Four Days in Fairytale Strasbourg
Our family recently spent a delightful four days in the charming city of Strasbourg, France. This historic gem, located in the Alsace region, enchanted us with its unique blend of French and German influences.
One of the highlights was visiting the awe-inspiring Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. This stunning Gothic masterpiece, with its intricate stone carvings and soaring spire, left us in complete awe. We also wandered through the picturesque Petite France quarter, with its charming half-timbered houses, quaint canals, and flower-bedecked bridges.
No trip to Strasbourg would be complete without indulging in the local cuisine. Each morning, we started our day at a lovely bakery, where we sampled delectable focaccia bread and savory salami pretzels. For dinner one evening, we discovered a remarkable underground restaurant called Le Gurtlerhoft. There, we feasted on traditional Alsatian fare, including crispy rösti potatoes, tender cordon bleu, and even escargots (snails) for the more adventurous palates.
Strasbourg's blend of French and German cultures created a truly unique atmosphere, and we enjoyed every moment of exploring this captivating city on foot, taking in its sights, sounds, and flavors. It was a holiday we'll never forget!

la légation Américaine à Tanger fut la première propriété américaine en 1821 acquise à l'étranger suite au symbole d'amitié entre le Maroc et les USA en 1788. Puis une ambassade américaine a été ouverte en 1956 à Rabat la Capitale. C'est un lieu historique inscrit au registre américain depuis 1981.
