Who’s here in 2024?
Me, Tucson Az 🏜️🙏🎸🎤🧑🦳
Midnight in Belgium over here. I'll probably be here April 2025 as well
This is my favorite version of this incredible song. I come often. That solo feeds my soul.
Me,love them
Present Mesa Az
This is the most soul healing music I have every heard in my life. I am battling with Cancer. I believe that I am winning my current battle. This group is perfect in the sense that it helps my soul heal, as well as my mind. Thank you for the restoration.
So glad to hear that, Merilee... thanks for listening
This is the healing we all need now.
Good luck and God bless!
My true realistic prayers are with you.... Godspeed on your recovery. (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
Glad you joined me in this enjoyment
I really don't think it's possible to get tired of this song.
Agreed
So Freekin cool! C’mon
Me neither, lol ! 😅
Agreed. A favorite in my 70+ yrs on earth.
This song just feeds the soul. Incredibly soothing. Heals the Heart. Makes me wish it would just go on and on.
Never want it to end.
Thumbs up for the sound engineer
Their sound engineer is the coolest dude ever, Bobby Tis. He does a backstage experience before shows where he lets you see all the gear and how he operates. He’s a legend, he’s recorded the Allman Brothers and the likes of Levon Helm as well.
I'm convinced this song is some sort of magic.
Absolutely!!
You're 100% correct
Only from an old Egyptian town. NO WORRIES.
You speak a great truth! We are so very lucky!!
Lindsey, your taste of music is impeccable❤️
Susan's voice on this song freaking blows my 70 year old mind and yes tears
사랑합니다.당신을 응원 합니다. 한국에서
Yep
I'm 59 I love this song😅
Agree 👍
She sounds like Bonnie Rate great rendition
Nobody plays like Derek. That man is incredible.
He is the best slide player out there 👍👍👍
So is Susan
Music without ego. These musicians take us to a place we all should be.
Well said
Indeed sir!
So we'll said
Yes. Another band without ego: Gov't Mule
Commander - Same family essentially...
Grandpa loved this song. Neither of us knew that the other knew this song until one day we were driving together in my car one summmer night and it randomly came on from my playlist. Grandpa was like, “I LOVE THIS SONG.” And turned it up. I was like “ME TOO!” We had a little moment of singing together and then I realized that he was tearing up because he was so in love with the fact that the two are married. Grandpa was never afraid to show emotion.
RIP grandpa.
I haven't seen anyone comment on this, but this performance has the greatest live mix I think I've ever listened to. It's a band with two drummers, organ, multiple guitars, horns, and backup singers and you can still every single distinct part in the song if you try. I have no idea who's behind the soundboard, but they deserve a raise.
Agreed
yes indeed. it never gets old either .
This x 1000, stunning job!
Yes sir the guy working the soundboard did a phenomenal job! As you commented you hear every little sound no one overpowering each other! Smoother than 100 year old bourbon.
Exactly my take on them, also ❤Derek and Susan are following in the footsteps of the Allman's, B.B . King,And everyone who has tried they're hand at playing blues and World music ❤
I've listened to all the versions of this song that I could find on CZcams. This is the cream of the crop.
Yep. The 2010 Crossroads festival is close but not this good.
Agreed….ive searched too. Imagine our favorite live songs that were not recorded. We are blessed this was
Absolutely to all of your comments, THIS version is absolutely Amazing 🎸🎶❤️🎸🎶🎸🎹🎶🎸
Absolutely agree jan
Absolutely agree 🎸🎶🎸
I don’t know how I got here, And I’ve never heard this band before, But this is my 11th time back here today. Her voice is mesmerizing, and his playing is not of this world. The universe was working in my favor tonight.
On to everything I can possibly find by these incredible people.
And how are you today?
Would you believe they’re married!!! Crazy right!! God is good
I feel ya. If I hear it once, I gotta hear it a dozen times. These two have magic.
Derek Trucks is the nephew of Butch Trucks, drummer for the Allman Brothers Band. Derek was listed as #16 in the Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Guitarists in 2015. He was only 36 at the time. Truly a talented young man.
Well-said, Witchsabbath13 !!
This is flawless. What occurred to me after many viewings is that every single member of this large ensemble does something vital to the song: the background singers, the horn arrangement, both drummers...Derek and Susan are amazing, but remove a single person from this performance and it's going to diminish the whole by a lot. That's a sign of a tight band and a fantastic arrangement. Just in awe of the talent displayed here...
Well stated.
