I was recently asked by Bagotte to review their new robotic vacuum cleaner model - BG600. This device mostly impresses with quietness - for a robot with 1500PA suction power you can barely hear it, very good build quality, and quite a nice design.
I had this internal dialog - whether I should review the BG600 or not - mostly because while it is called “smart”, it doesn’t have Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth, or possibility to be linked with Alexa or Google home - at least not directly.
Let’s check what is fitting within the current price of slightly more than $200 - which is a tempting price for such a capable robot.
We’ve got the vacuum, the side brushes, plus two spares, a cleaning brush, a charger, a magnet - limiter, and the remote controller. Papers to help us understand about the operation and a spare heap filter.
Based on what we see - we can make the conclusion it is a device for dry cleaning only. There’s no mop - so it is not one of the hybrids that lately are so popular. And very often devices which are designed to do one thing, usually do that efficiently.
Some hardware specs - 1500PA suction power - a little less than what Xiaomi Roborock S50 (second generation) offers, main brush - which is perfect for carpets, 2600mAh battery - good for around 100 minutes of operation and only 55db noise level, which makes it a little louder than an air conditioner.
There is only one button on the main unit, and you have more controls from the remote. There are a few different cleaning models - spot, edge, single room cleaning and there is a turbo mode, where the motor is temporarily being boosted to collect more dust - which has good impact on dirty carpets.
A great placement of the dustbin - it is located in the rear, quick-release based, and easy to wash and maintain. We can notice that the current iRobot Roomba, Samsung and Miele vacuums all have a similar design.
The vacuum has sensors - so it won’t fall down from stairs.
I know that you are curious about the cleaning efficiency - it is at a good level - I usually perform a test by spilling certain amount of dirt - in this case - 30 grams of sunflower seed. 29 out of these 30 grams were inside the dustbin 10 minutes later.
The fact that the wheels are so high means that high carpets are accessible. The carpet here is something like a benchmark - and for the devices I’ve tested only the XIaomi Roborock S50 managed to climb.
Good to see the remote options - I really tried hard thinking of a possibility to somehow connect it to a home assistant like Alexa. The only thing you can do is to find an infrared relay device like the cheap Broadlink modules, but that limits your controls only to the areas where you have direct visibility. Which is often not effective enough.
So - at the end - the Bagotte model truly delivers what it is supposed to - excellent build quality at a reasonable price, with focus on being able to dry-clean literally everywhere. The BG600 model is not focused on smart functions - and it doesn’t add extras like room maps, Wi-Fi controls, voice commands, wet cleaning or cameras. Those of you who follow my reviews often know that I don’t necessarily insist on using phone apps, but this time - this is the missing pillar that was going to make me say "hey, this is an awesome robot vacuum!"

@@TechMishka Oh thank you very much, thats very nice of you
I just scored this model for $160 on Amazon! Looking forward to trying it out.
Maan, a great price!
Is it working well for you?
Regardless of it not having the capability to room map or access to wifi. I feel as though this will be a good first time robot as a gift to my mother this coming Christmas. I wanted to go all out and buy her a Roomba or Shark with the emptying bin feature, but there were too many bugs and too many negative reviews so far. Only Bagotte and Eufy seemed to be cheaper and higher quality (less bugs) competitors, though they do unfortunately lack applications and floor mapping capabilities. However, I’m not entirely sure if I will even miss the wifi feature, as many complaints for the Roomba was that it wouldn’t work during scheduled cleanings unless the phone of the user was connected to a wifi location. My wifi sucks at my house due to multiple siblings and devices, so it’s probably better this way. Also, even though it can’t floor map, I wasn’t expecting to never sweep the floors again, but this will help maintain a cleaner environment with all the foot traffic and animals we have in the house. I’m very impressed with the reviews thus far, I will keep researching, but I loved this video because it was both fair and thorough. I’m hoping this works out as my mom will finally be able to use her mopping Roomba she got for her birthday as a present from a family friend. Without a robot vaccum our army was incomplete, but I’m hoping to get “Wilson ‘Bagotte’ Fisk” to come home. 🖤🖤🖤
I can confirm that the BG600 is quite an awesome model; Being heavier than most competitors makes me think they use very quality parts;
Right now I am testing the BG700, which has WiFi, however no map functionality, and is based on the BG600 hardware - and realized how much I miss the BG600 too 😇
I have the BG700 and it has WiFi as long as you can access a 2.4ghz network. I actually got it from my mom for Christmas and I love
It so far. It roams the house cleaning and when it’s ready it meanders back home to charge.
Hello mate, great review. Just curious if it runs out of battery while cleaning and has to recharge. Does it pick up where it left off?
This one - does not. It is not capable of creating maps, so it cannot guess how much from the cleaning cycle has completed.
Good review, very complete!! Well done! Unfortunately this coupon is not valid 😔
Hi Nick, I confirm the coupon seems to no longer be working. Got in touch with Bagotte - they will hopefully re-activate it.
I actually went to Lowe’s and got a couple rolls of magnetic strip that are smaller than the strip included and has an adhesive installed on the backside of the roll. I have found that placing the after market magnetic strip is just as effective and a little less noticeable than the included one. I placed it on some step ups it kept getting stuck on trying to climb and into rooms it kept trapping itself in by shutting the door trying to clean behind it and it seems to work great. I have the 700 model and it has WiFi and Alexa connectivity (although I don’t use Alexa with it yet). I’m super satisfied with this robot, it’s my first experience with a vacuum robot and I love it so far.
Maan, awesome feedback and summary! I will actually release the review of the 700 tomorrow.
And I also have wondered for a long time why they send such thick magnet 😊 Feels ... generous!
Great product!!!!!
Yup, does the job about right! 😎👍
suction power for vacuum is expressed in Air watts , (Air Flow (in CFM) x Vacuum (in inches of water lift)) = Air Watts. ... so what's 1500PA? how does it relate?
most vacuums are measured in pa; quite subjective - but it is what it is...
Can you remove the omnidirectional wheel at the front?
in order to clean it - yeah.
I want to buy for my mom when my mom birthday...
Yeah, she would love such a thing at home - it definitely helps a lot with automating the cleaning 👍
What’s the best one, I don’t have a budget
iRobot? Miele? Roborock? ... Plenty of good ones.
El mío luce sus botones en rosado y no sale de la casita que puede ser ?
I want to review one as well, Hello Michael. How you guys doing over there. Cheers to ya,shoot me an email again sometime. Maybe be able to caught up my friend. Amazing review as always. Your getting so good that its time to leave youtube and go on to live t.v.
Ok my friend, take care of yourself.
Hey mate, so awesome to see you around! I will drop a line at some time - having some sort of vacation these days 😇🧐
Hopefully you are doing well too!
P.S. Not interested in TV. CZcams is a good enough platform 😎👍

Well possible.
Paid review won't buy
If the review was paid, I was about to disclose that and generally I don't do paid reviews.
Bagotte vacuums are quite good in my opinion - great build quality.
Made in China. Nough said.
there aren't many things that are not made in China these days...
