🚢 We start our journey with a scenic return ferry trip from Morocco to Spain. The views from the ferry are breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of the Mediterranean Sea.
🚌 Upon arriving in Spain, we hop on a bus that takes us to the border. The anticipation builds as we approach Gibraltar, known for its rich history and stunning landscapes.
🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Then comes a unique experience - walking across the Gibraltar airport runway to reach our accommodation. Yes, you heard that right! The runway intersects with a main road, making for a one-of-a-kind stroll!
🛥️ Our destination is the luxurious Sunborn Yacht Hotel. Anchored in Gibraltar, this superyacht hotel offers comfort and elegance, and it's where we rest and rejuvenate for the adventures ahead.
🚌 The next day is filled with exploration and discovery. We take a tour bus up the Rock of Gibraltar, a landmark steeped in history. Our first stop is the fascinating network of caves, each telling a story of the past.
🏰 We delve into history at the Siege and Second World War tunnels, witnessing the remnants of conflicts that shaped Gibraltar. Then, a delightful encounter with the famous Barbary Macaques - Gibraltar's playful and curious monkeys.
🚶‍♀️ Our journey back down is just as exciting. We walk via the ancient Moorish Castle, a testament to Gibraltar's rich cultural tapestry.
🚠 Not satisfied with just one trip up the Rock, we return the next day, this time ascending via the cable car for a different perspective. The views from above are simply stunning, offering a panoramic view of the region.
🌟 Each moment of this journey, from the bustling streets of Morocco to the serene heights of Gibraltar, has been a blend of adventure, culture, and luxury. We've seen history etched in caves, laughed with monkeys, and lived in a yacht-turned-hotel.
