- Andrew had to work while I was in Roanoke, so I decided I'd take my old car out for a deep cleaning. Turns out his local car wash replaced all the automatic systems since my last visit. On the upside, the soft touch bay was upgraded to an Istobal machine. First one I've come across.

Awesome automatic car wash
The dryer did not drop down and contour the vehicle. Thats why the dryer did horrible. I went here by the way and filmed the exact bay. I also did the Washworld Razor. The paystation was acting weird as heck at the Razor.

Istobal actually discontinued manufacturing the M'Nex series in the US. Consider yourself lucky for finding this M'Nex machine.
I am lucky to find An M'NEX also.

They still make FLEX 5's
M'Nex washes dont appear in the US anymore, but they certainly do in France, they are the most COMMON.
Fun Fact: A good part of Istobal is mainly in Europe, and in America, the Istobal Machines are mainly Flex 5 Systems, but I never thought that they would install an MNEX 22

You should visit Robo car wash they replaced their automatic with a Oasis Xp. Also the spotless 79 Replace won their automatic with a washorld hi velocity wash.

The only Istobal I saw with onboard dryers had a contouring dryer and it worked a lot better. I assume this system had it but it didn’t work for some reason.

The contouring dryer on the top was broken. Although the side dryers were working. If you take a look at the video of the Istobal that I did at the Edith Chevron, you'll see what I meant when I say "contouring dryer." That video is on the playlist "Istobal Car Washes", and it's actually the first video on that playlist.
A car wash called Galena Car Wash at a 76 Gas station in Reno (used to be cheveron) used to have a tunnel system with a conveyer. They replaced the tunnel system with this system and removed the conveyer, you can kinda see the remains of it though.
There was one gas station in Earlwood that has an istobal m nex22 with black brushes when my dad was getting pizza i watched this Suzuki Swift in the bay after the brushes stopped spinning the wash got stuck and the car drove off but it was working fine we went in the car wash had a nice wash.

The sad thing is Andrew always forgets this place has three automatic bays and he always blows it off and goes to Zips or some other place

Well, tunnel washes do tend to clean better then IBA systems.

I can bet the third bay is also an istobal because in the past in the razor had I believe a mark 7 aquajet and other the two were a soft touch mark 7
Both of my local carwashes have interesting automatics and manuals, one is a newer system I've never seen elsewhere the rest are either older or kinda uncommon systems, both would be worth a video if you're ever down in the Champaign/Decatur IL area

@@thecarwashesandmorechannel2892 One is a super wash the other is part of a small business complex that consists of catering, an ice and water machine, a body shop, and a car wash
@@vacexpert2020 Super washes usually have a rare Monorail Supermatic. I found a monorail thats at another car wash that is ONE OF MAYBE TWO IN EXISTENCE. AND A PROTOTYPE LASERWASH 4000, LAST IN EXISTENCE! So, even if Super wash monorails are rare, we have some even more rare systems down here in the rockford area.
@@thecarwashesandmorechannel2892 I believe the other 2 near me, that being Decatur and Champaign have upgraded while the Monticello location, the one mentioned earlier, still has the original system, the owner having purchased any and all replaced systems to disassemble for parts, the car wash across the street from said Super Wash has an extremely rare system they just installed, it's orange and has mention of being used by some supercar company that I believe is Italian

You know we once had three futura ssa systems here in ottumwa Iowa but unfortunately now there is only one that is a very old one and the other two are gone sadly
