All I hope is that he's happy living with his family
I think he will never be ok, the lost of Freddy made a really huge damage.
@@JorgeLourenco000 Let's hope that is not true and he is happy. But no doubt, great impact on his life. So many want to embrace him. But we all know, he likes his privacy. He is loved.
Yeah... great...
Love Linkin Park,Happy Post Easter.
He fine. Still lives in London on a normal English street with his family. He now looks after the business side of thing.
"Deaky, our dear friend John..." you can see, how Brian still loves the man as a friend! Saying this, Brian is a true human being with a big heart. Nothing to say against him
They Lived so Long together. They did so Long together. They had the best and worst day together. Hell yeh they will be Friends for everytime.

So warm words! Directly from Brian’s heart!
They were genuine Brothers! 😢 Imagine living in your older brother for all those years pretty much without being apart? 😢😢 it would have been horrible for any one of us!! 😢😢❤❤ I still love 💕 him though! ❤❤
@@BobTaileagreed 👍
The highest compliment that can be paid to Deaky is that he's an absolute legend
The Deacy amp is what gave Brian May the signature Queen sound. John Deacon was the silent technical genius aside from the many great songs he has written for Queen. He deserves his privacy, he has already made his mark and has nothing left to prove. God bless him.
Absolutely, I have always been the silent one who did wat I knew best. I may have never been seen as the "Great one", but those that were in front knew they had my backing, and the mere fact that I was there gave them the courage and will to go further because they knew that I would do anything in my power to see them succeed.
When you know that there is someone there at your back it gives you the wings to fly to greatness!
When I heard of the Deacy amp, the person writing the comment implied it was invented by Brian. But I suspected that with a name of Deacy amp, it was clear that Deacon did the engineering work.
I am sick of hearing John Deacon being called "our dear friend John"...somehow it feels like a backhanded compliment. It is just weird.
John Deacon, according to Freddie, saved Queen in the 70's by turning a wise eye to their finances and getting a serious problem fixed. He still keeps an eye on the finances.
@@chicochi3 I only hope he's doing well and enjoying the privacy he deserves.
@@southvaron757 I don't know, how could I, but always have a strange feeling he is not well. The loss of his father at a young age, the dramatc loss of Freddie, the loss of Queen, his withdraw from Brian and Roger and his musical career.
I hope he has not lost his feelings for music. I hope he sometimes plays his bass. So many losses can cause a trauma and lead to depression. A hard, lonely and very dark place.
I hope I'm totaly wrong and he is able to live a happy life with his family and music is still a part of his life.
Deacy's life was built around love, trust, talent and respect. That was torn from him in such a cruel, heartless manner when Freddy passed away those decades ago. The only hope I have is that he found a peace in whatever he is doing today. John, if you ever read this, all Queens fans miss you and want you to be happy in life. Thank you for your talent and dedication to Freddy and Queen.
We still love you, John. ♥️🌹♥️
👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for writing such a nice comment, I enjoyed reading it and appreciate it immensely. Many of us feel the same way.

Got to admire his loyalty and love towards Freddie
@@somnplex007unfortunately yes, many licensed ads have ruined queen for me
@@somnplex007 plastic queens
@@somnplex007kind of agree, but lets not forget that queen was also theirs, and just to bury it would have been impossible after having created so much for the band. John was the one who enjoyed the rockstar life the least and at that age probably wanted it to throw in the towel anyway and Freddie s departure was the nail in the coffin.
@@somnplex007absolutely 💯
@@somnplex007 i.m.o. you can't really blame them for keeping on rocking
He was right though wasn't he, queen without Freddie isn't queen!
Freddie without queen isn’t queen either … it’s touching how much they influence each other really
@@anja6983 agree
I absolutely agree with John.. John said No Freddie, No Queen.. its finished, and he's soo right.. xx
Roger and Bryan know this too. That's why every subsequent tour was labeled Queen + Paul Rodgers or Queen + Adam Lambert. They aren’t trying to fool anyone.
Freddie and John had an awesome and untold friendship.
