What does ASMR stand for?

What IS ASMR?
A feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus.
Examples of different ways to experience ASMR~
🧠Physical ASMR
Feeling calm, sleepy, tingly or satisfied while having your hair brushed/styled/touched, getting your forehead rubbed or your face touched softly while getting makeup applied. Someone softly tracing upon your back.
🗣Auditory ASMR
Feeling calm, sleepy, tingly or satisfied while listening to a particular sound that triggers you. There are several different sounds that may trigger this feeling; such as a whispered voice, typing on a keyboard, water swishing sounds, listening to someone write, turn pages in a book, tap on objects, etc.
👁Visual ASMR
Feeling calm, sleepy, tingly or satisfied while observing someone create art, slice foods, carve soap, wood, candles, trace over shapes/letters with their finger or a pointer etc.

I love so, so much how you write on the paper. It's so rare to find a video where people are writing with a pen on paper that is as well done as this one!!!
I think this is one of the reasons I loved being read to as a kid. The book sounds were always so relaxing!☺️💖

I remember the first time I had ASMR was in school when we were supposed to be reading a book by ourselves. One of the girls next to me was turning the pages like this and I was in a trance from all the tingles ( had no idea what it was back then but needless to say I couldn't read my book ) Was some of the best "ASMR" I have had in my life because it was so natural and unexpected.

Hello Prim, I think this video contains three of your best triggers. The page turning is a favorite, always sure to bring a relaxed sound. I like the paper folding which has an interesting sound.The writing sounds are excellent as a trigger for relaxation and one of my favorites. This video has a nice quiet atmosphere.

Love the sound of these thick high quality illustrated pages you turn during the first third! You always look so concentrated on what you are doing! This is pretty adorable, Prim... But the last third was awesome too. The way you write on your spirale notebook sounds a lot like when a teacher marks some papers. Now that I'm no more in the shoes of the student, I can safely enjoy such a tingly experience!
Thank you for this! Page turning and rubbing is probably my biggest trigger, and it's almost never done! Some of the most popular triggers (tapping, mouth sounds, etc.) do nothing for me.

Friend A could not agree more!! I can’t stand the sound of pencil writing, and sharpie writing (unless the sharpie is on some sort of plastic, like labeling a ziplock bag). Pencil and sharpie writing literally make me skin crawl...but pen?! Oh man, it’s the best! Her one measuring video is great because of the pen writing. I’ve probably listened to it 30 times in the last couple of weeks haha

You forgot to mention "unintentional hand movements" in the title, those are just as important! I enjoyed the sound of you drawing lines and circles on the paper a lot! However, the little paper folding was my favorite trigger on the entire video, I didn't expect it to be that relaxing!
