Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch one Fire Type Pokémon per Area; This includes Pokémon that evolve INTO Fire types, but does NOT include non-Fire Pokémon that evolved from Fire types!
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4's ace (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

I'm from the UK and I've only ever heard "exclamation mark", didn't know some people said "point"

The Pokémon names and quick jokes are so good, I love the way he makes a game that is so tedious on top of a mono type nuzlocke so entertaining.
I love his sense of humor. When Alicia Keys activated flame body i laughted and sang this guurl is on fiiiiireeee while still cackling 😂😂😂😂 and names also very fitting for pokemons too. And i wheezed everytime he said P!nk's name 😂

Fun fact, being the first game to introduce mega evolutions, XY very graciously give the player a whole 6 options to try out during the main story. Before Diantha, the only mega stones you can obtain are the Kanto starter you pick, Aerodactyl, Lucario, Ampharos, Gengar and Abomasnow. So not only do you barely fight any, you dont get many either

Now I know why it has been so long since the last X/Y video, all the budget went into the puppet show and it was well worth it. Another award winning performance by everyone involved.

P.s. any plans on doing a fighting type only nuzlocke? WWE superstars I think would be a really fun nickname theme

X & Y were my first Pokémon games, when I was 7. I have since played all of them and completed every national dex, but X & Y (specifically Y) will always hold a very special place in my heart. Despite its flaws, I have several hundred hours in the game XD
The best part of Kalos runs are the puppet shows. They are immaculate.
Omg, an actual real microwave instead of the paper cutout of Rotom was freaking hilarious.
The entire, extended himbosaurus rex bit was godtier. Your crispy fresh humour and super listenable narration is absolutely indispensable for an otherwise fairly repetitive-by-nature format, it is always a delight :)
Im frustrated with the Grant fight, since if I remember correctly, you should have protect at this point

You yawn, Cash gets knocked into the yellow
Then protect, and Tyrunt falls asleep
Rock Smash, and hope for the defense drop based on that range, and do it again and you win, No deaths

I forgot initially that the puppet shows are only for Diantha, not the entire E4, and had a moment of being so disappointed it wasn't happening this time before realizing it was all good. I remember in your first X video where you were so nervous/apologetic about the puppet show replacing the lost footage and I'm SO DELIGHTED it's become a regular thing. I did a fire run of X for my first ever nuzlucke. I may have died to Grant a few times and had to reset, but it was fairly smooth sailing once I figured him out. All the Kalos fire types are some of my favorite Pokémon.