Myslíš, že měli něco "společného"
Yeah, the movie didnt really show that closeness they had, but the opposite
Missing John so much, him, his bass lines, his lyrics, his masterpieces. Hope he is living happily with his family. I wish he knew how much we miss him
How unfortunate it must have been for John. Losing one of your best friends! I feel extremely sad to lose Freddie..so I can imagine how sad it was for the other members of Queen. God Bless you and may your hearts heal in time.
roger's voice doesn't change at all, it scares and shock me the same time...
He was always painfully shy . Freddy used to bring him out of himself they were incredibly good friends and when Freddy died John started to fade away from the limelight. He was incredibly uncomfortable with the limelight all the way through his career with Queen. So it was only a matter of time before he walked away from it . Just because he has left queen doesn't mean he isn't still close friends with Rodger or Brian. It was Freddy who kept them all together anyway. John even hated doing interviews all the way through his membership of queen. But the man is a legend on bass. Brilliant bass player but was always the quiet man of the band
Everyone’s heart goes out to John and also Roger and Brian. How incredibly sad for all of them. Freddie was the best and now we all miss him so much!
Queen isn't the same without the Legendary Freddie Mercury R.I.P and John Deacon I Always Love ❤️ ♥️ Queen
So sad his eyes as it began
😘😘😘😘😘😢🙏
So few likes Man .. apparently only popular songs get the likes ... Despite White queen Is a Masterpiece... A Shame so few people got that reference
This video is more depressing than Black Friday in the hood
Ah! I love that song!
Queen II ... love those classic lyrics shabith
John lost his dad at a young age...he joined queen aged 19...freddie encouraged him and in respect was a father figure to him(even though he was only 5 years older)....I hope John lives a long and happy life.
Why didn’t we see any of this in the movie?
@@guybrushgetchell2945 There are a lot of problems with that movie, actually. The music over the theater PA system was insanely cool, though!
@@guybrushgetchell2945there’s so much about that movie that isn’t really factual. It’s a good movie. But completely truthful? No
I really wish I could meet Deacy one day, and shake his hand, and give him a hug and tell him I'm very thankful for him and what's he's done for his fans
😢😢
Agree--just a "thank you for all for all of the music and joy." And it's not like it will ever go away, either.
Elton john hug john deacon
That was so fantastic
Comes over as a slightly shy unassuming man but an utter legend and an unquestionably vital component of one of greatest rock bands in the history of rock bands.
John’s always been my favourite. I kind of like the shy, stay in the background, underdog type of person. He’s brought us some great songs & amazing live performances. I hope he’s living his quiet life how he wants now & enjoying it. xxx
Malcom Young is a good example of that, for me. 🎸
Yeah me too.. He was my first love when I was 12 13 yrs old.. haha.. and still is and I'm 46 now.. He liked to be kept out of the spotlight due to shyness ... Freddie was the only one that gave John Lots of confidence and a lot of Drive, and John did come out of his shell.. John never personally associated with Roger or Brian, only thou music, Roger and Brian saw that he was a little difficult to get on with.. I don't think that was the case, John didn't want to get close with anyone incase he lost them.. all stemmed from loosing his dad at an early age. and the only person who John took to was Freddie.. I think because Freddie encouraged John became more confident then ever before, Freddie took John under his wing, and looked after him.. xxx
John will always be part of Queen. The signature bass riffs and sound he created are now legendary. We miss you Deaky.🤘🎸👑
Yeah, Queen will always be the four of them ❤
I got into playing Bass guitar by being inspired by John .. He was so underrated bless him, John Defo deserved wayyyy more recognition for being one of the top bass players of all time outthere, his quality of playing was f king amazing! Has you said, his unique bass riffs were absolutely incredible ❤❤❤ xx
I hope John has found some peace in his retirement.
He’ll always be loved and missed by all of us Queen fans.
Don't blame him what a legend him and Freddie were pretty much brothers
Oh poor John. It so sad he feels this way. I know missing Freddie is painful. I do hope he is well. I love Brian & Roger for understanding his decision.
