  • Testing the Suzuki Sidekick / Geo Tracker's abilities in soft sand. Light weight + low tire pressure + 4x4 = fun!
We spend the day in the Oregon Dunes, just South of Florence.
Check out my other videos for info on the lift and tires I'm running. • Budget Lift Done Right... My friend's Rubicon is stock.
The compressor is a VIAIR 88P. It connects directly to the battery and re-inflates each tire in couple of minutes. I ran 12psi on the sand.

I'm convinced. I'll be taking my 99 Tracker on 235's ATs to the Moses lake dunes.

@@thisisnotatest2 Not yet I’m kinda holding out looking for another rig. This one only has 110k on it but I really want a tin top with A/C. Had a chance a few weeks back but drug my feet and lost it.

I really wanted a tin top when I started looking. I've only seen them in the earliest years, so no 16v. But I'm so happy to have the soft top now. Love driving it with the top off!

Looks like Sand Lake. I live on the Oregon coast. We always ran at 10 PSI’s and got really good traction. Back in the day, I had a CJ5 Jeep with real aggressive tires. The treads on the tires were about 2 inches deep and we could go just about anywhere.
Oh yeah, don’t forget to write or update your will. That was funny.

These are the dunes just south of Florence. It's pretty similar to Sand Lake, but a lot bigger. I'm going to be a bit more adventurous next time and go down to 10psi. Thanks for the info! Glad you enjoyed my wife's commentary!

What is this music and band of video? I have a Vitara 94 here in Brazil. I like it so much.

Don't want to get into copyright issues, but it's a cover of big hit from '83. Band initials are QR.

Hopefully I can take my x90 and samurai there someday. Up here in the Seattle area...

It's worth the drive! There's camping nearby, make it a road trip!

@PDX Jay I actually plan to sometime. I'm building my Samurai currently for more crawling and converting my x90 to 4x4 using a parts tracker. Getting a car trailer to tow the rigs there or other orv parks. Looks like a blast out there!
