    Thanks to the simple one-person set-up, delegate more duties to the dawdlers while managing a quick configuration of the Instant-Up design. The strong and sturdy frame structure also enables stability in adverse conditions - so you can rough it rural from light gusts to loaded gushes.
    Owed to Coleman’s Darkroom technology blocking up to 95% of light, and Darkroom fly for adjustment - sleep well into the sunlit mornings without vivid invasive haze. Enjoy homelike comfort beyond the backyard with a full polyester fly plus awning poles for stretching out in your outback hangout. With guy rope tabs on the tent inner for additional anchoring, the heavy-duty PE floor has this portable palace protected from impact too. Ventilated door, window, and ground panels enable defense against blood-sucking demons and air-control in claggy, muggy conditions.
    The Coleman Instant Swagger 3P with Darkroom Tent is peppered with the perks of a tent while boasting the compact, humble, easy-to-bundle convenience of a swag.

    I tend to travel solo, this thing would be a palace for one. I would probably put the bed parallel to the door, across the back side. I really like that you could leave the awning up, but still close off the door to the weather. Lots of great set-up options, depending on your weather conditions. It's tall enough, you might even be able to use a low camp chair inside it.
    You folks do a really good job with these videos. The vast majority of the stuff I can't get here in Canada ( unless I want to import it myself), but it's still great to see all the great camping gear you have in Australia.

      Thanks so much for watching!
      You'd definitely have room for a camp chair - possible a small table aswell.

    We have one of these for the kids (Fits 2 perfectly with room to spare). Perfect for them while the wife and I enjoy the 6P Pop Up all to ourselves =)

    Its clear to me the quality of any of Bens productions is the most honest performance and production of any available product at the time. And I think this tent is a good bet for Moreton Island.

    Does this tent have a mesh footprint like the other Coleman Instant Up tents?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      Nothing specific for this tent, Gryphon, you can always use a smaller sized OZtrail Ultramesh tarp though - www.snowys.com.au/ultramesh-tarp. ~ Ben

    The black backing appears to only be on the fly. Am thinking if you use it without the fly in summer then it would offer nothing over the cheaper version. Is that correct.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před rokem

      Essentially, yeah, but putting the coating on the inner fabric would reduce breathability. Further to this, having a fly on in summer gives you a sort of insulation barrier as the sun is hitting the fly rather than directly on the fabric inner.
      The most comfortable setup in terms of climate control for summer is to put up all windows and vents, and put the awning out to cast as much shade as possible whilst maximising airflow through the tent.

    Hey Snowy's Fam :) How water proof would these Tents be? I know Ben said 1500mm.... but in the real world what would that be? a storm? occasional rain? light drizzle only? Cheers :)

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety +4

      1500mm should keep you dry in all but the absolute worst of weather, Dons Shed. I've had fabrics on a different tent rated at 1500mm keep me dry in tropical storms, this tent will be no different. ~ Ben

    What would be a comfortable air mattress thickness that would fit, preferably queen sized ?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 3 měsíci

      The standard camp mat thickness is 10cm for self inflating air mats, depending on the brand & quality thats generally more than enough for comfort.

    Is it my imagination or are the zipper gussets on the wrong surface. They appear to be on the window flap facing up when they should be on the tent panel facing down to protect the zipper from water egress... This seems to be a design flaw in adverse wet weather conditions potentially funneling water into the tent through the zipper fabric and zipper teeth ...

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      This is a question I raised when these first came to market, Bruce, but it has not been a problem and we have sold a heck of a lot of the original version Swagger which have the same design. ~ Ben

    Would this be warmer than the normal version in winter? I’m considering getting the normal version for a camping weekend coming next month but I am worried I’d be cold in it..

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety +1

      The Darkroom feature won't add any warmth, Rachel, it's best to use good sleeping gear rather than rely on your tent for warmth. We've provided some good info here - czcams.com/video/527OcwiPwH8/video.html. ~ Ben
