    i do 1/2 cup of oats, less then a cup of low fat fairlife milk, scoop of chocolate protein powder, tablespoon of greek non fat yogurt, pb2 powder, honey, a little chocolate chips semi-sweet, and mixed chopped nuts (pecan and peanuts). skip breakfast at work and eat about 10:30 for my lunch. love it with a protein shake on the side.

    Thank you for this recipe. I’ve been meal preparing and I wanted to try the overnight oats. The 1st time I made them, I used the wrong oats, the steel oats (it was suggested from another recipe). I gave it another shot with the Quaker Oats since that’s what I always eat. I LOVE this recipe. It taste like a desert. I blended mine the first time then in the morning topped with fruit, granola, and more honey. It tasted like a parfait. This time I’ll try it not blended. Thank you for helping me find another way to save money. I used silk unsweetened vanilla Almond milk and Oikos triple zero vanilla yogurt. Take care.

    Can we use only milk instead of milk and yougurt in these oats during weight loss diet?

    • @EktasKitchen
      @EktasKitchen  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, you can definitely use only milk in overnight oats and omit yogurt. Many people prefer using just milk for a variety of reasons, such as dietary preferences, lactose intolerance, or simply liking the taste and texture better. Here are a few tips to ensure your overnight oats turn out well when using only milk:
      1. **Choose Your Milk**: You can use any type of milk, including cow's milk, almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, or any other plant-based milk. Each will slightly alter the flavor and texture.
      2. **Adjust Liquid Ratio**: The typical ratio for overnight oats is 1:1 or 1:1.5 oats to liquid. If you prefer a creamier texture, use a bit more milk.
      3. **Add Flavor and Sweetness**: Since yogurt adds a tangy flavor and some sweetness, you might want to add a bit of honey, maple syrup, vanilla extract, or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg to enhance the flavor.
      4. **Include Chia Seeds**: Adding chia seeds can help thicken the mixture and add extra fiber and nutrients. They absorb liquid and swell, creating a pudding-like consistency.
      5. **Use Rolled Oats**: Rolled oats (also called old-fashioned oats) work best for overnight oats as they soften nicely without becoming mushy.
      6. **Soaking Time**: Make sure to soak the oats for at least 4 hours, but overnight is ideal for the best texture.
      By following these tips, you can create delicious and satisfying overnight oats with just milk.

    So why you put oats ? Do you not have any problem?

    • @EktasKitchen
      @EktasKitchen  Před 5 měsíci

      Combining milk and curd in overnight oats is generally safe for most people and won't cause harm. However, some individuals might experience digestive discomfort due to the combination of dairy products. It's best to listen to your body and adjust based on how you feel after consuming them together.
      We are taking almost on regular basis but in case if you don't want then pls feel free to use with milk or curd or even you can consider dairy free products like oats, almond milk

    Can we use any other seeds instead of chia seeds like pumpkin seeds during weight loss diet?

    • @EktasKitchen
      @EktasKitchen  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, you can use other seeds like pumpkin seeds in overnight oats instead of chia seeds. While chia seeds are popular for their thickening properties and nutritional benefits, other seeds can also provide texture, flavor, and added nutrients. Here are some alternatives and how they might affect your overnight oats:
      1. **Pumpkin Seeds**: These add a nice crunch and are rich in protein, healthy fats, and minerals like magnesium and zinc. They won't thicken the oats like chia seeds but will add a nutty flavor and satisfying texture.
      2. **Flaxseeds**: Ground flaxseeds are a good alternative as they also help thicken the oats slightly and are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and lignans. Whole flaxseeds won't thicken the mixture but can still be used for added crunch and nutrition.
      3. **Sunflower Seeds**: These provide a mild nutty flavor and a bit of crunch. They are a good source of healthy fats, protein, and vitamins.
      4. **Hemp Seeds**: These are softer than other seeds and won't add much crunch but are rich in protein, healthy fats, and a range of vitamins and minerals.
      5. **Sesame Seeds**: These add a subtle nutty flavor and a bit of crunch. They are rich in healthy fats, protein, and minerals like calcium and iron.
      When using seeds other than chia, keep in mind that they won't absorb as much liquid and thicken the oats as chia seeds do. To maintain a desirable consistency, you might need to adjust the liquid ratio or consider adding a smaller amount of chia seeds or ground flaxseeds alongside the other seeds. This way, you can still enjoy the thickening benefits while incorporating a variety of seeds for added nutrition and texture.

      As far as I understand "Mixing yogurt and milk and consuming them together is generally not harmful for most people. Yogurt is a fermented dairy product that contains live probiotics, which can be beneficial for gut health. Milk, on the other hand, is a good source of calcium and other essential nutrients.
      However, as with any dietary combination, some individuals may experience mild digestive discomfort, especially if they are lactose intolerant or have specific sensitivities to dairy products. If you have no issues with consuming dairy and do not experience any adverse reactions, there is no significant harm in eating yogurt and milk together.
      As always, it's essential to listen to your body and be mindful of any potential reactions. If you have concerns or specific dietary requirements, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian for personalized advice."🙏
      Normally we take this on regular basis

    Can i use saffola creamy oats for this???

    • @EktasKitchen
      @EktasKitchen  Před měsícem

      Yes, you can use Saffola Creamy Oats to make overnight oats. Overnight oats are typically made by soaking oats in a liquid (like milk or yogurt) overnight, allowing the oats to soften and absorb the flavors. Here's a basic recipe to get you started:
      ### Basic Overnight Oats Recipe with Saffola Creamy Oats
      **Ingredients:**
      - 1/2 cup Saffola Creamy Oats
      - 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
      - 1/2 cup yogurt (optional, for extra creaminess)
      - 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
      - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
      - Fresh or dried fruits, nuts, seeds, or other toppings (as desired)
      **Instructions:**
      1. **Combine Ingredients:** In a jar or bowl, combine the Saffola Creamy Oats, milk, yogurt (if using), honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well to mix.
      2. **Refrigerate:** Cover the jar or bowl and place it in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 4-6 hours).
      3. **Add Toppings:** In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add your desired toppings such as fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, or a drizzle of nut butter.
      4. **Serve:** Enjoy your creamy overnight oats cold, or heat them briefly in the microwave if you prefer them warm.
      Feel free to experiment with different combinations of liquids, sweeteners, and toppings to suit your taste.
