Hey Adam-it’s Gabriel (known back then as “Musiciano”) I saw your video where your mentioned Jesse Nemitz forum. I just published my first book on singing titled “How To Sing Without Thinking” and thought you might want to know about it. I hope you get a copy and let me know your feelings about it.

I’ve been looking for really good videos to start me off. I’ve never really had singing training, but I do sing, but I wanna improve my technique and I have to say you really laid it out in a way that is understandable that I can really connect with and you really know what you’re doing and you bring in different techniques, and approach them from different perspectives, which is great for teaching, not to be too worried, but your videos are fantastic and I will be looking into your program soon

Hey I am a beginner in singing and piano. I wanted to become a songwriter. After how much time i wil learn to hum melodies over a chord progression...I heard that singing teaches you about humming melodies.

If we drop our jaw or make it loose, it will resonate freely..with slight nasality.. over using the nasal resonance will sound too nasal.

You changed the vowel when comparing the classical sound to the belt sound. I don't agree with the forcing down on the abdominals. It's more complicated than that.

I tried to sing with vibrato technique, but it's not happening lol

    • @Bobbroberg

That’s probably because you let too much air through too fast. That’s controlling the breath comes into play . I like to think about a balloon being full and if you let the air out slowly you can manipulate the sound. But if he let it out fast, it’ll sound like a fart. Same concept . This helped me.

Thanks, Adam, I do have a question. I haven't sang this song in a very long time and would love to go back to sing that very high last note, but whatever I try I do get there but then my jaw locks and I seem frozen and the note is not nice at all. Any thoughts? czcams.com/video/l_3Lvt9wU54/video.html

I'm totally disagree with your opinion about talking in lower scale or tone is bad for the voice in fact talking in low range is where the voice have the real and natural resonance like you have when you did as example and that's because the laryn is totally relaxed and is not receiving air pressure from the diaphragm. Now a soonest you begin to speak and use another tone much higher without using the diaphragm, the vibrato or the natural sound is lost it remaining in the back of the exsophagus, and the only way you can bring that pure sound to your face mask as resonance when you singing is adding pressure in the diaphragm but because nobody do that to talk that's why the voice turns to planes getting to the point of yelling in some case. Now vibrato has different levels or layers, the same way onions have many layers before reaching it's core, the tricky point is learn how to peal those layers but no from outside to inside as you do with the onions but from inside to outside what is mean you have to peal from the core of your vibrato from inside to outside until you reach the last layers what is means your face mask and when you be able to do that no matter what tone or scale you use to talk or sing then you ready learned how to use your voice correctly, no matter what voice you used chests or head resonance always gonna sound the same as you have in the deep voice if you know how to control your breath and maintaining the air column with your solid diaphragm support then you gonna be able to sing with resonance

@@Kourtney-ud3vl What I know is the result of many and many years of study and learning how the human voice works, including breathing, fisical, and health conditions and sound amplification, which can be used later for talk or singing correctly.

    Hi.
    Charles here.
Great way of explaining this……and also, thanks for the continued videos.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on other singers.
    Like Mariah Carey, ect….
She has lost so much vocal range and agility.
    Sincerely.
