Fancy a spot of fresh Welsh air and rustic charm? Join us as we journey to the beautiful northwestern corner of Wales for an enchanting escape. Our adventure begins with a scenic hike amidst the rolling hills and verdant valleys that make this region renowned.
Next, we step back in time at the magnificent Penrhyn Castle, an imposing 19th-century neo-Norman estate that offers a fascinating glimpse into the luxurious lifestyles of the Welsh gentry. Marvelling at the sumptuous interiors and expansive grounds, one can't help but feel transported to a bygone era of sophistication and splendour.
Our Welsh wanderings then take us to the charming seaside town of Bangor, where we stroll along the iconic pier, breathe in the invigorating sea air, and perhaps indulge in a cheeky portion of traditional fish and chips.
Finally, we climb aboard the delightfully vintage Welsh Highland light gauge steam train for a nostalgic journey through the rugged landscapes of Snowdonia. Puffing and whistling, the locomotive whisks us from the slate-quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog to the picturesque harbour village of Porthmadog, treating us to spectacular mountain vistas along the way.
With its perfect blend of outdoor adventures, cultural treasures, and quintessential Welsh experiences, this trip promises to leave you utterly enchanted by the magic of North Wales. So grab a nice cuppa, settle in, and let the wanderlust wash over you!
