You sold me sir! So many good things about this video compared to others. The fact that you were able to cut so thick! I don't see anyone else running an air hose to blow smoke and carbon away from the cut. Subscribed and watching!
Just got the 20w upgrade to my 3.5w but wasn’t aware about the power adapter required with the change. Thank you for the awareness!
Exactly the video I was looking for some time. All my doubts are over. Thank you my friend.
Thanks of u I bought a 3500mw neje engrave laser and I am very satisfied. Now I am ready to buy another one with 20w.
Thank you very very much.
U r soooo good!!!!
thanks
Man i love the details on upgrading everything you touch, i already watch like a 5 videos straight and you're a beast....
thanks
Thanks for the the Neje 20w review. I'd been wondering about a real life comparison for a while now and this video greatly helped in answering my questions.
Hi. Your English is better than most peoples Slovene. Hope everything is good
Thanks Arne, here's good for now, stay safe.
Excellent Video. Just got 3.5 watt Neje. Very happy with it.
Lake Bled is fantastic !
This is a great video thank you very much for it. I have a Neje laser master with 3500 and 7000 mW modules, I'd love to have a 20W module as well. This laser engraver is much better than a lot of others what I tried.
I am brand new to this hobby and looking forward to learning it.
I have been wanting one of these lasers for leather work. Glad to see how well it works.
It was your videos that helped me pick a neje 3500 up. Thanks for the great reviews.
It can Cut 2mm Colored Acrylic too.. with 1 pass... I really Love it.
Really???? This is a very good information. Could you upload any picture to see it?? (Forgive my English please 😊😊)
Thanks for the video. I was wondering if you should change the focus when cutting multiple passes, when you are doing a deep cut. Since what you are cutting is now farther away (farther down) maybe you shouldn't focus on the top surface anymore.
Hi i have just bought a Neje 20W i found your video very good
Thanks today i got neje 2 to make review 😁
your videos are actually really useful, and your English is really good.
Thanks
Nice! Thanks for showing us all the different materials it can cut!
Excellent review, Tin! My little laser engraver just died and I'm looking to replace it. This helps me a lot! Thanks.
I just thought of a question. Can you manually focus the laser to correct for the change in height of the material. It seems strange that you can't do this.
@@GKfromCanada sure you can, just screw or unscrew the lens until you get smallest possible dot.
I'm very impressed with those results in stainless steel and glass 👍
just waiting on my NE JE Master 2 20 watt to be delivered. I want to do some fine patterning on my Old gun Stocks. It should be tons of Fun. I also have a 3d printer Any Cubic N ( huge delta printer. also tons of fun. Nice information on the NE JE 20 watt upgrade.
I like these NEJE lasers. I have watched a lot of reviews on them and they all positive. Thanks for the side by side comparison that helps a lot. I'm saving up , and if all goes well I should buy one by May.
Good job on the video i am building a diy laser engraver with a nene 20w laser now. I am more happy thanks
Hello, i am from Russia and very like your chanal.
Thanks and greetings to Russija
Sounds like an interesting module to upgrade my cnc with. Thanks for the review!
Excellent review and great demonstration of all. The many videos I have watched yours seems to be quite superb in speed and explanation.
i have a 3018 laser engraver. i did exactly the same as you when i connected my 30 watt laser module, but with 2 power supplies connected it runs all the time and wont turn off.
Thanks for the video, trying to get into engraving pen blanks myself. I hope you can show videos of the rotary jig with your Neje sir. Best of luck and thanks for the examples of projects.
Do you have any videos of you using a rotary jig sir? Thats my interest with the machine from other videos I've seen out there. I know Tshadow used to sell em but they stopped. Looking for an alternative until they figure when they will be selling them again. That's again and keep up the good work. I like your examples of materials and power and speed you used...helps a lot
I love the video. Thanks for giving so much detail and effort you've put to make it so helpful.
Greetings from Poland🇵🇱
Thanks, cheers to Poland from Slovenija
This laser engraver would be so much useful here it the shop
Great video, don't worry about your English, it only means that we have to watch it twice. That can't be a bad thing, my friend......
Good review, I bought ortur with 20w, and it has focus problem specially in the horizontal lines. I can cut 4 mm plywood but not like butter, it needs 20 rounds for 500 mm/min. I focus the best I know but It is not a dot but a line.
