what if you don't have a splatter brush, what is a good alterative tool? btw this painting is beautiful and you are a fantastic teacher. thank you for all these amazing tutorial videos. :)
So you can do splatters by Wacking or throwing a loaded round brush . Here are three ways i get stars , splatter and Snow on the canvas. This is at the part where I demo all three and its only about 5 minutes long. Let me know if it helps czcams.com/video/8yF5NpDdI4Q/video.html

My husband and I decided to have our own private "sip and paint" party, with just us two for date night. We chose this picture, and it was a ton of fun and they are gorgeous! Yesssss!!!!! 1 million percent fantastic Teacher!!!!! I use to do art in school as an elective and I use to do art classes as a young child too! I still draw but I want to paint! For the dots you could also use a number 2 pencil eraser end with a straight pin that has a round head, just as you can when painting fingernails! Love this painting by the way and trying it right now for the hubby! Thank you for the awesome tutorial!!! Beauty made easy! Love the pink hair

I randomly stumbled onto this via googling how to paint easy hearts.(for nail art, in my case) I saw this video & went with it on an intuitive push.
I love the technique, the painting, and your overall teaching style, but I have to say that I heard something that I think I needed to hear and is why I landed on this video out of all the possible suggestions my search provided. Hearts don't need to be perfect, and it's just not realistic to expect them to be. This applies both to my perfectionist impulse in my nail art, but more poignantly to my life in general right now.
I have everything to paint this, I think I'm going to shelve my nail art tonight and paint this instead! I have a new easel I've been dying to use anyway!

A tip for splattering if you don't have the brush----cut some bristles off a broom and tie them together with a twist tie!(you might want to swish in some soapy water,rinse and dry if broom is used) Outstanding instructions and a Great painting! Thank's for your efforts and sharing of knowledge.
