I have a breathy voice when I sing in front of people but not by myself. It’s so frustrating. It’s like my anxiety goes “no don’t reveal your full voice! In case they hate it!” Even with vocal coaches. 🤦🏻♀️
9 months ago?! Hi! I hope you're doing better at singing btw! If you haven't realized it yet, you're supposed to do your best whether it's a coach or in front of an audience. Yes we all sound bad but with consistency and vocal exercises almost everyday you'll see results💯
My speaking voice is breathy most of the times. When speaking and singing I have to force my voice to diminish breathiness. What do I need to do to fix that? I hate it.

When you use too much air and sound like you're exhaling while singing. Whispering is a good example. You use more air so you can hear the breath as well as the tone. Does that make sense?
I used to have that low sharp voice when I sing, now not low notes not even high notes, and I can’t even talk there’s something like a whistling with the breathy voice when I talk 😭💔 how can I fix this ?
There’s this song called simple and clean by Utada Hikaru and that “hold me part” is where I’m having problem because it requires to be sang in a breathy voice like Mariah. But I ended up with a pitchy head voice or out of breath. Any advice on how to transition properly?
