Sonoma Fire Victims Build Gorgeous Tiny House

- "Here is our latest tiny home that went to Santa Rosa, CA for a couple who's home was burned down in the Sonoma fires last year. They lost everything in the fire and call this the Phoenix because of their rise from the ashes.
This home is 41ft x 10ft on a gooseneck trailer. There are only two people living in the home. So many aspects of this home are custom. It has a built in mantel, fire place, entertainment center all of which is made from real wood. Built in drawers under the stairs to the gooseneck, built in bookcase in the wall to the gooseneck, quartz counters, tile backsplash in the kitchen and bathroom, copper vented hood in the kitchen, full size fridge and double oven range with pull out spice racks on both sides of the range. There are 3 skylights, two dormers and 3 custom exposed beams in the living room/kitchen area. The fan is a 60" galvanized windmill style fan with weathered oak blades and 6 programmed speeds. The overhead lights in the living room and bedroom are hooked up as lights/bluetooth speakers for surround sound with the TV but you can also listen to a separate channel in the bedroom. Large trough sink in the bathroom with two wall mount faucets, built in custom medicine cabinet and tile shower. The bedroom is in the gooseneck and it has a built in queen bed with storage below. The step up into the closet/lounge area has two built in storage lockers and a hidden safe.
This home also has a 6.5kW solar system from Humless along with the back up battery and solar array that's detached from the home."

This is the best, most organize, and luxurious tiny house I've ever seen. I love the layout. I really like everything about it and how it was designed. I love how the bathroom is separated from the kitchen. This house is spacious. Whoever came up with the design is brilliant.

41x10, if the external walls were counted it wouldn't even fit the legal definition of a tiny house lol (of course they aren't, so it probably just barely squeaks in under 400 sq f)
I love the fact that you can stand up in the bedroom.
It's rare in a tiny and it's always been a négative point to me, so nice job !!
I also adore the fact that it's possible to have an actual couch and a nice chair in the living room.
Most of the tiny I saw just have a bench sit and that doesnt feel great to me. Im a couch person !!

This house has everything I love... copper sink, vent hood, rain shower head, trough sink in bathroom, reading loft, barn doors and hardwood floors among other cool stuff! Nailed it!!

I long for my own house exactly this way. It's gorgeous. It's truly all I would need. Those detailed ceilings are breathtaking and the window trims. What attention to detail. Very impressive. Glad to hear the family can and has recovered & has somewhere to enjoy living.

Far side (sorry to butt in👃) Go back and look at that sweet room that is accessed off the master. It has room to throw a mattress in, or create a private lounge, or store stuff, without having a second access ladder/stairs. Brilliant. I want this so much. Just right. Wider build, plenty of natural light, cozy spots, not too sterile and modern but sleek and stylish.
Jeanine H , same here, this is more beautiful than I could imagine. I just need one thing a bathtub that I could soak my busted body in. That would be glorious, amen. You could take some of the nicer things away in order to get a tub and that for me is perfection . It is still free to dream, right? Ahhh, all is well with the world.

This is absolutely beautiful! A gorgeous Tiny Home, that I would love living in.
I live in Tokyo where most of the apartments are about this size but this house is a hundred times better and more well designed than most of the apartments in Tokyo.

For the past five years I have been a connoisseur of many tiny home layouts and I want to say this has got to be the best I have seen. From the attention to detail to most importantly the intelligence and thought that went into the floor layout this is a fantastic build!
The kitchen location is to me makes so much sense for a tiny house. So often you see them located in the middle of the house and let’s face it your cooking smell soon encompasses the entire house as well as the heat from cooking. So hats off to you!!

Yes, but the bathroom looks like a prison cell. So cold. I wish they had included a few colour tiles at least. TBH I would hope for them to crack so I could replace them with something warmer.

One of the best tiny home designs I've seen. I really love the fact they have created a space for their living area with a fire & tv for the focal point & comfortable sofas and chair.
Too many of these tiny homes give the kitchen more space & priority usually with an uncomfortable sofa stuck into a tiny area at the end.
The toilet being away from the kitchen is a bonus too.
I seen many videos of Tiny homes but this one is the most beautiful I had seen so far. This would be my kind of living if I had one of these homes..❤❤❤❤ it!