Agreed. Apparently they play as a family. I heard they did their best to carry the band through the shutdown. The particular lineup in this song just blows me away. In addition to T&T, Mike Mattison (backup singer with the acoustic guitar) writes a huge percentage of the band's original material, not to mention one of the most musical set of brothers to come down the line since the Marsalis family, Oteil and Kofi (R.I.P.) Burbridge. Oteil and Derek played together for years in the ABB, and Kofi's contribution is huge - I often listen to this piece just for Kofi's parts. Ephraim Owens on the horn! This group loves what they are doing and each other, evidenced in the fact that they are constantly aware of their complete sound - they friggin' listen to each other, a rare treat. Yet this recording has more going on that needs to be considered. Let me say I'm an award winning sound mixer, and I've also been live as a programmer/DJ on radio. Performing live in front of an audience allows that immediate psychic feedback, and when that's working everything is even better. That night the band wasn't just playing to the people in the venue, they were live on the air, seriously increasing the quantity of positive psychic feedback! Wish I'd been there! But we do have this recording, and it is superb. Having been mixed for radio, with a limited dynamic range, it fits well in the 'godforsakenyoutubestream' and is so finely crafted that one can listen to this recording at serious volume on a decent stereo or pro headphones, without wincing. My last comment is totally DT. I've followed him for years, and have non published recordings of him jamming with everyone. He just gets better. He took the time to study raga with Ali Akbar Kahn, a classical Indian music master and stringed instrument virtuoso. Kahn, through his friendship with world beat percussion master Mickey Hart, moved to Santa Rosa and set up a school. Indian music has studied the way tonal relationships affect the human being, regardless of race, language or upbringing, for over a thousand years. Few musicians in the blues/rock world have gone that far in their education... All of these factors are at play in the eTown recording. Need this at least four times a week for the past year and a half.....
Yes
Best Band Ever!!!
When a person as supremely talented as Mattison is content to be in the backround for the sake of the band you know it's something special.
My wife lost her three year battle with cancer, but music was the one thing that carried her through it to the end.
The slide solo is one of the best things that ever did happen.
Ever in life.....
Derek’s solo literally made me cry. His playing is pure emotion and I’ve never heard anything else like it. He is an absolute legend
Yes he is legend
He came of age surrounded by people with amazing talent to play and tell their stories , some by family relatives, others by routine exposure to genius...it does rub off... this is why it’s so heartbreaking to see young kids get exposed only to whatever gets played on the radio. nothing else.
Never doubt the power or importance of good music to young kids, you make be looking at the next Tedeshi Trucks band
Truly a gift, he is.
Absolutely.
Wiping tears with ya bro. Then Susan’s voice added in... brilliant
Does anyone else get chills during Derek’s solo? Such an incredible group of musicians.
Everytime! His phrases are like a vocalist’s
YESSSSSS
Absolutely My Dear 💕💕💕
Sometimes Tears
Yep and tears as well
I've been a musician my entire life, played in many bands, saw most of the greats but something about this version of this song kicks my ass evertime. Simply beautiful ...
👍 Me too! I’m 67 and was a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, but I really ❤️ ALL genres of music. While I haven’t ever played in a band like you, I too have seen many of the ‘greats’ perform live. But there’s something about THIS one that gets to me every single time I watch the video or listen to them playing it, which BTW is more than once a day❗️I must have been in a music ‘coma’ bc I only just discovered them within the past several months, and now I’m going to their concert in a couple months!
This one got me hooked on TTB. Between this and Don't Drift Away (the live from the Fox version) they became my favorite band.
Nice compliment to this band ....just recently discovered them. Kick ass band!
Same here regarding my life history and this tune. This is most likely the best band in the business today. I can't get enough.
Yes!just *Awesome* Flint Michigan
Where is the love button?!
Badly needed here!
We must remember how much beauty there is in these strange and uncertain times. This band proves it.
Just discovered this group toddy, fell hard. My soul drank it in, like water in the desert. Beautiful, healing music!
Real Talent Is Obvious Not Fake...
This fills my tank
Nicely put brother...be well & be blessed
David Horton's sure got that right. What a voice what a great band. Take care David be safe.
This song breaks your heart and mends it all at once.
Beautiful. So well put
I like that.
Perfectly put. Thank you.
You made me cry with that comment. Agree.
I agree exactly what I was thinking. 🎤🎧🎄
I've heard this a ton of times and surprised myself by suddenly breaking out in tears at Derek's solo today. This band is as good as music gets.
