    When you attached the top rail part to the lower rail part via the 4 screws, did the two parts have any wiggle/wobble room between them or was it firmly attached after connecting?

    • @TinC33
      @TinC33  Před 4 lety

      There is just a bit wiggle yes because ob the Y axis wheels, it's got just a bit free space, and can't be tighten closer to the rails, if want to fix need to extend hole for wheel screw, so it can be tighten closer to the rail, no big dial but i leave as it is, because i don't see need to fix that.

[ (leather, hard wood, cardboard, and if you have stronger laser module (I have a 7W module for this engraver as well) I'm interested about harder, stronger materials, maybe metal.]
      Thank you if you can help with 3500, and the 7000mW if you have, it would be great for the help with it. I have another engravers, a 15W (pulsed, average 8W) that can engraving any metal without any anodizing, and a 17W module, what I can't connect to any driver board, and I have a small 500mW, and an analog (without ttl or pwm) 2500mW laser module. The 17W and the two smallest can be mount to a 50x60cm machine (with everything - stepper motors driver boards, only what I can't to connect the right way to any board the 17W module. It burns like a hell, the motors are working, but the ttl doesn't. It's always on full power. Maybe you can help me?

    Hi
    Great video, just what I need now as I got mine in the mail today and are in the process of getting up and running. But I have a problem, I think, I can feel there is some play in the X-plate, the plate where the Y-arm is mounted on. I tried to tighten all screws but it doesn’t seem to help. It’s like the wheels with the W-shape are not tight enough against the crossbar. I notice this by holding the end of the Y-arm and I can wiggle it sideways and also up and down. Do you have this problem?

    • @TinC33
      @TinC33  Před 4 lety

      Hello, yes i got this problem but really small, so i don't got a problem with that, but if you want to fix, just increase the hole threw the acrylic (where is the screw for the wheel) with a file a bit, so you can tighten wheel closer to the rail, that's the simpiest solution, propper solution will be excentered screw, but don't see need to make this mod.

    • @TinC33

      @@M4R10_ Laser power is power laser work with, you can get that settings all the time on 100% (except in some cases, tell on end) burning time is actually speed of stepper motor, spped of engraving, speed of cutting... That tell us howmany time laser burn each spot before move to another, if you set to a few ms entire laser moving so fast that it only leave a burning trace behind (engraving) if you set that settings to high, laser move really slowly, so it got time to burn each spot befor moving to next one, so in that time it's burn the material that much that it actually cut them (cuting). The power of laser you need to decrease only in case when you want to engrave on something like paper, if you set it too fast like 2-5ms, laser become that fast that the image was not clear, you can see the vibration on them, well if you decrease speed it go slowly, there will be no vibrations, but the laser will burn the paper in that time not only engrave, well in that case you need to decrease as laser power as speed.
