    The Deacy amp is what gave Brian May the signature Queen sound. John Deacon was the silent technical genius aside from the many great songs he has written for Queen. He deserves his privacy, he has already made his mark and has nothing left to prove. God bless him.

    • @stephaniejooste3879
      @stephaniejooste3879 Před 3 lety +18

      Absolutely, I have always been the silent one who did wat I knew best. I may have never been seen as the "Great one", but those that were in front knew they had my backing, and the mere fact that I was there gave them the courage and will to go further because they knew that I would do anything in my power to see them succeed.
      When you know that there is someone there at your back it gives you the wings to fly to greatness!

      When I heard of the Deacy amp, the person writing the comment implied it was invented by Brian. But I suspected that with a name of Deacy amp, it was clear that Deacon did the engineering work.
      I am sick of hearing John Deacon being called "our dear friend John"...somehow it feels like a backhanded compliment. It is just weird.

      I hope he has not lost his feelings for music. I hope he sometimes plays his bass. So many losses can cause a trauma and lead to depression. A hard, lonely and very dark place.

    He was always painfully shy . Freddy used to bring him out of himself they were incredibly good friends and when Freddy died John started to fade away from the limelight. He was incredibly uncomfortable with the limelight all the way through his career with Queen. So it was only a matter of time before he walked away from it . Just because he has left queen doesn't mean he isn't still close friends with Rodger or Brian. It was Freddy who kept them all together anyway. John even hated doing interviews all the way through his membership of queen. But the man is a legend on bass. Brilliant bass player but was always the quiet man of the band

Freddie was the only one that gave John Lots of confidence and a lot of Drive, and John did come out of his shell.. John never personally associated with Roger or Brian, only thou music, Roger and Brian saw that he was a little difficult to get on with.. I don't think that was the case, John didn't want to get close with anyone incase he lost them.. all stemmed from loosing his dad at an early age. and the only person who John took to was Freddie..
