This is the first time that I've seen this method and didn't want to run and hide in my closet while crying! Thank you for the good camera angle that allows me to clearly see the moves you make. Also, thanks for going slowly.
For some reason the yarn will not go through the knot and it’s getting super frustrating, does anyone have any advice on how to get it through because I’m starting to contemplate whether I should do knitting now
I can't get my tension right with this method, and now my pinky hurts. I'm tired of casting on so slow, that's the boring part. Any good videos on continental stitch? That's the faster one, right?
This is just some yarn leftover I had. I don't think it wool. For beginner(to practice) I would use recommend yarn that less slippery. And not very thin
I watched this at least 50 times. When I do the first slipknot, the second one becomes a knot but the third one on look okay. My other problem is, that it's knitting the tail, so do I need a longer tail in order to cast on the entire length of the needle? I can't find a way for it pull from the spool. I just want it to look clean. Thanks.
With this method - you need long tail (it all depends on how many stitches you need) more stitches - longer tail. I sometimes will do few stitches just to see how much yarn it will take.
They all should look the same, practice helps (I made so many mistakes and still do) thank you for watching video - this is my favorite method to cast on
@@KaterinaKnittingUPDATE: I got it! You were right, you need practice. My mistake was that when I went under the thumb, over the finger I wasn't coming back through cleanly. So my first Loop instead of making a slipknot always made a knot. But I was in the hospital for 4 days last week and I wish I could attach a picture, but I got it! It's a beautiful way to do it. I am visually impaired and I'm trying to find a way that I can do it without seeing it. This isn't it, but it's a fun way to do a long tail cast on! Thank you. ❤
There are many easier methods then this u just need to learn how to do a slip knot and then just make slip knots on the needles ( this is not the best way to explain it but there are many videos explaining it for beginners)
I think I need a tutorial on the tutorial
😂

I have one too. Great demo!
Thank the goddess I found this again🙏🙏🙏
Nice
I also appreciate you going slowly.
Do you always use both knitting needles or can you use one?
I have .000001 knowledge of knitting, thanks!
I always use 2 - it makes it easy to knit your first row.
Why two needles together are used to cast on?
To have loose first row
What size is the needle
Why does it need two sticks?

BRO STOP PLAYING WITH THE YARN
HOW DO I SAVE THIS VIDEO TO MY PHONE
You could screen record while watching. I think you can download directly from CZcams as well. But never tried that.
This is surely not for beginners
This doesn't work
Go slower
