I still love him even after all he has put me thru and I love my wife after all she has done...that is what a real man is...not some pretend to be daddy like you want to praise.. so get your values checked...cause a real man steps up even when it will hurt him the most. Unlike women.. who will lay with deadbeats and then trick a good man because they are selfish and greedy and don't really care... which I suspect you are that type of woman.

Wow, I never expected anyone to reply or acknowledge my little comment, I despised what I thought was overly strict enforcement of the new rules I had to learn and adapt too with my twin brother and my new environment, after I grew up and had my first child, I had Chiari Malformation Decompression surgery and I realized after a few years what our gaurdians had done, they did everything they could to make sure our lives would be drastically different than what we experienced, I broke down and tears and deeply apologized for not being a better person, i am who I am today, a better man, than I would have been, left in the situation my twin and 3 sisters all being adopted out were in. My most favorite person in the world, my Granny, tried to take care of us but unbenoumced to anyone, she was eatup with cancer and could no longer do it, fortunately our Aunts and Uncles (whom had no children of their own) stepped up to the plate to take us in and we are all better off for it. I'm blessed and fortunate, even though life is extremely difficult at time Living With Chiari, I look forward to every day and they to be the best person I can be to all people.

I can relate to him I have a daughter who is now 18 I been her dad since she was 13 months old. In 2019 inwas diagnosis with lung cancer, and I thought I might break the promise I made to her and her sister and brothers by leaving her them if I died. Thank the lord and the doctors saved me and I made it to see her graduate and start college it was one of the best days ever. This man is strong it takes a lot to do this, but it is so so worth it. Kids need a father and a mother. Thank you for sharing.

Congratulations! This is really awesome, and I can totally relate to this moment. I adopted my stepdaughter when she was a little over a year old. My daughter will be 30 years old in April. She has turned into an amazing young lady, and we have a great relationship to this day. My daughter also made me a grandfather 16 months ago, and I am loving every minute of it. I’m 6’2” tall, weigh 230 pounds, I’ve been a soldier, police officer and a firefighter/EMT... not much can rattle my psyche. My next-door neighbor married a girl and had a baby with her. She had a three year old daughter, who she pressured him to adopt. Less than two years later, she was cheating on him and divorced him. He paid child support on that girl till she was 18 even he calls himself a chump. He said he loves the girl, but if he knew then what he knows now he would’ve never adopted her.

I raised 2 boys that were not mine for 10 years I lost one when he was only 19 but his brother still comes and visits me all the time and calls me dad to this day he was 5 and now he’s 37. I have 2 boys of my own and now I have a beautiful stepdaughter that was only 4 and now she’s 14 and I’ve been the only dad she’s had I love her just like all my other kids. And just today she told me I was the best dad ever ❤

Congratulations! This is really awesome, and I can totally relate to this moment. I adopted my stepdaughter when she was a little over a year old. My daughter will be 30 years old in April. She has turned into an amazing young lady, and we have a great relationship to this day. My daughter also made me a grandfather 16 months ago, and I am loving every minute of it. This video just goes to show that there still are some great people in this world. 🙂