I agree with you, this is an amazing tiny home and I would love one like it...its a reasonable size and any tiny house, I would need stairs, not a ladder. Love the kitchen and the bedroom looks really comfortable.

Staring at a big black box is pretty bad Fung Shui as well, I know I don't use my TV 99% of the time, so I have mine covered with a silk tapestry that has a nice pattern, matches the house better like the other commenter said.
Duh ... TVS are ugly and ubiquitous. A great idea so the idiot box is covered when off ...

I love it! It's wider than the standard tiny house so it doesn't feel claustrophobic. A tiny house bedroom where you can actually stand is a very big plus for me and I love the small space on top of the bathroom. So glad for the couple to start their new life.
The smaller home concept is a great idea to help people during a crisis of loss, until they can get back on their feet. What a great answer weither it be a temporary living structure, or permanent. These tiny homes offer security, and comfort and they are beautiful. 😊❤️

Finally! A master gooseneck bedroom with a DOOR! I love the gooseneck rooms because you can actually stand in them and don't require a ladder to access them. And I like that the loft has a pocket door, but I don't like that it's only accessible through the master bedroom. But since it's only a two people living in it, not a big deal. Overall, nice cozy looking home! Love the wall in book shelves near the bedroom and the bathroom being on the opposite end from the kitchen. Beautiful design!
I have always adored tiny houses... but not many cater to having three large dogs. This one has a doggie bedroom! And all the details are stunning. Just gorgeous!!!

Living in this tiny home would be no hardship for me. Yes, it is a bit bigger than many tiny homes. I like that the bedroom is not a loft and those built-in bookshelves along the stairs! Wow! Beautiful fireplace and lovely living room that looks like a real living room. I like that you can have real furniture in that room, not just a storage cubby with the foam pad to seat two people. And the beautiful kitchen with everything full-size. It is just lovely. ♥️♥️♥️

I have looked at thousands of tiny homes and this one beats them all hands down the only thing I would add is a bath tub. Saving this one
Find space for a dishwasher with a marble top for baking tasks and somewhere to put a washer/dryer combo unit and this comes closest to what I've been trying to piece together. I'd use that loft space for long term storage (can't crawl) but all in all this is great!
My only complaint is that the queen size bed is up against the wall. Have you ever tried making a bed with one side against a wall? It’s not easy. Other than that, nice layout.

Loved the high ceilings on this one and all of the natural light.. The combination made it appear roomy and the wood gave it a homey feel.
I have watched COUNTLESS tiny homes videos, and this right here is my favorite to date of what I'd actually want to have some day. Love the little nook above the bathroom and the bookcases!

Love the tiny house design. The only thing I don't like is the overtop rain showerhead. I prefer to have a removable showerhead.
There's one change i'd make, a wrap around couch with recliners so everyone could lounge. The design of this house is genius. Spacious kitchen, spacious lounge living room area, nice sized bathroom and two bedrooms! I love videos of tiny houses, this is one of the few I could live in.

I do wish they had shown the exterior and talked more about the builder and pricing. I subscribe to this channel because I am interested in purchasing a tiny home or having one built. This house is perfect. I have watched many tiny house videos and i found this one and thought I wouldnt change a thing. Kudos for yall for giving it to victims of a fire, that is truly loving thy neighbor . I hope your business goes far! maybe one day I could afford to build this model.
Where does it say that they donated it? I keep seeing that they sell these for $110k. I assumed that the family had house insurance.
Now I could definitely live in this home. Beautifully laid out. I've never seen a fan like that!! The only drawback is closet space.

Patricia Silvia, add a door to that "closet" space over the bathroom and sound proof it. It would function as a space for private phone calls. I'm married, but I don't like my husband hearing every word I say all the time!

This is one of the nicest tiny homes I’ve seen. I love the trim around the windows, huge medicine cabinet, shelves in the shower, little room over the bathroom, open area in the main part. I could go on selecting the things I really like. I read below $239,000. They are charging way too much for tiny homes now.