I have had this exact experience today. I found myself in tears at the sheer emotion of that whole solo as it built up with the tension and the excruciatingly beautiful background vocals. I'm never not going to love this song and this band.
Aa
@@whiteybirdwhitey you righty 😢👌✌️
I know the song, the band, the music….as good as it gets.
Has to be one of the most talented group of people assembled to play music!
This song hit me in my broken spirit. I am a recovering alcoholic and sometimes I feel like there are moments i am still paying for mistakes. 42 years.
A hard-won victory is still a victory amigo
Keep listing, keep savoring the music and let it help heal you. You've got this.
Here’s something to think about. You spent 42 years paying for your mistakes. There’s no point in paying for them for one more second.
Your mistakes brought you to recovery and a brighter future. Now you’re free to do as you please, and you can’t live your present life if you’re still living in your past.
Forgiveness and losing self judgement is the freedom to live in peace. Believe in yourself.
These words are what I tell myself when I feel judgemental or hurt by my past. It’s okay to move on.
You’ve paid your dues. You don’t belong in soul prison.
I’m right here with you. 46 years
Forgive yourself ✨the hardest part but the most crucial ☀️
I have watched this live version countless times for years. No other live performance has ever hit me this hard. This is as perfect a song as I’ve ever heard.
I wholeheartedly agree friend.
How about
davild gilmour - then i closed my eyes ft. Robert wyatt
Not the usual chords, that means much.
Agreed!!
Yes. I come back again and again.
This is Pre Covid music...who is digging this Sept. 1 2020....
If you are a lover of good music you are...a good mixed of Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, Janis Joplin...and guitar player. Well he reminds me a bit of SRV.
the 7th..but yah... Did ya catch the bit o Little Martha in the intro?
Still some old hippies around...
Checking this out again - Just as good as ever. Hope to see them at Red Rocks next summer, along with St. Paul & the Broken Bones scheduled on the same bill.
10/13/2020 and for like the 50th time this year. ;-)
Just listened to this for about the hundredth time...all I can say is "Thank God for ears, and thank God I was born in a time when such amazing beauty and excellence could be captured." I am grateful these moments here are part of my life...
Thank God if there is one, or many. Thank them.
When I used to bartend, there was an old timer who was pretty picky about his music, had a ton of knowledge about bands and used to pretty much stick to the same stuff on the jukebox. I played this song one time and he was like, "Who the heck are these people!?" After that, literally every time he would be in the zone, feeling the love and fairly buzzed, he would ask me to pull up this song as he was slightly illiterate so searching on the jukebox was difficult for him. This song has all kinds of love to share, make sure you soak it in when you listen :)
I love music - all kinds of music. I've watched this video more than any on CZcams. It is truly at the top of my all-time list. There are several reasons I listen to it often and never tire of it. First of all, it is a masterpiece. In my 79 years I cannot remember a tighter, more moving live performance. The vocals, the lyrics, the melody, the instruments, the arrangement, every nuance of this performance, well, it is a clinic in musicianship. Timeless and cuts across so many genres. Anyone who doesn't get chills and say "Wow" at the end.... just wasn't listening.
Word Brother
I fell in love with it the first time I heard it
If they (NOT me!) don’t get chills and say ‘wow’ after listening to this, maybe it’s also bc they have NO appreciation for GREAT MUSIC❗️
SOMEONE RECIEVED SOME INSPIRATION WHEN WRITING THIS ......AND THEY ARE SO YOUNG !
Wow.... You said it perfectly... Chills.... ❤😊❤
You have been away from home way too long, as you get nearer and nearer to your home the old familiar sights and sounds greet you and your excitement grows. Riding in the car with one hand out the window you can no longer contain your excitement and you shout as you round the last turn onto your street tears of joy roll down your face, you see family and friends standing in the yard.
You’re finally home.
I only wish.
I said before ( it didn't make the cut) I saw Greg Allman at a barn party in bama when i was 15 .i love this music, I'm 64 now and the TTB is the last dream alive.
Thank you.
Just watched this for the 1000th time. And got goosebumps for the 1000th time.
Shaking my head at this incredible soulful performance. Derek Trucks is on a whole different level of guitar playing. And Susan Tedeschi's voice is beyond soulful.
May peace be with you John P Noble Jr. I don't know you, but I feel as if I do:)
John P. Noble Jr. Love you John
I love them so much.
