band. Being a huge ABB fan (if you don't know never mind) from the 70s ive been aware of Derek for years. Watching him grow up a get better and better, he was great in early teens, has been amazing. Anyone not knowing about this band has missed some of the best music produced, all by the way done by Derek production wise, in our time. Unfortunately, if you don't know of them you've missed out on Warren Haynes and G'Mule as well. And the fabulous new grouping carrying on the Alman Bros traditional southern rock greatness. What a shame. Thanks Warren, Derek, Susan and do many others I can't begin to mention them all. You've given us many extra years of the Alman Brothers Band then we would have been allowed to cherish without you. A million thanks are not enough. 😊😊😊☮️☮️😊😊

This band is brilliant. They meld so well. The two drummers suit this band and they are so good together. Had them pleasure of seeing them live twice on successive days. Don't think they played the same song twice . That's 3.5 hrs . Absolutely brilliant.

What a jam! Derek's slide matching Susan's voice is amazing
Fantastic. They give this song a whole other reading than the original version. Just dripping with soul. Notice that Derek starts out with his left hand picking out the chords with his fingers. At 2:40, you can see him quickly reaching for his pocket and seamlessly switching to the slide. His guitar starts to 'sing' the melody, in effect playing a duet with his wife's voice. The man is a master of his instrument.

What a really together band with the Blues vibe I really crave, as there aren't enough bands with this kind of feel. Love the band and what they can turn into a great feel good song. Brian Buckley - It's so weird that most people I talk with have never heard of The Tedeschi Trucks Band yet, they _always_ sell out their venues.
Seth Meister I've been a pretty big fan since about 2007. Drove the Coquihalla quite a bit. Sirius Blues channel played a lot of Susan's music. A beautiful voice and hubby Derek is great, especially on slide.
Best damn slide guitarist alive today.

Amazing vocals with more soul than I have heard in a long time! many of my favorite play along with songs! Just feel-good music. Period! My friend Jimmy Hawkins Knows Derek and told me he knew he would do well in the music industry back in the 90's at the Caribbean Club in Key Largo where he first heard Derick.

I never knew anything about this band, and I feel like I lost a good part of my life. I "discovered" them on AXS TV one Sunday morning. And, I cannot get enough of Susan's voice. Derek is an amazing guitarist.
