  • If you're planning on enlisting in the military and you have a degree this video is for you! I joined the military after graduating college in 2021. Here are some opinions I have and the experiences I have enlisting with a degree.
    If you're still in college, I would highly recommend looking into the ROTC program.
    If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up!

    These videos are appearing at the right time in my life. Currently at a crossroads of joining enlisted, rather than trying to apply for OTS with just a degree and little leadership experience. Thank you for your videos!

    Thank you for the advice. I am attending Meps today to complete my asvab and the comprehensive medical and physical exam. Hoping to get enlisted as a public affairs specialist.

    Air Force OTS is ridiculously hard to get into unless you have a specialized degree (I.e medical/engineering), went through ROTC, or the Academy. It can be done but it’s very, very hard.

    I currently have an AA in public administration and am currently enrolled at a 4 year public university for Communications but I just started and have a year and a half left. I would really like to join the AF to Public Affairs. Would I be better off finishing school or should I join now? What are the benefits in either choice?

    Never considered rotc. But now that I’m graduating and have taken a summer internship in accounting, I realize I don’t feel a great sense of purpose here on the civilian side. I’ve always thought about joining the military since high school but never pursued it either. I always thought joining would mean participating in something bigger than myself.

    I have one more semester of college left do you think the military would pay for my school if I go back and get an associate degree?

    The biggest thing for me if I do the masters degree just to do rotc is I’m 31 right now so I’d almost be 34 by the time I’m done just to be an officer but that might be better than being 34 and still enlisted I guess

    Can you do four more semesters just to do rotc if you already have a degree?

    I have a. Bachelor’s degree in political science and want to be a public affairs officer. Do I still go to bmt or go to ost.

      If you join the AF and get picked up for commission you go straight to OTS.

    Question: If you come with some college credits with a promotion, do you get that rank promotion E2/E3 after you graduate basic training or as soon as you start basic training?

    • @TheWealthyWarrior_
      @TheWealthyWarrior_  Před 6 měsíci

      If you come in with enough college credits you will receive E3 pay during the whole BMT process and onward.

      @@TheWealthyWarrior_ What about if you have a master's degree? Will you be a E4 or E5?

      @@jaecaliente if you have a masters I would really encourage you to go the officer route. As far as I know you’ll still be an E3
