    (Headers and Full System)
The Cons... What they don't tell you.
    - ITs very hard to seal up the band clamp connections and the exhaust will leak leak. This is normal but you can put the gasket maker provided against the pipes to seal that up. I dont like that
    - Much Noisier in the cab than these videos depicted. Floor under drivers feet resonates some. Will likely install some sound deadening mat to stop that.
    - System does not produce the sound in these videos.
    - Despite the claims of drone free. There Turbo Muffler has enough drone for you to notice and here some roaring at 70mph and many conditions during normal driving.
    - There instructions are almost useless. Missing key details of the install. This is not a job for someone with no experience you will have a hard time. The headers being the toughest of the install.
    - Instructions assume you have a lift and give very non specific details on how to disassemble.
    - Instructions assembly steps are very lacking as well and were of no assistance during the assembly process.
    - I personally hate the sound of there Turbo mufflers. I installed the full system Headers and cat back with performance connect. Overall I'm very disappointed in the sound of the system.
    - The only other muffler option is way too unruly. The RedLine Series, However with some Vibrant resonators they can be toned down.
    - Despite claims of mileage increase I saw No Mileage Increase. My driving is more conservative with headers because I can here it. (Its possible the temperature change here caused that. I will run some more tanks of gas threw it and update this post) Update. No Mileage increase.
    - If your a fanatic like myself you'll notice that inside of the collector they did not clean the primary pipe cuts up very well. You'll want to clean those up yourself.
    - Will probably need some dynamat to take care of the drone/resonance. Its not the worst I've had but its quite annoying at times. Update we did install Noico sound deadening and it really helped.
    - You will need to go back and check things after a week of driving or so. Tighten up loose ends. (not in instructions) as mentioned above this can be resolved using the provided gasket maker
    - Tuning is required even with there high flow cats. This is not mentioned in there paperwork or there instructions. This is because your running different Cats.
    Pros
    - Pipes and fitting are top notch. The kit really does come with most everything you will need for the install.
    - The headers are very well made.
    - The hardware is all top quality even using poly bushings and fancy hangers.
    -- Flanges are phenomenal
    -- Ports are perfect
    - fitting the system together is easy. Minimal cutting if any.
    - Scavaging spike in headers Big plus
    - Life time warranty
    - Mostly quite at cruising speeds minus the areas that the resonance shows up.
    - Only fabricated true duel system out there for these trucks.
    - Great customer support. They always seem happy to help.
    - Performance gains seem very noticeable. The truck doesn't slow itself down like it did with they stock setup. There really is a big difference.
The L86 Engine is just a Drony Motor. It may be the stock DOD cam. But it just wants to drone around 2,000 RPM.
We ended up installing Venom 250 Mufflers on it. Very loud. A good kind of loud. Ended up adding some Vibrant resonators next to the spare tire to calm it down a bit. Its right on the line of too loud but not quite. There is some drone in the cab still with the resonators and sound deadening but its well tolerable. Still a bit much for our liking. But not ear rattling.
    Additional notes.
Do yourself a favor and buy a new set of manafold gaskets. $20 could save you several hours of re-work
Allot more than just one day for the install. You'll likely run into something you didn't expect. Its really not a one man job. 2 people seems to work best as one can hold the header while the other gets the bolts started. You'll lube them up with gasket maker goop for additional insurance.
    Conclusion
Is it worth it. Knowing what I know now I dont feel that the headers were a mistake. I would buy a different set of mufflers for sure. The Turbos sound horrible. Take the time and understand what your getting into.

@ Andy Ayemin....Hate to break it to you but the new 5.3L has been tested by many magazines and it beats the Ram Hemi 5.7L to 60MPH. Thats a pretty fast grocery getter truck. The problem with the 14-18 5.3L was not the engine it was the programming of the transmission. I owned both 5.3L and 6.2L during those years. Now have a 2019 6.2L with 10pd and it's worlds above the old 8 and 6 spds. Feels like it has way more power then 420

Well it’s worth it if you ever bought headers, These are stainless steal 304 in which never rust, now think SS doesn’t rust but it does IF you buy 403 SS headers they rust I’m talking from first mine rusted out in two years I paid a little over $600.00 for them. I didn’t know much about SS then. Then I did my research after these cheaper ones rusted out. So buy cheap and have to replace in a couple years or buy more expensive and you not have ever replace plus these have lifetime warranty. Can’t go wrong...