I have the same with Neje master 2 20w. 4mm wood needs 50 rounds of 10mm/s at 100%, I have no air assist though.
looking at getting laser found your video very helpful thank you
Still deciding on Ortur or Niji myself but sometime this week I'll decide, thanks for the video sir...
Nice explanation of the different processes you tried 👍🏻
Interesting results. would have assumed that more power always better, but apparently not the case..
that's what i was think, why they eaven sell 3.5w..... now i see
Looks like a 3d printed fan adapter would be worth doing, something like an 80mm fan would be at tick over keeping that cool and the noise would be right down.
that's an awesome idea, or just put some potentiometer to reduce the fan rpm, because it don't heat more than 37degree celsius
Great demo - lots of good detailed examples. Would have like slower - lots of information in a short amount of time.
Won my subscription with this!! Absolutely what I was looking for dude! Thank you!
Top kanal, top majstr, top laser, top nagrada. Jest se pridruzujem v bobnu 😉
Great video I am currently assembling mine
Great, i also get neje 3max to test 😉
Great well presented video, I was undecided between the Neje 20w and the Ortur 15w until now. John
Thanks for the review! I'm researching a laser engraver / cutter and this one looks good.
Best one i try, thanks
Thank you for making this video. It really helped me make my decision on which laser to buy. As for the English, if you could speak a little slower, and please include steps slowly on how to focus laser, and to set software to do this.
That inox trick is awsome
Wow that laser looks awesome for its price
I would love to get a laser like this. Can you make a video about adding air assist?
In next video about ortur upgrade i will show a bit closer air assist
Thank you for covering this product.
Hmm starting to get interested in diode lasers again. Nice vid!
It's a nice thought but I rarely win anything. Thanks for the video.
sorry maybe next time ;)
Thank you for sharing. So for cutting you recommend 45mm from the bottom of the laser head to the top of material. What about the power setting and the burn time for leather? I have had the neje 7w for a while and for engraving its great. Possible to share your setting list? This is like impossible to find anywhere. Thank you ..
Хорошее сравнение 👍 Подскажи пожалуйста, в какой программе выполнялась резка самолета с 8й минуты?
What an awesome little machine! Thanks for the review!
Is it just NEJE or common practice with other manufacturers throughout the industry to market the laser modules based on power consumption (20W) instead of actual optical power (5.5W - the number that really matters)?
Hello, from Cape Town, South Africa
Thank you for the video... Looking forward to others you may do...excellent...
Thanks, there's one new about neje 2
It'll be a great tool to go along with my 3D printer
lepa razlaga (from belgium)
I am choosing which laser engraver to get for our robotics team. I think this video helped me to decide. Did you find that you would sometimes switch to the lower power laser for some jobs or did you always use the 20W. I am looking forward to this. What is the difference between 30 Watt and 30 Watt max. Is it just the bed size? This video really helped me. I would like to see you do a video on tile engraving with white paint. Do you know the cell phone girl?
Cell phone girl is the girl from videogame GTA if i remember right.
You can choose neje 2, neje plus or neje max, only difference is in size, mini is worst than other.
then you can choose from the modul, 2.5w is best for frayscale engrave and 40w is best for cutting, if you ask me 40w is the best one, there come video in few days only about 40w modul, than also video about compare all the moduls from 2.5w-40w, did you watch all of my neje videos?
boohoo! Keep doing those miniatures I am drooling! good video! AAAAmazing miniature.
Did you do a proper manual focus of the lens before this review or was it preset from the factory?
Good review, I like the way you try so many different ways of doing things.
Thanks
Great, but sad what need to fix 20w laser optics.
Excellent! Looking for something to cut a bunch of cardboard with, seems perfect.
Odličen video! Lepo predstavljeno!
Don't throw away that plastic bag until you make sure you have all items/parts. Having a hassle with Banggood because I didn't keep the bag, then found out an item was missing. I would like to have a laser for gun metal engraving.
Appreciate the video instruction. I've bought the NEJE Laser Module Mount Holder Spring Clamp Suitable for Master 2 Laser Engraver Machine Replace Tool from Amazon - no instructions as to how to mount the laser + clamp onto the frame - any ideas? Thanks
I don't know what kind of clamp you got, i just mount new laser on with 2 m3 screws and plug the cable that's it.
i wana see you put a neje 40 watt module on the ortur.
Great video carry on with the great work 👍👍🏴
How do you make the laser contour or cut letter by letter and not engrave from side to side.
Hello what is the thickness of material you are cutting and can you cut leather?