I'm missing deaky :'(
He was genuine in his love for Freddie ❤
a great musician, a legend ... I can't believe he no longer plays the guitar ... it's his choice of life, he must be respected ... if he plays on stage again this would be an amazing event ! Please John, if you read these words, we are waiting for you ... forever !

John Deacon felt freddie loss more than anybody. Brian and Taylor still wish to carry on and thats their choice. I am very much in the Deacon camp. Its not the same without Freddie .
Totally agree with deacon.
Well said Sir !
There is no QUEEN
without the Regent 😊
Death impacts us all so differently.
For some it inspires us to do something great in connection with the person’s memory - to fulfill dreams, keep their’s alive, etc.
For others it is a sorrow so deep we just continue with that part of our life - we have to seal it off so it doesn’t swallow us completely.
It just makes me so sad for Deaky, though.
Brian DID SAY, “ publicly “ made me wonder! ❤❤
This is very wise and true.🙏
Where he was with Freddie is critical to the loss that we struggle with. He may have had a connection with Freddie that he couldn’t live without on stage. What a beautiful, talented band mate you and Freddie had!❤❤ Love to all!
Sure do miss you, John !! You were and still are the best bass player. MISS YOU !!
I feel him, He realizes that something doesn't fits, something... is missing, the pressure of having to act like your best friend isn't there, eats you. He's a Legend a deserves his space
Aww our deacyyy i hope hes doing better now at home with the people he loves, finally not being nervous
I love his bass playing, and his knowing when it's over 😘
I always admired John Deacon!!! Great guitarist, good person, personality! I hope he's ok and everything good in his personal life!
Everyone will remember John as he always was, hope he knows the joy the music they created will live forever. God speed mr nice guy.
Everyone handles grief differently, Deacy will always be remembered. I hope he can continue living in privacy, knowing he was a legend. Ask for help when needed. 💜
😥 Thank you Queen
I wish John Deacon every good luck. May he have peace and love always.
Thank you, John Deacon!!!
Yes. Moving to a place of happiness is good medicine and especially for those with families. ❤
Lord bless Deacy...he couldn’t do it without Freddie! It’s ok! We love you still and respect you as you retired! We miss you, but be well and be happy!
DEAKYYY I LOVE YOU SOU MUCH👑♥️♥️
Losing the heart of the band in Freddie was always going to end the band. Same when John lennon died, no way the beatles could ever get back together after that. I completely understand Deakys pov here. Must be heartbreaking. I don't blame the other two for still playing though. Im sure they just love doing it and perhaps they like to think it is honouring Freddies memory by playing on.
Do you know who else on the band’s death would end the band if Freddie lived?
@@thunderclaws3341No, who?
I.d never forget my first time I saw queen at the liverpool empire in the 70 tys the sights and smells guys with different badges of named groups on there denims comes back to me.
John Deacon did what felt best to him, which was to step back from the limelight after Freddie passed away.
I really hope he's happy and healthy!
John was the quiet one and obviously the loss of Freddie was the loss of the heart of this group. All the singers they've had will NEVER replace Freddie. I miss them all and the great music they made.❤
at the end Brian says it was the last time they played together in public, but I wonder if they still play together by themselves sometimes
I was thinking the same
I have read nothing to indicate that they ever did. Not even a rumor.

Everyone should leave him alone now and respect his privacy. The guy was part of one of the greatest groups of all time and has nothing to prove to anybody. I wish him long life and his health
Lol where exactly have you seen ppl asking him for more ??? We all Love and Respect him ❤ and he knows it.
Bless his heart. Clearly loosing one of his best friends had a massive impact on him and the rest of the band. I hope John is doing well and he has am amazing life, the queen fans love you ❤️
Poor John. You will always be loved.
I have recently lost someone THAT special in my own life and I can say that if it's not possible to get past that grief it just never feels the same, doing the things that you shared, even if it includes some other people who you shall always love just as much. I can't see myself doing some things that we shared before.
I understand. I recently lost my husband to Dementia. The anger and sadness were overwhelming especially when I had to go through our 50th anniversary without him! 😢😢
