- I woke up in Barrio "Baylao" at Kumar's Uncles house...
Walking around the Barrio I found myself looking at some really interesting stuff! Dirty Kitchens, Bamboo ladders, manoks for sabong...
Even Kumars Uncle was climbing coconut trees to collect the fruit and make fruit salad!
This video is incredibly raw! I just asked Kumar and a friend Hareul to randomly roll the camera as I walked around! There was so much random stuff I wanted to show you.... a few things you can find in "The Barrio".
You can call this movie "Walking around the Barrio!"
Super Apir!

Stress-free life. You only hear animal sounds. No police, fire truck and ambulance wang wang all the time. You're a lucky foreigner to be able to experience this life style. Peace to you Kyle. Amping sa kanunay. God bless and protect you Always.
I'm really amazed at how much you appreciate the simple life that most Filipinos practice. Padayun lang Kulas, suroy pa more! ^_^

Dirty kitchen is what Filipinos call the back kitchen that use wood or charcoal for cooking as there is so much smoke out of the use of firewood and that is why it has to be at the back of the house. It is not because the kitchen is dirty....

I missed my village life cooking, using Firewood as our propane gas. Rice has a better taste with the unusual Aroma. There's no place like home as they say. I hope I could go back someday, missing much of the calm environment and the early TWEETS of the EARLY MORNING BIRD.

Yes Kulas, the barrio life is good, no pollution, grow your own food supplies and a great place to enjoy life. It might not be the envy for those living in big cities, but live less stress compared to those living in a rat race environment. You are one lucky man to experience all of these. God bless

Like she said, sabong means cockfight. The roosters used in sabong are called "sunoy" or "manok panabong" meaning, roosters for sabong.
A rooster in Tagalog is "tandang".
