Captain Allende was the driving force for De Santa to show no mercy and brutality to the rebels and John himself. He was also what made De Santa be De Santa and often neglected him and a ton of rebels wanted him dead. Colonel favours was generic asf and barely had depth
Great opinions but I disagree with one I believe edger Ross is a better villain than agent milton because he's a flat out bad guy while Milton was just working and chasing down people who murder a bunch no kidnapping families needed so I believe that point should have gone to rdr 1

RDR1 villains are more grey in terms of moral and they can actually make a point explaining why they do what they do. The conversations between John and De Santa, John and Reyes are some of the deepest and most intelligent ones you can find out of video games when it comes to politics. In RDR2 the villains are much more childish and simpler. It's just simply "Rich guys are evil. Civilization is bad. Racism is unacceptable". There's not as much depth to it.
Why I prefer Rdr2 over Rdr1 is the fact that Rdr2 has WAY less annoying characters than Rdr1. Annoying Characters: Nigel West Dickens, Irish, Seth, Abraham Reyes (Who are unfortunately a part of the main story), I HATE them. In Rdr2 the only annoying character is Micah, in my opinion at least.
