A standard “learning” protocol is to force students to sit down at a desk and chair, get out the work that took time out of their leisure, hand out discipline for those who don’t comply, and lecture them for hours and have them take notes. Needless to say most of us forget the stuff we learned over the summer. School’s response to this was to simply re-lecture them the next grade, totally not invest in a more efficient teaching method, No! What kind of school would that be? An effective one? No. Here we prepare you for more school. At the last grade, congratulations! You completed this wild ride. But I have some bad news. Only 2% of what you learned was useful, (depending on your career.) so good luck with your life, I guess you’ll live to- wait, we took up most to all of your childhood. Well in that case, enjoy the REST of your sad, miserable life. So another flaw would be the teaching methods. So with all that wrapped up, I’d be pretty reasonable to say that the education system is REALLY screwed up.

I had algebra 1st period of the morning at 7:05 🙃 who does that! I always slept In that class, my teacher ended up giving me a “Most likely to mistake algebra for nap time” award 😂 I honestly didn’t know I slept that much in that class till that day
I remember in grade 8, our teacher for some reason brought in this dude to talk about bob dylan and that type of music. I would look around each day during the lesson and 90% of the students fell asleep. I can never get comfortable enough to sleep at school