Very nice laser module.
Thank you for your laser videos. Good job!
The review was so helpful..
Can you describe more / make another video about the air assist?
in next video about ortur upgrade i will show a bit closer air assist
Very cool for diorama maker
That's pretty cool I would like one of those
That was a very cool laser
Cool! These things are neat. Thanks for the video
I like this laser I dont have money to buy it I from slovenia
pa drugič ;)
this laser looks very useful, love to win it
Hi, can you make a acrylic cutting video?
Hai, thank you for making this video its really help me to decided which budget laser machine i should buy, i want to ask if neje can engrave cylinder product? Like pen or something smaller? Do you know how to make neje master laser rotary equipment? If you do, please make the tutorials 😁 thank you
Hi! Really helpful video! I’ve just bought one, and I was wondering if you could give me a list of parameters for cutting? I’m having trouble cutting through grey card
Try with 100% LP and 5-10ms BT
@@TinC33 brilliant! Thankyou
Thank you for the detailed and thought out overview. I found this helpful. :)
Thanks
Good video. Thanks Mike
TinC33 --- thanks for the review. Great job and well done. I have a question: I have the 20W Neje Master 2 machine, but it seem to always edge and cut in raster mode ? How can I cut a shape in vector mode ? Is there a simple tutorial somewhere which shows how to cut a simple shape (square or so) with this Engraver/Cutter in Vector mode ? Thanks, your help is much appreciated.
You need to inpirt dxf or nc file into neje software and it will cut only the lines, or use lightburn or laser grbl where you can directly draw and cut by the lines
Love Banggood! The 7W version is on sale right now. 50% off, so only ~205$ can!
with a coupon that was the price for 20W
TinC33 - wow! I posted that 3 weeks ago, things change fast over there! Maybe it was an apology effort for infecting the whole world. ;)
nice to know I cau use it to cut 5mm plywood!
Hi Tin33, is the beam focusable or you have to physically adjust the distance from material?
hello great channel ..... according to the tests you have done, which brand is better ... ORTUR or NEJE .... to do the work of engraving and cutting?
As i say many times, it's hard to choose one, ortur is much faster, but neje got better laser modul and better software, neje 2 got also bt and phone app to controll, about laser, 3,5w is best for gray scale engrave, 20w is better for deep engrave & cutting.
Looks really good.
Nice video, what is the air used for (cooling ), what is the air CO2 or normal compression air?
6:54
hi... which laser potency and speed are you using for aluminum???
Hi! Thanks for the video. As you've done so many tests, I wonder if you could put the results in some kind of "cheat sheet"? I think of some table with good settings for engraving or cutting different material types.
Hello i got plan to make something like that in some future video where i test all the laser moduls from 2,5w to 40w.
Thank you so much for your video - this has helped me in deciding which laser I am going to purchase. Do you happen to have your parameters you used to get me started please?
When you got the machine just make few tries with different settings and you know in a minute what setting you need (there are only two) because it's differenf on every material.
i have a question for you; i want to cut a nylon fabric (500 D or more). Which laser should i take? a lower power, ie 3.5W, doing more passes or is it preferable to take a 20W and then possibly reduce the power by the software? what do you think about ?
Great to see your upload again
Thanks for the video! Very helpful. We will be using your affiliate link to purchase this.
Thanks man apriciate that.
Great vid. Thank's
Quick question; if I may ...
I want to cut a pattern as deep as possible in hardwood; what is the depth that I can get to ... !?
Can I get to 4mm ... !?
And, what thickness (width) of cut can I cut at the same time ... 1 / 2 / 3 / 4mm ... !?
I would like to cut (in hardwood) ... 3mm depth with a 2 to 3mm width of cut ... !?
Would love your advice on that?
Thank you so much.
William (Southampton, UK)
Thanks, line width is about 0,1mm so if you want deep engrave not cut just set propper speed and power to reach 4mm deep and than engrave line by line until line will be 4mm wide.
But you need to know that there will not be evenly deep surface, because wood is not the same hardness (don't know how to say layers wood make every year while growing)...
For that job i suggest 20w or more laser modul.
Very thorough review. I hope that you will share more information about your air nozzle modification. Did it produce enough thrust to effect the laser?
In next video about ortur upgrade i will show a bit closer air assist
DO you know if this will engrave on polymer pistol grips? I would estimate no deeper than 1/8" depth. If not can you recommend one that would.
Thanks in advance.
