I live in Louisiana just across the line from the LCP area. I figured the deer were stunted due to lack of agriculture. Pines offer nothing & the mass corn feeder use doesn't help much nutritionally. I wish Louisiana would at least start a 4 point 14" spread rule to give them some quality. Coming from New England I let deer go my neighbors tell me were trophy size at 125"?? Guess I gotta adjust & improve my food plots. Also I think there's an October Rut cycle from what I've witnessed. Thanks for the expert information y'all's videos are extremely valuable. 👍🏻🦌🇺🇸

Could vary just depending on health or diet!

Is the graph showing the percent of mature antler growth potential in relation to age at the beginning of the presentation valid for all sub-species of whitetails? If so it would be helpful in making management decisions if reducing herd numbers was that year's management goals. If a 3 year old buck is showing below average antler development for the area then it could be removed to allow its "slot" to be filled by another with more potential.
