“It takes a village to raise a child but you can’t trust everyone in the village” the most truest thing I’ve heard in a while 💯

Exactly this is the main reason I don't utilize my village. A lot of times I don't trust kids either. I'm a survivor it is the ones you least expect to.
And when the village is full of pedos…
That is why it takes two supportive parents to raise a child. A mother and father who are stable and capable of raising a child.
Her mother was abused and she continued the circle with her children. She broke the circle and saved her children from abuse.

Her daddy’s side tried to help her and love her. Listening to her talk about her father breaking down. He was hurt bc he didn’t know truly what he had done or what she had been told by her mother to turn her against him. Sending her so much love bc her light is shining so bright.

I have a daughter who was drugged and raped at 13 and we found out when she was 5 months pregnant . I’ve struggled with the guilt for 9 years . We are raising our wonderful granddaughter and my daughter is struggling with mental health issues . Thankyou for sharing your story , the insight you have is painful . Everyday I thank God that I was raised by my grandma, growing up I hated how she never let me out her sight, never let me have sleep overs, never let me go out on my own. Now I realize she was protecting me from the world. She loves me and did not want anyone to take advantage of me.
Mannn I was raised by my grandmother and I felt the same way. I felt like I couldn’t do anything, not the things my friends were doing but yes I understand now. She had seen so much of it happening before me and it also probably happened to her.

And her SA abuser was convicted & sentenced to jail, 5 years of probation, 300 hours of community service & has to register on the s3x offender list. So although her paternal grandmother may have not helped the other times she was abused, she helped her get justice for that particular incident & that may mean a lot to this strong woman. In comparison, to her maternal & paternal family who deliberately turned a blind eye...
Her crying broke my heart! I'm so glad she kept her baby. God uses different means to heal people. Motherhood gave her a chance to protect, love and prioritize her baby; as should have been done for her! I wish her safety, healing, health and every happiness Satan tried to rob her of through godless people!!!

This broke my heart. I wish that I could’ve protected you! This is happening too often. The root cause of sexual addiction, deviance , the desire to violate children needs to be addressed on a large scale. What is happening??? This triggered me, I too am a survivor but you inspire me to speak out As I am 46 years old but that hurt never goes away. Why was I chosen, I’m a protector and my daughter said ma I’m the only girl that I know that’s never been violated. Which was beautiful to hear but still so sad. She’s was pretty social.
It really is shocking and disgusting, isn’t it, that a girl could say that she’s the only person who hasn’t been molested? What in the name of hell is going on in this society? Do we need to educate every new parent in how to protect their children and make that mandatory?

I was feeling low and depressed about how shit my life has been but then I watched this and now I don’t feel so bad about things. This stuff actually makes me more depressed.. because you can’t even turn to anyone or trust anyone so many people are monsters and bad sick and evil.. and even if not all that most people just don’t care about anyone except themselves.. then even after all the trauma and misery of life u usually gonna get sick and die.
Becoming a good person through that much abuse, is like being a warrior. Despite the evil coming at you at your most impressionable years. You defeat all of those mentally perverted abusers with every good deed you perform. You should emotionally feel very comfortable standing tall compared to the average person. You have a lot of inner strength.
You cry most when you discuss the support and compassion bc you never had that and that is all you wanted ❤
I feel so sorry for the children of poor, ignorant, addicted, and/or immoral ppl. Sets them up for so much turmoil in life. You wonder why so many kids act out or have such severe issues early. You never know what they've been through. Some of those kids turn into adults that repeat what has happened to them. Neglect and poverty is often the common denominator. Being 24 now Ik why they had those reactions and it hurt me that my “village” is even like that even decades later . It’s sad that the people you think will love you will be the first ones to hurt you , use you , take from you and more . I was trafficked when I was 12 by men outside my family home, I think bottling it in ruminating and asking why causes me to not be well and now I'm physically disabled. I confronted my main abuser/trafficker in July after not seeing him for years and have been really unwell in hospital since with physical symptoms. What a strong woman I have been molested and raped when I was a child, from 3 months to 16 years old I was molested multiple times and raped at 16. I was also raped in my early 20's when I was 23 I was too intoxicated to consent to anything and I just remember being dropped off down the street and I walked home crying. Hearing your story is so hard but so impactful for others that have and may be struggling with the same thing. All my love to you and your healing and your children ❤️

This woman and all children deserved to be kept safe. So many times she was failed by those who were supposed to protect her. She is also why with my own children we name our genitals with real names and we don’t let people touch us and we don’t keep secrets.

After all the trauma, when I saw you break out into laughter, while speaking about your grandma (father's mom) I knew then you was loved. That you found some trust and joy after all the betrayal in your life. They took your innocence but not your God given light. You can still witness and understand what's good in your life... that's powerful! Thank God you made it through...
