Al Pacino is the master of the soliloquy. The build of energy he is able to build with a good script is a thing of beauty. He never loses his intensity, whether it is full on in your face or evidenced in minute body movements and facial shifts.
I don’t believe he has ever let down a film he has played in, and his work ethic is rock solid. He stands among the actors who I would watch a film simply because they are in it. He is never invisible in any scene, whether he is the focus or not.
I could not pick a favourite film of his because he takes roles that he knows he can find inside himself and commit to. Thank you for reminding me of just how many great films he has been a riveting part of. A serious talent to be sure.🖤🇨🇦

Yes, The British were there in the beginning but so were the French and Spanish ( meanwhile none of your tribe ) and yet you have been unable to come up with a Language of your OWN!! It is also evident to me that AMERICANS have very few standards to adhere to these days as it is so corrupt, much like our very own system but at least we can speak correctly! @janetwebster5099. LOL! A "not ready country" that saved your ass in WWII. Go mind your OWN problems, Great Britain has plenty. Don't speak to me about guns. My stepdaughter was killed by her drunken husband with an AR 15. She had 2 children. I was a gun safety advocate a decade before that happened. I led the Million Mom March in Oklahoma City, as did moms in cities across this country decades ago in support of gun legislation. You know nothing. 2/3 of Americans support this legislation. The greed of a few wealthy businessmen and their lobbyists are the problem. Lawmakers are bribed to support these murderers. Kindly mute yourself about subjects about which you are totally ignorant. Your country has been on a long downhill slide or haven't you noticed? Middle class folks can't afford mortgage on their homes, rents are far too high, your NHS is in a shambles, people are going hungry, retired folks are having to live in caravans, thousands are homeless or are squatters. Carlitos Way is probably My Favorite
That movie is So Gosh Darn Good and still underrated In it’s greatness .
Of course there’s so many to choose from
I still really like Devils Advocate even though it’s not as good as I originally felt when it came out
Somethings just don’t stand the test of time
But it’s not bad, I still like it .
Of course SCARFACE is A Masterpiece.
Sea Of Love has been 1 of My favorites ever since I saw it as a kid, a 9yo ☺️
Funny I was so young but it’s been 1 of My movies that I still enjoy ever since I 1st saw it .
Not* Pacino but I was 10yo when I saw JFK and it’s A favorite ever since and only continues to get better ever time I see it.
To realize what great work was done by Oliver Stone on that film
They nailed it with that timepiece.
Dick Tracy is a great performance by Al , obviously, He Won awards 😁 😉
    But imo as well 😊.
    Edit:
I always forget about the great roles he played for HBO
He takes on His roles for sure , 1 of the few actors that can actually look different
and with minimal makeup , still Al but still looks exactly like His role He’s portraying.
    Looked dead on Dr. Jack
    As well as Joe Pa
    Bravo 👏 👏 BRAVO❕👏 👏 👏

Good documentary. Very informative, despite at least a couple of informational glitches, one being that Scarface wasn’t shot exclusively in Los Angeles, but in both Los Angeles and Miami. Also: while the term “yayo” was used for coconut, it was used by Pacino in Scarface as slang for *cocaine*. It was also terribly grating to hear the narrator consistently mispronounce certain names, such as Ebert, Serpico, and Coppola...even the name Leonard (as in Leonard Nimoy). Nonetheless, I greatly appreciate the effort, as this is the only documentary I have ever found on my most favorite actor.

@Tommy Salami, it is disrespectful. It's one thing to mispronounce a name because you've never seen it written before and you don't know the subject. But to mispronounce THESE names! It's the same on EVERY video. It's as if he knows NOTHING about Hollywood and is reading a script. There is NO WAY he could have done any of the research himself without hearing the correct pronunciation. It actually makes him come across as arrogant. As if HE knows the PROPER pronunciation and EVERYONE ELSE is saying them incorrectly.

@@victoriacervantes8561 I’ll understand the constructive criticism and the dishonorable way the creator says these names and he needs to be corrected. The commenter above me just irritated me as the commenter basically scolded the creator over some pronunciation and so are you. This CZcams creators hard work overshadows his pronunciation, creating over hour long documentary’s telling us the story’s of these incredible actors. Pronunciation is different for everybody in the world. Whether “wrong” or not it truly doesn’t matter when OC is getting the name out there of Al Pacino in such a documented way.
