I have 2 Taiwanese girls that live at my place who are currently on holiday in NZ and are in Christchurch as I'm writing this. A little useless info, but now ... BAND MAID - You wanna see these girls showin off their talent, then you wanna check out one of their latest vids... "Hate" an it's live. These guys are really amazing. Forget about the outfits an the language barrier cos they are the real deal ... awesome songs (hard to find a bad one), out of this world talent and genuine, humble people who adore their fanbase. If you like hard rock, these girls are saving the genre. Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. Forget about the outfits an the language barrier cos they are the real deal ... awesome songs (hard to find a bad one), out of this world talent and genuine, humble people who adore their fanbase.
If you like hard rock, these girls are saving the genre.
I grew up on AC/DC (they played at my Tech school in Melb when they we're just starting out - yep, another Aussie here) an I can honestly tell you these girls are the most consistent hard rocking band I have heard in many, many years (I've been listening to BAND MAID daily for the past 4 years) ... they ARE that good.
