    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  Před 5 lety

      If you delete the resonator it would yea since the resonator is mainly there to eliminate drone. Where if you remove the mufflers it would just get loud but shouldn't affect the drone.
      So if you are looking to do this, I'd say do a muffler delete and keep the resonator if you are concerned about drone.

    If you look at Takeda’s own website and their own posted dyno graph their intake lost 6hp at power peak over stock intake, when running stock exhaust. 169 at the wheel stock intake vs 163 Takeda short ram. Dyno says it was done in Sport auto.

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  Před 3 lety +1

      Safe to say that the numbers at the bottom don't make sense compared to looking at the actual graph. The graph shows a clear gain throughout the whole rev range quite considerably.

      @@johnsimmons8456 In case you didn't know, after prolonged use in gdi engines, the recirculating fuel and oil builds up on the way back to be burned. Covering tubes restricting flow. Build up on the intake valve. All causing the engine to idle and drive roughly, decreasing fuel economy and engine life. You may not experience this for the first 50k miles or so, but as it builds up, you will notice it and it will cause issues further down the line. The oil catch can helps decrease it enough that you wont need to worry about using valve cleaners every oil change, but instead just need to dump the contents in the can every other oil change.

      I am looking to add the front lip, side skirts and back lip and also coilovers once I have the money.
      The grill is not changing. I might do a slight adjustment to it if I can find someone who can do what I want but otherwise that is staying.
