she didn't preform the song well enough during the semi final, It should of made it but it depended on how well kristina was able to do on stage
From what i know, it didn't make it because she took inspiration from some folk song and aparrently that's not allowed
Thanks :) I am Slovak and I can say that really the Slovak language is very nice. It is not so easy to learn it absolutely correctly but in general, it is a common situation with every foreign language.

This song is a proof that non qualifiers are better than the entries to the final.
This sounds fresh even in 2020, ten years after. This is by far the best possible combo of all the things music should have. Traditional vibes, modern beat, instrumental, excellent staging, amazing voice, this may be the only song that there is literally no mistake
Mistake... how about an overcomplicated choreography for the performance? Kristína was way too nervous and just little bit terrified and the fact that she has to done all of this moves didn't help at all.

This masterpiece being extremely underrated must be the reason why Slovakia doesn't want to take part in Eurovision anymore.
Slovakia has no money to participate, and even if we somehow won it would be very hard to actually host the contest in Bratislava due to money reasons. I don't think there's actually a venue in Slovakia that would be good for hosting.

Moja babka bola horehronka, i ked v mladosti odisla do Bratislavy.Vzala ma tam, ked som mal 10 rokov na prazdniny(Pohronska Polhora) k jej krstnemu otcovi ,ktory mal v tom case asi 98 rokov, a k jeho rodine.Bol to clovek ktory sa v tom vysokom veku ohanal sekerov ako 30 rocny chlap.Ludia tam stale zili sposobom ako pred storociami pomaly, fyzicka kondicia tam bola samozrejmostou.Bolo to volakedy v 1982-83 roku.Ten kraj bol uplne carovny fascinovalo ma tam uplne vsetko.Doteraz som na Slovensku nenasiel krajsiu krajinu ako Horehronie.A to na Slovensku je v horach uchvatne prakticky vsade.
