I purchased a 28 ft model from these guys, was somewhat satisfied until utilities were hooked up. leaks and more leaks. The bathroom alone has several overlooked issues and problems from the sink leaking wooden trim falling off as it was not nailed. refrigerator door dented and scratched up, outside light fixture not wired in, toilet loose to floor toilet seat loose. I contacted them one time before and they offered to pay for a plumber to come out. I saved them that money by doing it myself. when these other issues arose, I contacted them wanting compensation for my time and inconvenience. and no phone call back and no reply to my email. It appears this company cannot stand behind its work and gets your money and runs. a poor way to do business I would highly suggest to any potential buyer to not make a purchase from this company for their lack of quality control, poor planning and failure to have the integrity to accept the mistakes that were done. buyer Beware! legal action I guess is the only recourse.

The first word that comes to mind is "cramped," but there are other issues. Placing the wood burning stove in the tiny hall is odd and an escape hazard if there is fire, because it's too close to the exit door. The 2 steps up to the kitchen are a tripping hazard. The window wall in the gooseneck room (living room &/or office) looks like a glass garage door--ugly. The toilet sticks out into walkway. The tub sticks out a lot into the walkway. The stairs to the loft over the bathroom are too narrow and have an awkward, tight turn to navigate. As usual, that loft is a concussion hazard. If someone were to give me one of these units, I would only use the bathroom loft for storage. I would use the gooseneck loft as a bedroom, but convert the bottom 1/2 of the garage door window into a wall, partly for safety from break-ins, partly for more wall space, and partly because it's currently very ugly. There is no space for even a small kitchen table, and nowhere for a home office. I am usually able to find something that I like in these tiny home videos. Sadly, not this time. Please bear in mind that I am critiquing the design of this model not the designer. Actually, I'm just very confused that the designer put so many flaws in this tiny home. I'm guessing that the designer hasn't had much experience designing homes. Actually there were a couple of nice things in the design. It had a good bit of storage for a tiny home, and a clothes washer. I'd like to make a suggestion. Move the wood burning stove into the gooseneck loft. Then there will be room in the little hall for a small kitchen/office table. Also put little LED safety lights on the 2 steps up to the kitchen. And offer the option of a large shower stall instead of a tub barricading the door. My suggestions won't fix everything, but they will make the place safer and more livable.

I am 53 and I have owned regular homes when my kids were still at home. I sold my house and live in a 128 sq ft tiny house and I love being able to move it wherever I want to.

Have a kid. Living in 205 sq ft. I want a tiny home. Been living this way for 2 1/2 years. Looking to buy a tiny mobile home when the market normalizes. Biggest struggle is most home loan options don't cover tiny homes or even mobile homes. I'd love to build my own tiny home but local laws make it impossible.

Update: 5 years after the pandemic and a terrible Biden presidency, these foldable homes are no longer a laughing matter. Houses went from 150grand to 400,000$ starting. The American dream died. There's no longer the middle class. It's only rich and poor. But, now this laughable house that seems like a nice temp solution, has become much much more attractive to the slaves of w-2. We are called the working poor, forever renters, or my favorite and most insulting "forever nesters" those of us who are un married, no children, and don't even make enough a month for the 2 grand rent in Kentucky; well losers like us now have fucking hope There's hope, for the people who are the lost folks who, by standards of our society become invisible. We now have a chance to own something you can live in besides the street, or get evicted to them be homeless, yes we have hope now. Even if you laugh at me or these people, well fuck you, because unlike YOU I'm gonna retire, be able to travel the world. Unlike you being stuck under a 30 year mortgage, you'll never had the commodity of time all because you bought a house for 400,000$ and took out a loan for 8%. Y'all be like well in the 80s... It's the not 80s. Your same home is not the same price. It's 400,000 thousand dollar. If your making 20 bucks an hour, it's not a livable wage. If you make 2400 a month 3/4 will go to rent or mortgage. There's nothing left. Thank you for this dream home walk threw. I am the person I am referring to when it comes to affordable housing in a decent area at a price that doesn't make me cry because of hope loss. This house is everything I could and need to ask for. Hmmm…. It’s a scam created by the government who figured out you can tax people longer and higher because they think can make more keeping a home longer. In the U.S. people are scammed into generational wealth the longer they hold on to the home so called gaining equity but the government uses the homeowners for additional taxation support borrowing with bonds and funding itself. Look at the cost of public retirement pensions you as a homeowner have to pay for things that are anti retirement for yourself but pro retirement for government employees. That gets old real quick seeing your tax dollars are paying someone who wants to put a tax lien on you to evict you from your home. The amount of equity in the home over time depends on you paying longer an the limited number of homes for sale an the so value of the area property remaining off the market not for sale hinting the government can vote on raising your taxes which be higher over time then amount of equity coming from longer home ownership!!! It’s all in the math if you’re gaining or losing as home owner.
