it's just a really good moba game and there is no competition. Low learning curve and 30 minute games. Dota 2 appeals to a much older audience and has longer games even though its a good game too

the music is insane art is insane champion quote and designs are insane and lore idgaf. If there was more build diversity and less snowflake employees that allowed you to type and talk in game, would be almost perfect.

Forsen recently started playing LoL and I was amazed at how bad the game looks now. Both the graphics and style are like from games for mobile phones. The popularity of LoL is an example of good marketing, although the game loses to Dota in all respects.
