So glad you guys recognized that Aizen destroyed The Cleaner for Ichigo. A lot of people see Isshin training Ichigo here as plot armor but they're forgetting Aizen doesn't do "random." Everything Aizen's done so far has had a specific intent behind it. It's so strange for a Shounen but the Big Bad of the arc hasn't given up on the MC getting stronger lol For whatever reason, Aizen wants PEAK Ichigo, and he's not settling for anything less.
Ultimate strength means nothing if you don't have someone powerful enough to test it on.
Oh boy, hard not to drop spoilers. But let's say that Aizen wanted to see what Ichigo could become if pushed to evolve.

Ichigo being the being that Aizen has tried to experiment to achieve through various means and mediums and never did, and Ichigo was his ultimate experimental success, albeit pure luck

2. No matter how dire things might be, Bleach will hit you with comedy for no reason at all

Dad casually saying "getsugatensho" and throwing out one that was arguably bigger and longer lasting than one Ichigo has done is such a momemt.
The anime got the attack wrong, and only corrected it in the most recent arc. Isshin's getsugatensho is a fire attack that creates a large explosion at close range (it was black and white in the manga and the anime creators didn't realize this), as opposed to an energy attack at medium range.
@The Progressive Cynic His sword wasn't even released for it to be a fire attack (which begs more questions about how he did it). The (spoiler btw) stuff you're talking about actually included the release command.
@@theprogressivecynic2407 wrong. It is exactly like this in the manga. You are forgetting that this is his sealed sword and not shikai/bankai.
Getsugatensho is an attack that any soul reaper of a captain level can use biyakuya said that in the earlies when he fought ichigo . Ichigo has not been using zangetsu's true power
@@marqchandler2845 I wouldn't say any captain level shinigami can do getsuga tensho. Only one other shinigami than isshin/ichigo (urahara) has done it

A lot of other reactors missed the point of Aizen destroying the cleaner. You guys just casually breaks it all down effortlessly. I can't wait to see your reaction when everything unfolds. Also, Aizen will say something in the next episode and it will prove your theory about him wanting Ichigo to get stronger.

Getsuga Tenshou is more of hereditary clan technique of ichigo and his Dad's bloodline most likely
Isshins Getsugatensho is a close ranged sword slash based move while Ichigos Getsuga is a projectile type

Yeah the Holyoke might be forcing Aizen to let Ichigo live so that Ichigo can get strong enough to save it from Aizen. Just a theory I don't know but this last episode got me wondering what's going on with that because it almost seemed like Aizen was upset with gin like you better not kill Ichigo.

Let's just say, all of Aizen experiments thus far has all been nth but failure and had to use Hogyouku to guide the experiments to work out well, but most of them were half assed as you seen how Aizen just dissed on Vizards and Arrancar
Ichigo however, despite being pure fate and luck, was his ultimate and best experimental result
He has more in store for Ichigo, and if you paid attention to his actions and dialogue, nth he done or said were meaningless banter, every single one of them had an intention behind it, one that builds a bridge to another

P. S. Any Captain Level fighter can use the Ghetto Superstar. I believe Byakuya says something along those lines early on. Regardless, the attack is only a concentrated blast of energy from a sword. We've seen a number of Zanpakuto do something similar already, and Urahara pulled it off in the first place when he was teaching Ichigo. It's not wholly exclusive to Zangetsu.
Which begs the question, if Zangetsu claimed the attack to be his ability, yet it's an ability any Captain Level fighter can use with the know how...
What secrets are Zangetsu keeping from Ichigo about his abilities, and why is he keeping them?

No, all bleach movie are fillers and they don't make any sense in terms of normal plot timeline. Except the first one, I think, Memories of Nobody.
They are still a lot of fun though. Except the last one, hell-verse.
Bleach has four movies but just like most shonen anime they aren't canon.

Bleach is a bit weirder because Kubo picks and chooses whatever he likes in these movies to make it canon. He liked some stuff from the Hell movie but the movie as a whole is not cannon In TYBW anime he added one of the Zanpakuto rebellion fights on Byakuya's flashback and etc so unless mentioned otherwise yes, the movies aren't cannon but there is room to interpret