You feel like your walking with her down that street
feels like the whole world is like this
Have you ever had that moment when you discover a song and its literally a piece of heaven , this is it
amen
I've been aware of Derek Trucks for years but not his guitar playing style. This is the first Tedeschi Trucks song that I stumbled upon here on you tube. What a gem! I can't seem to get enough of it. Fabulous! A new fan...
@@timjones7547 ditto ditto ditto. & i'm crying again.
Many times.
After this song I can't go to sleep to not miss anything more in my life.
The entire song gives me chills. It settles my mind, body and soul. No matter what is going on in my life, I can listen to this song and I know everything is going to be OK.
It is okay
what a woman! Wife, mother, homemaker, business owner/operator, professional musician, world class singer, blossoming lead guitarist, and beautiful. Not a trace of the effort it takes to be her. GOOD HEARTED. Whew.
You know the feeling when It's cold outside, the air feels brisk and a little sharp on your face, the wind picks up and you feel the cold increase but your wearing a great warm jacket that hold you and hugs you, keeps the warmth in and you feel like everything is OK. That's what this song is. There is tension, a little danger but a calm warm feeling like you are taken care of. Thanks for the wonderful music
Great description. Engineer brains are amazing.
Magical Brian.. just magical words…
incredible.
Agree!!!
Really beautiful description Brian!
If Susan's voice and Derek's slide don't bring even the hint of tear to your eye, you may want to get yourself checked. Soul coma is real, and it strikes many. Seek peace, find love.
@Satanic Majesty i named my guitar in honor of her.
@Satanic Majesty Thanks brother, make that "thanks sister "
@Satanic Majesty I appreciate the polite correction. 26 wow, my guitar and I were both adults when you were born. Sue is a '61 J45
Beautiful words of a beautiful soul.
Go Cubs Go, Go Cubs Go , hey hey what'ya say? This Cubs are going to win today!!!
I was listening to the Allman Brothers about a year ago, and the CZcams algorithm introduced me to this band. I can't believe I'd never heard of them before. I can't stop listening to this. It's a spiritual awakening. Her soulful voice, his amazing guitar, the band playing in unison, and they are all smiling....simply out of this world. Thank you, CZcams, for bringing me here!
same happened to me .Such talent , and her way with music is soothing to my soul
Funny, this band wold never have happened without the Allman Bros.
Guess who was opening for the Bros and met their young guitar player...and the rest is history...
Amazing,Agree!
You should get out more.
@@JamesAllmond Listen to Clapton' stuff with Derek on one side and Little Doyle Brahmhall on the other.Even Clapton was impressed. What funny is how Derek gets SkyDogs slide tone.Duane was long gone before Derek was born.
Jesus, Joseph, Mary and the wee donkey.... that was absolutely stunningly beautiful.
I think this is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
Ben Taylor I wish I would have said that.
They played this in their 2nd set at Chicago Theater in Jan ... blue-black lighting, stars and a giant full moon cast on the curtain behind, stars on the floor ... her amazing voice and every piece of this amazing band in sync. A thing of beauty indeed.
Beautiful song. Beautiful couple (Derek & Susan)
Amen my fellow music lover!
Brings me to tears!
Thank God we have music like this out there today. I don't care if it's 10 years old. There aren't many bands today that are getting it done. There are some great new artists but not like it was in the 90s and before. Derek is from another planet and Susan is the best female blues singer out there. The whole band is cookin. God bless this band and the Allman Brothers band.
Look harder there is some people crushing it right now. Some great young musicians coming up. Country, bluegrass, blues, rock there is some great players in all these. They just arent in the mainstream media as much, heck strings and marcus king are selling out shows
Thank you it appears that I have won the current battle
Are you ok ? 🙏❤️🙏
🙏❤️🙏
Yes I am good
Hallelujah!
I followed your comments from a year ago, to this ~4 months ago.
I do hope you are still on top of this dreaded life·eater... (the godawful Big C..)
The band reported the news on social media, simply saying: “Kofi Burbridge. September 22, 1961 - February 15, 2019. We will miss our brother.”
They later released a statement paying tribute to the multi-instrumentalist, saying: “The world lost a true genius on Friday. Kofi was a beautiful man, loving friend, and brilliant musician. We are eternally grateful he came into our lives, sharing his many gifts and inspiring us both in music and life.
RIP
Kofi Burbridge ...keys and Flute
This masterpiece was written by Derek Trucks and Mike Mattison who is singing back up and playing guitar on this song.
Musical perfection.
Its actually Mikes song
Never heard of this band; came here from a random CZcams suggested link.
