- Time for more MEGA TRUCKS, but this time in time trials, racing against the clock. Each truck got 2 race passes that were timed. Then, the 2 fastest of those times would move on to a sudden death race-off! Watch to see who wins. Trigger King R/C 4 Wheel Jamboree was on March 18, 2018 at our dirt track in Wentzville, MO.

The only thing I don't like about launching my rc mega mud truck, is those Fling King JConcept tractor tires tend to land hard. Like I brick LOL. With the huge tractor knobs the tire is stiff even with soft compound. So i run 120mm coilovers for maximum softness and travel, with light weight oil. Also what is a must is a stiff set of sway bars to keep that body roll to a minimum. Then keep handy spare bearings and dog bone wheel hex cup thingamajig 's to rebuild axle ends and use the long wheel nut that covers the threads completely.
You must be running the gold (hard) compound Flings. A lot of us run the blue (soft) compound and they land like butter if done with the right suspension setup.

Tom Cullett I run locked, might try open front. I have overdrive front. Locked makes it tip more but practice make perfect.
Ok I'm gonna ask a newbie question. What after they using for base chassis and drivetrain and can I buy one rtr?
