    Here's the sound file krantzmerch.com/products/fish... it's not perfect because the piano is so quiet. So I included the Audacity file from both the mics and maybe you can do some magic.
    Many of you ask me for name of the songs I use in my videos. All songs are from Epidemic sounds. They are from Sweden and I love them.
    I will soon publish a list of songs I use. Also, I use a lot of sound effects If you listen closely. They are also from here! You can actually try them for free for 30 days. I have found no service even close to them and most youtubers use them for that reason. This is an affiliate link so this is the best day ever for you, me and them if you try it!

      My mother and first wife both played piano, and so once a year a piano tech always came by to tune. The older guys were retiring, so we seemed to be having a new tech every couple of years. Finally had some younger guys start showing up, but they would move on or change professions. The one thing I noticed was most of them were nice people with interesting lives. And I would always be treated to much beautiful piano music when they were done tuning and doing the " shake down" run on the piano. My all time favorite was a fifteen minutes long version of "Stairway to Heaven". So much feeling was in that Tech's version of the song. The second best time job I got in trouble for. The wife wanted the piano tuned, and when she was away I met a man in the bar who said he was a tuner, and for a case of beer, he would tune my piano. He tuned it in about an hour (I had never seen that style of tuning ever before or since) and he took off on ragtime music. He played and we both drank all night! But he tuned sort of sharp for his type of music, and that didn't make Momma happy! But I had one very enjoyable evening out of it and was only out a case of Blue. What fun.

    I've since learned that silk strings are used on a japanese instrument called a koto, and silk strings are a good "gut" string (idk, I'm using google too)
    So in conclusion,
    A silk string piano will probably give you a piano that won't detune.
    Because I am legitimately a biomedical engineer who knows about silk because it's a "biodegradable" biomaterial, and the stress relaxation of silk is pretty good (again, google, lmao)

      It's been a while since I've felt confident in a subject. The body's weird and it's hard to find hammered-out details, and a lot of stuff feels like conjecture that you consider true until it stops working.
      But it's also work that's meant to improve the medical field, and there's always something to learn, so it's gratifying in its own way.

    • @xXHydroDragonXx
      @xXHydroDragonXx Před 3 lety +3

      @@Netdawg honestly, it's very hard to go wrong with choosing classes. BME goes everywhere from biology to thermo. Knowing circuits and statistics won't hurt either.
      If you're in high school, your school will probably offer statistics. That's a good one to know, so you can interpret the data you get in the field.
      That one's a decent catch-all, since biomedical engineering is basically an umbrella term. More specialized classes would have to depend on what branch of BME you wanna pursue. If you want to make electrical devices like pacemakers, see if your school offers that kind of stuff. If you like the sound of stem cells...well, actually, I don't think highschools have courses like that, but worth a shot?
      Calculus might be worth going into as well. You'll likely retake Calc in college, (you don't have to, but going to college and adapting to the new environment is rough) but if you have experience in calculus beforehand, you can spend some extra time getting situated with the environment.
      As for classes that won't help you in this field, if a class focuses on quarks or theoretical physics, that's definitely beyond the scope of BME. xDD

  • @FranciscoTChavez
    @FranciscoTChavez Před 3 lety +2

    I mentioned this on the previous video, but I only saw that less than a week ago, so it might be worth repeating.
    As someone that used to play a nylon-string guitar, the string will do a lot of stretching over the first two weeks to three weeks after being strung onto the instrument. It might be safest to tune it once (and only once) a day during that time. Also, during the first week, the chances of the strings staying in tune for a full hour is quite low if you're playing it. As the string stretch-out, the amount of stretch in them will go down, but for the amount of tension that a guitar provides, it could be 6 weeks before you get rid of most of the stretch induced slack. The string will lose that stretchiness with time, but it does take time.
    Also, it might be a good idea to move to a thinner string for the higher notes/keys; there's a reason why guitars use different wire gauges for different notes. Since you are able to get proper sound in the mid-range with the current thickness of fishing-line, but not the higher notes, my gut tells me that the string (fishing-line) you are using for those notes is to heavy.