I can die happy now.
My guess is you'll like this, too. czcams.com/video/paeNnR33i5Q/video.html

@@bjornyesterday2562 Susan's soulful voice smokes Grace's, imo. Grace kind of yells like Adele, sort of. People love Adele though, so what do I know.
Never saw a trumpeter blow out of the side of his mouth. He was good.
Prefer Trucks to Satriani too. Satriani may be technically Superior, but Trucks has more emotion/soul.
@@jamesgeers309 I think I agree with everything you say but I didn't know we were comparing. Just trying to share some good music. For me No One Compares to Susan or Derrick but there sure is a lot of good music out there

definitely the best slide player of his generation. Full time with ABB by 15 y o. TTB, ABB and Derek Trucks Band by age 40. Not too shabby.
His guitar solo tells a story. Sooo moving
Best husband and wife musical pairing in history? Rock on all.
My mom turned me on to this song; she's got the BEST taste in music. The arrangement of sound, lyrics and mood, makes my head tingle every time. Perfection.
I can relate to you. My dad introduced me to this. This will forever remind me of him. This and the Teskey brothers. Something special we get to share with our parents.
what a lovely sentiment.!!!
hello try sinnerman Nina Simone
If the Allmans and Van Morrison had a baby this is the music it would play.
Derek’s solo brings tears every single time I listen to it.
Agrred He tears at your heart-cant describe it my eyes tear up at the beginning every time Unreal!
At 55 years old music can still make me cry.
Just let this song wash over you, just wallow in its beauty as the lyrics hit you followed by the guitar genius that is Derek Trucks.
I can't even get it loud enough on these Bose speakers I love it

My brother passed away and I was in bad shape I finally got to sleep the phone came on by itself and this song started to play ever since it's my very very favorite song my bro sent that to me. thank you Michael Ramos
I cry every time she sings. There is something spiritual and healing in this group. Anointed no doubt. I feel the healing
I agree. She sounds just like Bonnie Raitt, bit even with that she's found her own lane with her delivery.. She's definitely anointed. We have got to start supporting good music again. I love dthis band and the lead guitarist is nothing short of amazing.
They play with pure joy.
I do not cry Alex, but I agree 100% about what you said about them. Susan's voice is so smooth and soulful I wish I was Derek because what a pleasure to be able to make music on stage with your soulmate you can tell they are truly in love
I cry on this song too. It just gets to me in a way I can't explain.

[Verse 1]
Well, I came to the city
I was running from the past
My heart was bleeding
And it hurt my bones to laugh
Stayed in the city
No exception to the rules, to the rules
He was born to love me
I was raised to be his fool, oh his fool
[Chorus]
(Walk that line) Walk that line
(Torn apart) Torn apart
Gotta spend your whole life trying
(Ride that train) Ride that train
(Free your heart) And free your heart
It's midnight up in Harlem
[Verse 2]
I went down to the river
And I took a look around
There were old man's shoes
There were needles on the ground
No more mysteries, baby
No more secrets, no more clues
The stars are out there
You can almost see the moon
[Bridge]
The streets are windy
And the subway's closing down
Gonna carry this dream
To the other side of town
[Chorus]
(Walk that line) Walk that line
(Torn apart) Torn apart
Gotta spend your whole life trying
(Ride that train) Ride that train
(Free your heart) And free your heart

Derek's slide has a "mystical" tonal quality that blends in perfectly with Susan's plaintive vocals. Together with the rest of this exceptional group, they make this performance truly "Hit the Note." Thanks ya'll.
To have 4 playing in complete harmony and perfect rhythm is hard. Let alone a damn football team. And Harlem must be a hell of a place. Everyone talks about it..
This music is transcendent. Somehow you know it's a good idea to just let it in and take you wherever it will.
I never get sick of listening to it. She's got soul and he's a fantastic guitarist.
This gives me chills and causes tears to well up in my eyes. I could listen to it 1000 times and it never loses it's effect... what an amazing brilliant performance.
Matthew, I know what you're saying. Have you seen them live? I've watched their videos hundreds (or maybe thousands) of times and am always blown away by this awesome band. But then I got to see them live for the first time last month (July, 2019). I couldn't believe what I experienced! Their energy and musicianship live is so far beyond anything I have experienced watching these videos and listening to their CDs!! I've been to a lot of great concerts in my lifetime of legendary bands, but this was by far my favorite!
Roger Whitacre no.. I wish I had. I think they are going to be in my hometown for Crossroads Festival next month. Hopefully I can afford to get myself a ticket!! .
Matthew: This song has done the same to me. Amazing artistry and depth of feeling.
I got what ya are saying I listen to this song everyday for sure and most the time 2,3,4 times a day God Bless✌❤

Je ne peux plus me passer de cette voix, de ce solo de Derek Trucks! Merci et je le re écouterai des milliers de fois!

My Son sent me this video. It's my new favorite song. We're a family of musicians and He knew I would like it. Call me a sissy if you want too I don't care. They say Men ain't supposed to cry. When Derek Trucks does that lead break at about the 5 minute mark it makes happy tears come to my eyes. This is the most beautiful piece of music that I've heard in a very long time. This is what should be on modern radio stations. Instead of trying to be like everyone else This band is head and shoulders above the pack. Keep it up your destined for greatness.

The amazing Oteil Burbridge on bass here, he’s really holding down the low end, beautiful mix of instruments and interplay between the musicians.
This number is pure soul, and never gets old.
Derek is one of the best guitarists of all time. Truly. That solo is quite literally magic.
Tedschi Trucks are heaven sent Angels. How can two people possess that much talent ?
Rest In Peace Kofi Burbridge.
Hard to believe he's really gone.
WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?! NOOOOOO
So sad 😥
A truly tragic loss, Kofi was a freakishly good key/flute master in a band of stunning virtuosity.
It doesn't get much smoother than this. 8 minutes of musical perfection 👏
20 minutes or more of that Devine groove would have been even greater, bring back the long tracks of the 70s
When Derek melts that solo.. it’s watching someone doing what they’re born to do, beautifully ✨
Its as if Derek's guitar is making love to Susans voice or vice versa. Ive been playing this version for a few years now and still get chills when I hear it. Its absolutely perfection.❤
I do believe this is one of the most soulful and beautiful songs on the Tube.
I've listened to it hundreds of times, and I still get the same thrills when Derek launches into his solo. This will be my song at my funeral, my loved ones have been warned :)

I agree, Derek's solo is absolutely excellent. Susan comes in perfectly. Adding what she does so well. The whole band is just tight. I love this.
😁
This amazing band sets Derek up to take us on an emotional journey. Its hards to put into words, but his solo makes feel like everything is going to be okay.
I heard this song for the first time today and I can't believe I have lived this long and I've never heard of this band- I'm hooked! This song transcends and will be timeless.
They are amazing, stellar musicians, all around.
I heard this for the first time about 2a.m. this morning. Her voice and the sound- in the moonlight blew me away. I hope you all still hear it at least once a week. I live in the skids in Denver. Perfect.

An absolute roller coaster of emotion. The whole band's focus is on moving our hearts. It's like wiping the grime off a dirty window so you can see the beauty out there in the world. I've never heard better in a lifetime of music. Thank you thank you thank you
Your comment is lovely.
this is my all time favorite song. structure speaks to my brain
Amazing how the play runs the gamut of screaming passion yet maintains that smooth rolling cadence all simultaneously.
@@gypzs9 Thanks; as you can tell this one means so much to me!
Beautifully put
I've watched this video at least 200 times. Probably my favorite song ever.
This is world class band. Healing atmospheric. Keep going those struggling. We gotta. ❤
This will be the last song I ever hear...born in 1952 so you know I have heard the glory...on the road with Joni to John Prine ….the wonder of the music of my time and with that all...I choose you and this to be my final music bliss...BRAVO and love to the families that brought you up to fill this space so fine
One of the best posts I’ve ever read on CZcams. I was born in ‘48 and from the time I was three years old, when my parents let me play their 78’s of the Ink Spots, Johnny Ray, Frankie Lane, et al., music has always captivated my mind and soul, let me envision myself bringing joy to everyone by pretending I had a fraction of their talent. I gave up on music when Disco became the rage but five years ago, through CZcams, discovered the wealth of talent around the world by singers and musicians I and a lot of the world has never heard of. Thank you.
Sad enough to make me think...beautiful enough to make me give thanks...nuff said
No shit I've probably watched this 20 times plus and it has not lost anything. Absolutely next level
This is the most emotional guitar solo I’ve ever heard !
We keep coming back to this video year after year. It washes the soul in times like these. ❤️
Yes indeed.
Washes the soul...thanks for that...
She has one of the most soulful voices I've ever heard. She and Bonnie Raitt are two of my favorites. The chemistry between she and Derek is a beautiful thing.
